"Come on, stop being so narcissistic and drive!" Sang Tianen really couldn't stand her narcissistic look. Just then the red light turned green, so he urged her.
Shuaiyu Island is not big. After passing a traffic light, Sang Tianen and Yan Zheng arrived at their senior sister’s homestay - a white multi-story building with several Canglan trees planted in front of the door, covered with blue flowers.
The sea breeze blew, the branches and leaves swayed, and the falling petals formed a thin layer on the cobblestone ground, like a carpet woven from blue petals.
"Welcome to my hometown - Shuaiyu Island!" The senior sister stood in front of the yard gate and made a standard gesture of inviting people in.
That strange look made Sang Tianen and Yan Zheng laugh, and they pulled their suitcases and walked into the white building.
The room arranged by the senior sister was on the top floor. Next to their bedroom, there was an extended balcony. Standing on it, one could see a very beautiful sea view. Sang Tianen simply turned around, smiled, patted the senior sister on the shoulder and said, "Thank you!"
"Why are you being so polite to me?" Senior Sister waved her hand. "You two should clean up first. I'll go downstairs to help my husband cook. I'll call you later to let you eat."
Sang Tianen thanked him again, took out his mobile phone and sent a message to the business manager of the yacht rental company. After the other party said it was no problem, he bent down to pack his luggage.
After a few seconds of packing, I suddenly caught a glimpse of a figure standing motionless in front of me. Without even looking up, he said, "Why are you standing there like a log, not even packing your luggage?"
Yan Zheng's expression was a little nervous, as if he was struggling to make a decision. After a few seconds, he took a deep breath and said, "Tonight...we...are going to live together?"
Sang Tianen paused while packing his clothes, looked up at him in surprise and said, "What are you thinking? This is the room where their child lives."
From the moment she learned that she would be staying in the room of her senior sister's child, Sang Tianen gave up some of her beastly thoughts. In her understanding, when a couple visits relatives and friends and stays at someone else's house, they are not allowed to sleep together, as it seems that it will bring a bad influence to the host family.
Although this statement is very superstitious, since others have provided her with convenience and help, she naturally has to be more conscious, so she decided to sleep on the rattan chair on the balcony at night, which would not be considered a violation of the rules.
Hearing Sang Tianen's words, Yan Zheng felt relieved, but he became annoyed again the next second. Sang Tianen took in his expression and his look suddenly became a little playful.
She put down the clothes she was tidying, raised her eyebrows, stared at Yan Zheng with burning eyes and said, "Why, you seem disappointed?"
Yan Zheng's cheeks turned red when she said that, and his eyes wandered. He squatted down in a panic, unzipped the suitcase and started to pack his things: "I don't understand what you are saying." His voice was unusually weak.
Sang Tianen lowered his head and smiled as he walked up to him. He leaned over and blew air behind his delicate ear and said, "Don't be so stubborn."
Yan Zheng turned around in anger and tried to twist her, but Sang Tianen jumped away with a smile on her face. A smile as bright as the stars bloomed on her face, but after a while she gradually stopped smiling and her eyes became dark.
After a few seconds of pausing, he suddenly asked in a very strange tone, "You didn't actually want to go upstairs for coffee that day, did you?"
Yan Zheng's heart tightened in an instant... He didn't answer her.
Twenty minutes later, the two of them packed up their things, and their senior sister called and asked them to come downstairs for dinner.
Yan Zheng followed Sang Tianen with some uneasiness. As soon as he finished speaking, Sang Tianen went to pack his clothes without saying another word to him.
He didn't understand what the other party meant, or whether he had some thoughts about him. After all, they had just met not long ago. In the eyes of most women, his behavior was undoubtedly that of a slut.
But if she really had a grudge against him, why did she go to all the trouble of taking him on a trip? Or was she actually testing him, wanting to see if he was really that kind of man?
Women will not easily reject a man who comes to them on his own initiative, but they will look down on such men from the bottom of their hearts.
Could Sang Tianen be such a person?
Thinking of this, Yan Zheng's eyes dimmed, and an unspeakable pain spread from the bottom of his heart. He clenched his fists tightly and looked at the tall figure in front of him, thinking that this might be the last journey between the two of them.
As soon as Sang Tianen walked into the courtyard, he saw a large round table filled with dishes, including oysters, grilled shrimps, steamed grouper, stir-fried swimming crabs, poached chicken, stir-fried beef, seasonal vegetables, and finally a large pot of eel and seafood porridge.
"Come, try my husband's cooking." The senior sister warmly invited the two to the table. "Usually, when I want to eat it, my husband won't cook it."
"You can live comfortably by doing it yourself. If you want to eat, just cook it yourself." Senior Sister's husband, Zhao Rong, walked in with a steamed pumpkin. When he turned to Sang Tianen, he smiled again. "I don't know if you and Xiao Zheng can get used to the food on our island."
Sang Tianen and Yan Zheng quickly stood up, moved the plates and said, "Brother-in-law, please stop. How can we finish all these dishes?"
"It's okay if you can't finish it. We still have Old Wang." Zhao Rong took off her apron with a smile, picked up a bottle of coconut juice and poured it into the empty paper cup in front of Yan Zheng.
Yan Zheng held the paper cup with both hands and said softly, "Thank you, brother-in-law."
"Hey, don't be polite." Zhao Rong smiled brightly, "You women can do it yourselves."
Sang Tianen looked around and asked curiously, "Is your baby here? Why can't I see it?" She had even prepared two big red envelopes.
