In the side yard.
Da Niu, San Niu, Ding Gui and Ding Quan were fighting with each other. San Niu was biting Ding Quan's arm tightly, and Er Niu was crying loudly in fear.
The incident started when the eldest girl took the second and third girls to go to their grandparents' house to find Ding Youtian. The two brothers Ding Gui and Ding Quan from the third room stopped them from going and said that their family had been driven away by their grandparents to a dilapidated house in the back mountain and were about to be kicked out.
The brothers Ding Gui and Ding Quan were the family's little bullies, eight and six respectively, and incredibly favored by their grandparents. They'd both vowed to Madam Meng that while their uncle, Wuyong, couldn't earn them an imperial title, they could. They'd even promised to bring them to the capital to enjoy a peaceful life, a move that had delighted Madam Meng to the core. The brothers were now Madam Meng's darlings, the hope for the Ding family's future prosperity.
The eldest girl didn't dare to mess with them because no matter if she was right or wrong, grandma would just beat her and scold her. She pulled the second and third girls to go back, but they stopped her and pushed them, telling them to get out immediately.
Sanniu glared at the two of them angrily. Ding Quan was unhappy and kicked Sanniu, saying that the money-loser dared to glare at him, and also said that her mother was a bitch who could not be killed even by thunder!
Ding Quan's words angered Sanniu.
You can scold her, but you can’t scold her mother!
She rushed towards Ding Quan like an angry bird.
Just like that, Sanniu and Ding Quan started fighting. When she couldn't win, she started biting. Then Ding Gui helped Ding Quan, and Da Niu helped Sanniu, and the four of them fought in a group.
Ding Youtian arrived first and pulled them apart. Ding Quan, the wicked one, started to complain, rolling up his sleeves and saying Sanniu had bitten him. Ding Youtian was still examining his arm when Gao rushed over in two steps and grabbed Sanniu.
With a "pop".
She slapped Sanniu.
He cursed, "I'll let you bite me!"
"Gao Yuelan!" Ding Youtian picked up Sanniu and saw that her face was slapped red. Anger rolled over his pretty face. "You are Sanniang's aunt after all. How could you be so cruel? Do you have any humanity at all? You vicious woman!"
Gao was used to bullying the Jians, and when her beloved son was bitten, she, in her haste, forgot Ding Youtian was nearby and slapped Sanniu. She was embarrassed and annoyed to be called a vicious woman by her brother-in-law, and just when she didn't know what to do, Meng's anxious voice came over.
"Why is Brother Quan crying? Who has offended Brother Quan..." Meng shouted repeatedly.
"Grandma, Sanniu bit me and broke my skin! Woo woo..." Ding Quan pouted and ran towards her crying.
"This is outrageous! This damned loser still dares to run rampant in this house..." Meng pulled up Ding Quan's sleeve and saw that his skin was broken, with deep teeth marks. She was so angry that her triangular eyes glared at him. Before she even got close, she pointed at Gao and ordered, "Beat Sanniu's mouth to pieces! Let's see if she dares to bite again."
"Mom!" Ding Youtian knew his mother was always partial, but he had never thought she was this biased. He couldn't help but yell at her, "Third sister's face has been beaten red, I'm afraid it will be swollen. Is Mom really that cruel?"
"I killed two of them and only got one pair!"
Mrs. Meng snorted coldly. The Fourth House was a thorn in her side. That morning, Mrs. Jian had been struck by lightning, leaving her embittered by the neighbors. Now, Mrs. Sanniu had bitten her beloved grandson. Given her temper, she'd have wanted to stomp her to death. She considered it a good deal for Mrs. Gao to just rip her mouth open.
She brought Ding Quan over and saw Gao standing there hesitantly, so she punched her on the back: "Are you dead? Why are you still standing there?
After being punched, Gao immediately went to Ding Youtian's arms to snatch Sanniu.
Ding Youtian naturally wouldn't let her snatch it away. Sanniu also glared at her fiercely and screamed, "Don't touch me, bad guy, go away!"
Gao insisted on snatching the baby away, and Sanniu got angry. She was the bravest of the four little ones, and she knew that Gao was snatching her away from her father to beat her, so she scratched Gao's face hard with her claws.
"You are such a good girl, I will beat you to death!" Gao's face was scratched by her claws, and it hurt so much.
"You're rebelling, you little bitch! You're so bold!" Seeing this, Meng was furious. She rushed over and pulled Gao away. Without saying a word, she beat Ding Youtian a few times and then tried to pull Sanniu. Ding Youtian protected Sanniu and shouted, "If mother wants to hit Sanniu today, she'll kill me first!"
"Wow, don't hit daddy..." Sanniu, who had been holding back her tears, burst into tears. She looked at Meng with tears in her eyes, "Grandma, don't hit my daddy, hit Sanniu..."
Big Girl and Little Girl also rushed over crying, each hugging Ding Youtian's thighs.
"Are you all howling?"
Meng always hated Ding Youtian for protecting his wife and daughter. She herself was beaten since she was a child. She was beaten by her mother before she got married, and by her mother-in-law after she got married. Her mother beat her even more cruelly than her mother-in-law, grabbing her hair and dragging her on the ground, and slamming her against the wall. But her fourth son is a little different. He always gets angry with her over that bunch of crooked guys and loses money. Today he even got into a fight with her and threatened to commit suicide.

"I asked you to protect me, asked you to protect me, let me see if I can beat you to death..." Meng was always cruel, and she was even more ruthless when she was furious. She used her hands and feet, grabbed and kicked him, and hit him with her head, then pulled Sanniu out of his arms.
"I'll let you protect me!"
After he finished speaking, he knocked Sanniu to the ground with a palm.
Sanniu got up, her face covered in blood from her nose. Ding Youtian was furious. He gathered the stunned Sanniu, Da Niu and Er Niu in his arms, glared at his mother and roared, "My son finally recognizes his mother today! If you have the guts, beat all four of us to death!"
