After the meal.
Su Qinghe went to see Ji Qingyu with Ji Yuan.
The bed sheets had been changed, and Ji Qingyu was lying on them, her face pale.
"Yu-ge'er! Get up and have some porridge before you go back to sleep!"
Ji Yuan placed the porridge by the bedside and carefully helped the person sit up.
Ji Qingyu was covered in cold sweat, curled up, her brows furrowed, and her lips were bloodless.
Su Qinghe frowned deeply; this was much more serious than she had imagined.
She's been busy downstairs all day and hasn't come up to check on him once. All she heard from the two men was that he was in so much pain he couldn't get out of bed.
"Yu-ge'er! Open your mouth!"
Ji Yuan held the spoon to his lips, but he didn't move.
"Brother Yu?" he called out again.
Ji Qingyu closed his eyes, feeling dizzy from the pain. He could only hear someone calling his name, but he couldn't muster any strength.
"My lady!" Seeing that no one responded, Ji Yuan looked anxiously at Su Qinghe behind him.
"It's so serious! Why didn't you tell me sooner!"
Su Qinghe was a little angry, so she stepped forward and touched Ji Qingyu's forehead.
Thankfully, I didn't get a fever; it must just be from the pain.
"It wasn't this bad before dinner!" Ji Yuan was also somewhat annoyed.
"I'll try this to see if it makes him more comfortable!"
Su Qinghe stepped forward, frowned, and placed her hand, imbued with a layer of internal energy, on his abdomen, slowly circling it.
She had seen her best friend try this method on someone in her past life.
I've been training every day for the past month or two, and I haven't neglected my internal energy cultivation from my previous life. I've only recently made some progress, and I never expected to use it for something like this first!
The clinic is already closed, so I don't know if this method will work for the men here.
Ji Yuan stood aside, puzzled, but dared not disturb him.
Su Qinghe only withdrew her hand after Ji Qingyu's pained expression had subsided considerably.
"That should be much better! You can continue feeding him!" she instructed Ji Yuan.
"Ah? Okay!"
Ji Yuan was stunned for a moment, not quite coming to his senses, but still picked up the bowl again.
"Brother Yu!" He handed over the spoon and called out softly.
Ji Qingyu felt a warm sensation in her stomach, and the pain lessened.
He opened his eyes and saw the two people inside the room.
"Brother!" he called out weakly, his lips moved, and he drank the porridge.
"I'll take you to the clinic tomorrow!" Su Qinghe sat down on the edge of the bed.
Ji Qingyu was too weak to speak, and only shook his head. He had already taken so much medicine, but it was no use at all.
"Yu-ge'er! My wife said that the doctors here are very skilled in treating men's illnesses, so let's go and have another check-up, be good!"
Ji Yuan gently persuaded him, then scooped up another spoonful and held it to his lips.
Ji Qingyu nodded gently. He felt a sharp, cutting pain in his stomach again, and he didn't know where the warm feeling from before had gone.
"Does it hurt again?"
Seeing the cold sweat reappearing on Ji Qingyu's forehead, Ji Yuan put down the bowl with concern.
"My lady! Could you..." he pleaded, looking at Su Qinghe.
Although he didn't know why it would get better after a few touches, he felt it couldn't be that simple.
"He's already eaten about half a bowl, so I won't feed him the rest. You can clean up the bowl and go to rest. I'll stay with him tonight!"
After Su Qinghe finished speaking, she put her hand back on it.
It seems this will have to continue.
"Then I'll have to trouble you, my lady!" Ji Yuan bowed slightly, took the bowl, and went out.
He knew that staying here wouldn't help; only his wife could alleviate Yu Ge'er's pain.
...
Su Qinghe lay beside Ji Qingyu with her eyes closed, gently rubbing his stomach with one hand.
She kept switching her hands, and when she stopped to rest, it was less than fifteen minutes before Ji Qingyu would curl up in pain again.
It was nearly midnight when Su Qinghe drifted off to sleep.
Ji Qingyu was in a daze, only to feel the warm current in his abdomen gradually disappear and his stomach aching slightly. He frowned and scooted forward, trying to regain that warmth.
Su Qinghe was startled awake by him and looked down at Ji Qingyu, who had already snuggled into her arms.
“Brother…” the person in his arms uttered a painful groan.
He was still arching forward.
Su Qinghe, who was already lying on her side on the edge of the bed with nowhere to retreat:
"..."
She reluctantly got up, moved the person further inside, and placed her hand on it again.
"Hmm..." Ji Qingyu was awakened by the sudden movement. He opened his eyes in a daze and saw Su Qinghe's magnified face.
"Ah! You!" He was startled and quickly moved back, leaving a large empty space between them.
"What are you doing in my room?!" he asked, bewildered.
"It's all because someone's stomach hurts and they've been holding onto my hand the whole time!" Su Qinghe raised her hand and yawned, looking straight at him.
"What?"
The pain in her stomach was still so clear, and Ji Qingyu felt somewhat dazed.
Was that comfortable feeling in my stomach just now a dream?
"Are you coming over or not? If you're not coming, I'm going to sleep. Don't cry if your stomach hurts later!"
Su Qinghe patted the empty seat next to her and raised an eyebrow at him.
The pain in her abdomen grew stronger and stronger. Ji Qingyu bit her lip, still missing the comfortable feeling from before.
He slowly climbed back up, but there was still a line separating him from Su Qinghe.
Su Qinghe chuckled softly.
"What an awkward man!"
She grumbled to herself, then placed her hand on it again.
"Hmm!"
Ji Qingyu's body stiffened, but the comfortable feeling in his abdomen made him involuntarily let out a soft murmur.
Su Qinghe's hand kept circling around on it, causing Ji Qingyu to twist her waist from time to time.
It's so itchy...
But it feels so good...
"Su Qinghe..." He wanted to tell her not to move.
"Why don't you call me 'wife' anymore?" Su Qinghe asked lazily.
She remembered exactly what he had shouted during the day.
Ji Qingyu froze.
“…That’s because Zhao Xin was there!” he explained in a low voice.
"So what? You, a man, can just call a woman 'master'?"
"Using me as a shield will come at a price!"
Su Qinghe spoke softly, then pulled Rang into her arms.
"!"
Ji Qingyu shuddered, her head hitting Su Qinghe's chest.
The soft touch stunned him for a moment.
"what you do!"
He frantically tried to distance himself from her, but there was no space between him and Su Qinghe. If he tried to back away, he would bump into her chest or stomach.
This left him at a loss.
Su Qinghe withdrew her hand from his stomach and looked down at him.
"Let me go!" Ji Qingyu glared at her, embarrassed and angry.
Su Qinghe didn't move and waited for about fifteen minutes until Ji Qingyu curled up in pain again.
"Does it hurt? Call me 'Mistress' and I'll help you!"
Su Qinghe held his waist tightly, tempting him.
