Chapter 57 Moon Festival

After discussing things with his family, Sang Tianen took his two younger brothers back to the city. It was nearly eleven o'clock when he got home. After taking a quick shower, he took out the red envelope given by his grandmother from his bag and wanted to count how much money she had given him.

When he was taking it, he accidentally pulled out a square piece of paper with bright oil paint printed on it. He picked it up with his fingers and took a look at it. His eyes suddenly widened. It turned out to be the lottery ticket he bought yesterday.

How could she have forgotten about this? She stroked the smooth surface of the paper and squinted her eyes to look at the lottery date. The prize was drawn yesterday.

With one hand, he picked up his phone and searched for yesterday's winning numbers, and with the other hand, he picked up the lottery ticket and started claiming the prize.

I glanced at the first ball and it missed. My heart instantly dropped, a bit disappointed but also feeling that it was normal.

Her gaze shifted to the second red ball, and her body suddenly jolted. Uncertainly, she quickly glanced at her phone screen. It was the same. She then looked at the third ball, and it was still the same...

A minute later, Sang Tianen slowly put down his hand. After being in a daze for a full ten seconds, he quietly walked to the bedroom and fell onto the bed behind him. He fell into a state of silence.

The next day she got up early, put on some light makeup, and carefully selected her clothes. She looked a bit like a news anchor on TV.

Sang Muyang brought the prepared breakfast over. When he saw Sang Tianen's expression, he was immediately surprised and asked, "Sister, what are you doing? Are you going on a date with your brother-in-law today?"

Sang Mingming, who was standing next to him, also joked, "My brother-in-law will definitely be fascinated by him if he sees him."

"It's so early in the morning, are you two eating honey? It's so sweet?" Sang Tianen was in a good mood. He pulled out a chair and sat at the dining table to eat breakfast.

"Sister, is my brother-in-law good-looking?" Sang Muyang asked with a smile.

"It looks good." Sang Tianen replied casually.

When she came out of the coffee shop, the only man left in her eyes was Yan Zheng. Thinking of this, it seemed that there was a little bit of love at first sight.

"Compared with Ji Wuming?" Sang Mingming next to him suddenly interrupted.

Everyone who knows Sang Tianen well knows how much she likes Ji Wuming. Whenever Ji Wuming holds a concert in China, Sang Tianen will immediately stop what she is doing and rush to the scene.

Sang Tianen glanced at him, his eyes clearly meaning: "Your question is like asking who your wife would save first if you and your mother-in-law both fell into the water at the same time. Is that interesting?"

"Just asking." Sang Mingming curled his lips and paused for a few seconds before saying, "By the way, it's the Moon Festival in a few days. What kind of feathers are you planning to buy for your brother-in-law?"

These words made Sang Tianen stunned. She had never had a lover, so naturally she didn't care about these festivals. Unless someone around her reminded her, she wouldn't even remember them.

The Moon-Thinking Festival is equivalent to Valentine's Day in the previous life. The origin of this festival is similar to the story of the Seven Fairies. The general content is as follows:

Legend has it that a few immortal men, because they were greedy for the prosperity of the human world, secretly put on feather robes and came down to earth to play. After arriving in the human world, they hid the feather robes in a cave and left.

A few days later, the immortal men were preparing to return to the divine realm, but they found that the feather clothes that were originally hidden well in the cave suddenly disappeared. They immediately became panicked, because without the feather clothes, they could not fly back to the divine realm.

Several people were searching around the town in a panic. Suddenly, they found a lot of people gathered at a corner of the street. Driven by curiosity, they walked over and found that the thing the vendor was selling was the feather coat they had lost.

Several people were immediately furious and wanted to beat the vendor up, but because they had escaped secretly, they could not use their divine power. Otherwise, if the god in charge of punishment found out, they would be in big trouble.

Among the several immortal men, Xiao Wu was the most excited. He pulled his four brothers to his side and whispered...

The eldest, Yue'er, was the most beautiful. She gracefully pushed through the crowd and walked in. The peddler couldn't take his eyes off her when he saw her. His face flushed red as he asked, "My dear brother, do you want to buy my feathered robe?"

The eldest sister nodded, half covering her face with her sleeves and said, "Yes, sister." The vendor was startled by the word "sister" and felt that the lingering sound could last for three days.

"If you want to buy it, how about I give you some money off?" The peddler licked his chapped lips and stared at the eldest brother.

The eldest brother frowned, his face looking sad like Xi Shi holding her heart, and said, "Thank you for your kindness, sister, but..." He looked at the peddler sadly with a pair of eyes that seemed to want to say something but couldn't, and the meaning was very obvious.

The peddler hesitated. He found these feathered robes in a cave while it was raining heavily. He got these things by accident while trying to hide from the rain. He had hoped to sell them for a good price so that he could marry a husband and live a life of ease. However, he had not sold any of them so far.

Although the man in front of me was dressed in ordinary clothes, he was indeed very beautiful. If not...

With a plan in mind, the vendor picked up the feathered clothes on the ground and put them on the cart, then said to the boss, "Come with me."

The eldest brother was stunned for a moment, his beautiful eyes turned gently, and he really followed the vendor. His four younger brothers also followed quietly behind him.

The two of them came to an empty corner, and the vendor put down his cart and said, "Brother, let me be honest. I found this feather coat in a cave. I hope to sell it for a good price so I can marry a man and start a family."

"Sister, what I mean is..." the eldest brother said softly.

The vendor bit his lip and said, "I still have a few acres of good farmland and two thatched huts at home. If you are willing to live with me, I will give you all these feather clothes."
