As they chatted, they arrived at the flower hall, which was elegantly decorated. The original owner had craftsmen build it entirely out of bamboo. The tables, chairs, and benches were all made of bamboo, except that they were cushioned with velvet.
There are more than a dozen bamboos planted beside the flower hall, and a small pond with a few red koi swimming freely in it; next to the pond is a small rockery with a stone trough in the center filled with clear water, with several bamboo tubes connected below; the water in the stone trough flows into the pond through the bamboo tubes. The overall layout has a bit of the artistic conception of pavilions and waterside pavilions.
Qin Yifan and Ding Youtian were standing on the bamboo bridge, talking, when Jian Ning approached with Mei Niang. He sighed, "It's beautiful, but it's a bit too cold here. My wife says it's easy to get rheumatism. For Qin's health, I'd like you to move out and we can move in."
"How can we do that?" Mei Niang said, "Since it's so cold, I'll tear it down tomorrow. How can I sell it to you? Rheumatism and bone pain are no small matter."
Qin Yifan glanced sideways, smiled and said nothing.
