Chapter 99 Unwilling

Seven Killings Pavilion, branch hall.

Looking at the men in black kneeling below the stage, Qiu Han smashed a teacup on the ground.

"You slut! You whore!"

Her face was contorted with rage, her chest heaving violently, and she rushed forward and lifted the person up.

"What are you all doing? Don't you know he's the man I've set my sights on? Why didn't you stop them when you saw them going in to do their business!"

"Am I keeping you around just to eat?"

With a final roar, she slapped the man away.

"What are you doing! What kind of behavior is this?!"

Just as Qiu Shan reached the door, a figure flew out from inside.

Fearing that the person might fall outside and become a laughingstock, she kicked the person still hanging in the air back inside.

"Mother, Mother, what brings you here?"

Upon seeing Qiu Shan enter, Qiu Han straightened his disheveled robes and went forward to greet him.

"I just got the letter and knew you were going to go crazy, so I came to check on you."

Qiu Shan kept a cold face, giving his daughter, who was all brawn and no brains, no kind look whatsoever.

"Mother, I was just angry for a moment. I will definitely be more careful next time."

Having just learned that the man she had her eye on had slept with another woman, and now being reprimanded in front of her, Qiu Han's expression was not good.

"Hmph! You spineless coward, just a man. Once you control the entire Seven Kill Pavilion, you can have any man you want!"

Seeing her gloomy face, Qiu Shan waved his sleeve and strode to the table.

“He was originally the biggest threat in the cabinet, but we kept him around because you really liked him.”

"Since he's already corrupt, he can forget about being the husband of the Qiu family. He should just go out there and kill that wild woman he found, so as not to cause trouble when he comes back!"

With a flourish of her pen, she wrote a long and flowing piece on the letter paper.

"Go and spread the word, instructing everyone in the vicinity of Tianhe County to take action."

Looking at the letter being handed to him, Qiu Han clenched his fist but did not reach out to take it.

"What? You still can't bear to part with it?"

Seeing the struggling look on her face, Qiu Shan's eyes widened.

Qiu Han gritted his teeth. That person had always had a cold face since he was a child, and he had never seen him smile at him.

Whenever she thinks of him, she wants to pin him down and watch him cry and beg for mercy.

Thinking of Ling Feng's cold face, and then of the fact that he might already be under another woman, showing the way he wanted to be, Qiu Han gritted his teeth, his heart filled with resentment.

“Mother, Ling Feng has taken over many affairs within the pavilion, and some intelligence networks that only the pavilion master knew about have probably also reached him. It would be a real pity to kill him like this.”

"Why don't we spare his life and wait until we bring him back, then get the exact location out of him before killing him?"

After saying this, Qiu Han looked at Qiu Shan with hopeful eyes, still hoping to have the opportunity to taste Ling Feng's flavor.

Qiu Shan stared at her for a long time, then suddenly burst into laughter.

"Hahaha, it's rare that you could think of that. It seems that man isn't completely useless; at least he can make you use your brain!"

Qiu Shan, in a very good mood, took a sip of tea and burned the letter in the charcoal brazier next to him.

"If that's the case, then keep him. If you can really get something out of him, even if he can't be your husband, he can still be your bed warmer!"

Upon hearing Qiu Shan say that they could keep the person in the future, Qiu Han was overjoyed and quickly nodded in agreement. He took the letter that she had rewritten and instructed someone to send it out.

After the two finished discussing the specific matters, they turned their attention to the man in black who had been kicked and seriously injured.

Seeing that she was badly injured, he simply told her to go back and rest, while he sent another group of people over.

Qiu Han frowned as he watched the person who had received the order leave.

"Mother, even Ling Feng is no match for that woman. How can they kill her with just these few people?"

"Don't worry, I wrote them a letter asking them to go to the pharmacy to get some strong sleeping pills. With that, that woman won't be able to cause any trouble."

Qiu Shan was feeling smug, enjoying the comfort of her strategic planning, when someone rushed in from outside. She looked up and saw that it was the leader of the group from before.

"what happens?"

The pleasant atmosphere was ruined, and she frowned, her face full of displeasure.

"Reporting to Your Excellency, I just went to the pharmacy to get medicine, but Your Excellency said they were out of potent sleeping potions."

"What?" Upon hearing her words, Qiu Shan's breath hitched, and he stood up from his chair.

"A batch was just submitted yesterday, how come it's all gone today?"

She walked out the door with a sullen face.

"I'll go there myself."

Pharmacy.

"Bai Yin, what do you mean? There's a whole row of them here, and you're telling me there aren't any?"

Looking at the row of white jade bottles neatly arranged on the shelf, with the words "Special Effect Drug" in large black characters on a red background, Qiu Shan's face turned as black as the bottom of a pot.

This bullying has become so blatant; does he think she's blind?

Looking at the gloomy hills, Bai Yin picked up her ear with her little finger.

"What did you just say, Elder Qiu? I didn't hear you clearly! Oh dear, being a few years older than you really makes a difference; my hearing is starting to fail!"

He feigned regret, but inwardly he scoffed at the man.

"Ha! It doesn't matter if Elder Bai can't hear me. After all, he's already half-buried, so I won't hold it against him."

Even knowing he was deliberately making things difficult, Qiu Shan remained unfazed, his eyes scanning the surroundings as he loudly proclaimed:

"There are so many young people in this hall, their hearing should still be good enough! If they were all so young and their hearing was failing, the Seven Kill Pavilion would probably not be able to accommodate them all."

After she finished speaking with a smile, the people around her who had been watching the commotion instantly became busy, each finding something to do.

"snort!"

With a cold snort, Qiu Shan flicked her sleeves and waved her hand. The people who came with her then began to take bottles from the shelf.

"ah!"

The moment their hands touched the bottle, one of them let out a scream.

"Ah! My hand!"

The man raised his hand and screamed in agony, and the bottle fell to the ground with a clatter.

Everyone looked at her and saw that one of her hands was raised high, and her entire palm and wrist were covered in a dirty purple stain.

"ah?"

Seeing her in such a terrible state, the people who were not far from the bottle quickly withdrew their hands and retreated in horror.

The bottle shattered, and although there was no wind in the room, the people running around inevitably stirred up some dust. Those who were nearby immediately began to sway from side to side, and soon collapsed to the ground.

"Smoke! Those nearby, don't move! Those far away, step back!"

Seeing that things were not going well, Qiu Shan shouted loudly and retreated several meters away.

Once those nearby had fallen to the ground and she was certain there was no longer any threat, she turned and glared angrily at Bai Yin.

"Bai Yin, how dare you poison the disciples of the Pavilion! I must go to the Pavilion Master and let all the elders judge this matter together!"

Enraged, she was about to grab the person.

"Lord Qiu, please calm down. This matter has nothing to do with my grandfather."
