Chapter 89: Late Night Snack

Sang Tianen walked to the deck to check the fish he had caught. As expected, the fish was dead. In such a high temperature and without an oxygenator, it was a miracle that the fish was still alive.

She threw the fish into the sea in a somewhat discouraged manner, thinking that she had committed a sin. Not only did she not eat the fish, but she also let the fish waste its life in vain, which was really a waste of her sins.

She walked back to the kitchen, took out some ingredients from the refrigerator and started cooking. When Yan Zheng came out of the bedroom in flip-flops, she had already laid out the dishes neatly.

Hearing the noise, Sang Tianen smiled and said, "I was just about to call you."

Yan Zheng secretly took a deep breath. Every step he took now made his waist ache. Although he tried his best to hide it, his walking posture was still a little strange. When he thought about how the two of them had been together since daytime...

Sang Tianen also noticed his strangeness and couldn't help blushing. After clearing his throat, he said, "Let's eat."

Yan Zheng sat opposite her, lowered his eyes and picked up the chopsticks. Sang Tianen's cooking skills were good, and he was so hungry that he ate two bowls of rice in one breath.

After dinner, Sang Tianen went to wash the dishes very consciously. Yan Zheng originally wanted to help her, but his legs were really unable to stand, so he could only be chased out by Sang Tianen with a red face.

The night sky was dotted with countless sparkling stars, and the surging waves gently rocked the boat like a baby's cradle. Yan Zheng lay comfortably in the chair, enjoying the sea breeze, his heart as calm as the dark night at sea.

The inner demon that had troubled him for many years was finally overcome. The pain and sorrow of the past now seemed like just a small ravine on the road of life, and the past was finally gone with the wind.

After Sang Tianen finished washing the dishes, she came out with two coconuts, each with a straw stuck in it. She handed one to Yan Zheng and said, "Are you still sleepy now?"

Yan Zheng took the coconut and shook his head slightly. He looked like some small animal, very well-behaved and cute.

Sang Tianen couldn't help but smile and said, "Although I really want to enjoy this wonderful night with you, I have to say that we have to set sail."

Yan Zheng was stunned for a moment, then remembered what the yacht company's salesperson had said before, that private yachts were not allowed to stay overnight at sea. He nodded and said, "Let's go back quickly."

Sang Tianen turned around and took two steps, then suddenly stopped and turned back to ask, "Baby, do you want to drive a yacht?"

"Can it be opened?" Yan Zheng looked at her with shining eyes, and was eager to try.

"It's okay, I'll carry you and drive together." Sang Tianen waved to him.

Yan Zheng stood in front of the steering wheel, and Sang Tianen stood behind him, driving the yacht all the way to the dock. After rushing for a long time, the two finally got ashore before nine o'clock.

"This is really interesting." Yan Zheng said happily, shaking Sang Tianen's hand. "How many days did you rent the yacht?"

"Two days. I can take you out for a day tomorrow. I heard from my senior sister that there are several uninhabited islands nearby. The scenery is quite good and especially suitable for taking pictures. I will take you to see them tomorrow." Sang Tianen withdrew his hand and pushed out the bicycle he had rented before.

Yan Zheng skillfully jumped onto the back seat, hugged Sang Tianen's waist and said with a smile: "Okay, then can you still let me drive the yacht?"

Sang Tianen stepped on the crutches and said, "Sure, let's find a deserted place. With such a big sea, we are not afraid of you colliding with the ship."

The two of them returned to the senior sister's house, chatting and laughing. As soon as they arrived at the door, they smelled an aroma mixed with cumin and chili. The senior sister was standing in front of a rectangular barbecue grill, sweating profusely, grilling skewers, and there were two tables of men and women sitting next to her.

The senior sister lifted her clothes and wiped the sweat from her forehead, then said to the two people who had just returned from their trip, "Come back, come and have some barbecue."

"The boss is treating us to free barbecue today!" A woman at the table on the left reminded them kindly, thinking that Sang Tianen was just an ordinary resident here like them.

Sang Tianen didn't bother to be polite with her. He rolled up his sleeves and walked over. Looking at the sizzling skewers, he said, "Do you need my help?"

"No need, you're affecting my performance here." The senior sister chased him away with disgust.

"Sister, sit here!" It was the same voice from before.

Sang Tianen walked over holding Yan Zheng's hand. The person who spoke was a woman who looked to be in her thirties. Sitting next to her was a man about her age and a boy of eight or nine years old.

It should be a family of three.

"Thank you!" Sang Tianen said with a smile. He had just pulled over the plastic chair when he suddenly found some oil stains on the chair Yan Zheng was about to sit on. He subconsciously stopped him, took out a tissue from the table and wiped it carefully before letting him sit down.

"Sister, be nice to your boyfriend." A sweet male voice came from the opposite side of Sang Tianen.

Sang Tianen looked up and saw that it was a handsome young boy. He smiled and said, "If you are not good to your boyfriend, then what's the point of being his girlfriend?"

The boy smiled and narrowed his round eyes into a crescent shape: "Sister, you are really good at talking."

Under the table, Yan Zheng twisted Sang Tianen's thigh, not too hard, as if just to warn her not to look around or talk nonsense, otherwise he wouldn't have used such force as he did now.

Sang Tianen found her boyfriend's behavior very funny. She raised her eyebrows, gently scratched the palm of his hand under the table, and pinched the tender flesh on his thigh.

Yan Zheng was so angry that he wanted to pinch it back, but his senior sister happened to be serving the dishes, so he had to grit his teeth and give up.

"Eat slowly, you'll have enough to eat today." The senior sister said to everyone with a smile.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier that you were going to treat us to barbecue? Yan Zheng and I have already had it." Sang Tianen smiled and leaned back in his chair, teasing.

The senior sister immediately glared at her and said, "It's my fault." Then she left with her chin raised.

Of course, one cannot let down the delicious food in front of him. Yan Zheng had just eaten more than an hour ago and did not feel like eating, so he took a string of roasted potato chips and started eating them symbolically.

"Would you like a drink?" Sang Tianen did not start eating immediately. Instead, he turned his head and patiently asked Yan Zheng what he needed.

"No, I'm not thirsty." Yan Zheng smiled. He had just drunk so much coconut milk that his stomach was still sloshing around. "Don't worry about me. Just eat by yourself."

There was a disposable paper cup on the table. Sang Tianen took one and was about to reach out to grab the sour plum juice when he suddenly saw a white hand push the glass bottle forward.

Sang Tianen was stunned for a moment, her eyes falling on the hand. She had never seen such beautiful hands before, with even bones and as white as jade shoots. One could tell at a glance that these were hands that had never done any rough work.
