"Yes! I heard from the villagers that you moved away. Did you move to Tianhe County?" Liu Erniang asked curiously.
“That’s right, I’ve reopened a restaurant! My whole family lives there now!” Su Qinghe replied with a smile.
She looked down at the items on their stall.
"Has anyone placed an order for your items? If not, I'd like to buy them all!"
"Huh?" The mother and daughter were stunned for a moment, looking at the prey on the ground.
"We've just arrived and haven't had a single buyer yet. Of course, Your Majesty can buy if you want, but wouldn't that be too much?"
"Although it's late autumn, there's still so much game that we couldn't finish eating it even after half a month. I'm afraid it won't keep for long," Aunt Liu said, frowning.
"If the lady runs a restaurant, it might not be good to leave the food out for too long. Why don't you buy a little less? There are plenty of game in the mountains. I'll come every few days, so you can come back in a few days to buy some new ones."
Although she didn't know how Su Qinghe suddenly had so much money, Aunt Liu still didn't want her to waste it.
"Thank you for reminding me!" Su Qinghe said with a smile.
"But the food I sell in my restaurant is quite different from what is usually served, and the ingredients are consumed more quickly. These things don't last more than a few days."
Su Qinghe then pointed to the prey on the stall.
"Besides, you still have a few live ones here. I'll take them back and raise them for a few days before killing them. The others won't last much longer."
"Well... since the Queen insists, I'll sell it all to you!"
Aunt Liu stopped trying to persuade her and loaded all the game onto the oxcart.
"I have a total of 6 rabbits, 4 pheasants, and 1 goat here. I'll charge you 40 taels in total. How does that sound?"
“No problem! Here’s 40 taels, please keep it!” Su Qinghe readily agreed and took out 40 taels from her pocket and handed it over.
Aunt Liu took it and put it in her bosom.
"Where does the Queen's restaurant lie? There are too many prey; I can just bring them there for you!"
"Please come with me!"
Su Qinghe said, leading the way.
