Chapter 59 Stop Pretending

"Great! Great! Hahaha! My dear sister, I agree on An Ge's behalf! You have to reserve a big room for us all!"

Before Qin Ange could speak, Qin Anmin's loud laughter came from behind him.

"Sister!" Qin Ange cried out in a panic, hiding the whip behind her back.

"Sister Qin!"

Seeing Qin Anmin approaching, Su Qinghe greeted him with a faint smile.

Qin Anmin strode up to the two men, his hearty laughter never ceasing.

"I like this thank-you gift. You don't know, I've had to ask people to book private rooms several times, but they're all sold out. Your restaurant has been open for more than two months, and I haven't even tried it yet!"

“Rooms are in high demand at your place right now. If my colleagues knew I had a private room at Shili Xiang, they'd be green with envy, hahaha…”

Qin Anmin seemed to see the envious expressions on those people's faces right now, and he smiled very smugly.

"Why didn't you just come to me if you wanted to have dinner, Sister Qin? If I had known you wanted to come, I would have definitely made room for you at the table. You've been waiting for so long for nothing!"

Su Qinghe asked in surprise.

She hadn't noticed that Qin Anmin had sent someone to book a private room. She was surprised that this seemingly carefree person was actually so polite to her.

Qin Anmin pulled her to the shelf next to the martial arts field.

"Isn't it because there are just too many people at your place? I'm also afraid I'll get addicted, so it's not good to keep asking you to give me special treatment."

"But now that's settled, since you brought it up yourself, I won't hold back! Hehe!"

As Qin Anmin spoke, he picked out a red-tasseled spear from the shelf, tested its weight, and nodded in satisfaction.

"Does my sister know how to use any of these weapons?"

She turned to look at Su Qinghe.

Su Qinghe was about to shake her head and say that she didn't know how, after all, she had used this as an excuse at the last dinner.

Qin Anmin, however, beat her to it.

"Hey, don't tell me you can't do anything. Lord Li told me everything. She said you're really good at kung fu!"

She glanced at Su Qinghe sideways, giving her a "stop pretending" look.

"...I'm sorry, that day..."

Su Qinghe's face stiffened, and she gave an awkward smile. Although she could tell from Qin Anmin's expression that she wasn't angry, she still couldn't help feeling a little guilty.
