Pei Jiuyan snatched the quilt from Lu Jinshu's hand, only to see something slip out of the quilt and fall to the ground.
Lu Jinshu looked down, his expression suddenly changing. Before he could react, Pei Jiuyan had already picked up the object that had fallen to the ground.
Ling Shumo looked up and saw that Pei Jiuyan was holding an extremely thin embroidery needle in his hand. The center of the needle emitted a cold and dazzling light under the sunlight.
