Chapter 36 Unexpected Visitors

Yan Zheng lowered his eyes, not knowing what he was thinking.

Sang Tianen felt that he might be being too realistic, so he softened his tone and said, "Of course, I personally still admire those who are willing to follow their partners and eat coarse food. This great spirit is not possessed by everyone."

At this time, the indicator beeped again, indicating that the garlic clams were ready. Yan Zheng stood up and whispered, "I'll go get the clams."

Sang Tianen nodded, his eyes calm and composed.

Two minutes later, Yan Zheng came back with a takeaway box in his hand. Sang Tianen sat on the chair and looked at him, as if he had been waiting for this moment to come.

Yan Zheng's expression was a little awkward, as if he was too embarrassed to speak. After a few seconds, he said, "Sorry, Nantian is waiting for me outside. I need..."

"It's okay." Sang Tianen interrupted him and showed a considerate and gentle smile, "I'm leaving too." Then he stood up.

Yan Zheng was stunned for a moment, frowned subconsciously, and his eyes became unclear and unpredictable when he looked at Sang Tianen.

"I have thought carefully about what you just said. I will communicate with my brother again. Thank you very much." Sang Tianen pushed the shopping cart over, smiled brightly, and walked away.

After paying the bill at the supermarket, Sang Tianen took out a pack of cigarettes from the groove of the car, took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth. Just as he was about to light it, he suddenly saw a strange woman standing in front of Yan Zheng in the distance.

The woman enthusiastically took the plastic bag from Yan Zheng's hand. The two of them walked to a red sports car, talking and laughing, and both got in.

Sang Tianen pressed the lighter, and a flame suddenly ignited at the spark plug, and the pale yellow flame illuminated her dark and deep eyes.

She leaned back in her chair, took a deep drag on her cigarette, her eyes slightly cold as water, and after a long moment she murmured, "Nantian?"

After smoking, Sang Tianen drove home. As she walked out of the elevator carrying a heavy shopping bag, she was startled by a figure squatting in front of her house.

The other person had his head down, with a suitcase next to him. She couldn't remember who he was for a moment.

She raised her foot and kicked the man with dyed yellow hair: "Hey, wake up, who are you, squatting at my door?"

The man raised his head, his eyes were confused for a moment, and when he saw Sang Tianen's appearance clearly, he cried out "Wow" and flew into Sang Tianen's arms.

"Wow, wow, wow, cousin, I'm homeless, you have to take me in."

The man cried so hard that his tears and snot all smeared on Sang Tianen's shirt. Sang Tianen was so angry that she wanted to kick him on the spot. She squeezed out a few tones from between her teeth: "1, 2..."

Before she could count to three, the man immediately let go of her and said while wiping his tears: "You can be mean to me, but you have to take me in."

Sang Tianen snorted and glanced at him, then took the plastic bag from his right hand with his left hand, unlocked the door and said, "Change your shoes!"

Sang Mingming's face lit up with joy, and he opened the shoe cabinet with an "oh" sound. "Sister, which pair of shoes should I change into? Can I wear these little bear slippers? They're so cute."

"If you want Sang Muyang to spank you, just wear it." Sang Tianen changed into the slippers he wore when he went out in the morning and walked into the house.

Sang Mingming found a pair of blue slippers and put them on, then walked in dragging his suitcase. Just as he was about to drag it, Sang Tianen in front of him stopped him, saying, "Carry it, or it will scratch the floor."

Sang Mingming stuck out his tongue. His sister was as difficult as ever. However, he was really desperate this time. Apart from Sang Tianen, he couldn't think of anyone else who was willing to take him in.

"Sister, it's so heavy. Can you help me carry it to the guest room?" Sang Mingming blinked her eyes painted with pink eyeshadow and pleaded pitifully.

Sang Tianen looked at his heavily made-up face and became angry. Just as he was about to curse him, he suddenly remembered Yan Zheng's words.

What seems unreasonable to her may be normal behavior in Sang Mingming's eyes. She cannot demand others to follow her own standards of behavior.

After staring at Sang Mingming silently for a few seconds, she walked up to Sang Mingming without saying a word and picked up the suitcase.

Sang Mingming was stunned. Had her sister changed her ways? In the past, she would have scolded him before even offering help, but this time, she was just silently helping him carry his luggage?

But he couldn't care less. He walked to the table, rummaged through the supermarket shopping bag that Sang Tianen had just brought back, took out a bottle of coconut milk and started drinking it.

As soon as Sang Tianen came out, he saw Sang Mingming devouring the bread he had bought like a wolf. The plastic bag was almost half empty. He said with a sullen look, "Are you fleeing from famine?"

Sang Mingming swallowed the food and said, "I didn't eat lunch and I'm starving. I put your food in the refrigerator for you." Then he took another sip of coconut milk.

"It's my fault for not treating you to a meal." Sang Tianen poured himself a glass of water and started drinking.

"Sister, is it really okay for you to be so sharp-tongued?" Sang Mingming grumbled in dissatisfaction, "You'll end up lonely this way."

"You're like bandits entering the village, sweeping away all the things I bought. Even if you're unhappy, you have to listen." Sang Tianen walked to the sofa with a cup of water and sat down. "Are you having a fight with your family again?"

"Yeah, my dad insisted that I go on a blind date with Zhang Xiaopang from the garbage collection station. When I got upset, he scolded me, and then I packed up and ran away."

"And then you came to me?" Sang Tianen looked at him sideways.

Sang Mingming twisted his waist and trotted over to Sang Tianen, shaking her arm and licking her face, saying, "Sister, please take me in for a while. It would be too embarrassing for me to run back now."

"It's your shame, not mine." Sang Tianen remained unmoved. "Your father will say that I've ruined your life. I can't bear such a heavy responsibility."
