Deep Love

Deep Love

It turns out that Sheng Ruoxin and Qi Zhinian's marriage was a marriage between two families. The former fell in love at first sight and was deeply devoted to her, while the latter had someone else in her heart and was forced to separate. Qi Zhinian, however, never told the truth and responded to Sheng Ruoxin's love in a perfunctory manner, deceiving her for several generations.

The year Qi Wuchen's grandfather passed away, Sheng Ruoxin, who accidentally came across that intimate photo, received Qi Zhinian's request for divorce.

She looked nothing like Yun Min in the photo, but Sheng Ruoxin knew that none of the tenderness and affection Qi Zhinian had shown her during those twelve years belonged to her.

In the end, Sheng Ruoxin took her two children back to the Wen family without hesitation, and sent the divorce agreement to Qi Zhinian the next morning.

At the time, the two of them were responsible for the Qi and Wen families' businesses respectively. After they separated, they were busy with their own things and had nothing to do with each other. That kind of life lasted for four years, and it finally changed when Sheng Ruoxin committed suicide by jumping off a building.

Wen Shuyu, who had originally abandoned his responsibilities, took over the Wen family again and, in accordance with Sheng Ruoshen's will, sent the young children Qi Chiyue and Qi Wuchen back to the Qi family. Her only daughter wrote in a letter that these two children must have both fatherly and motherly love.

Fortunately, although Qi Zhinian was ruthless towards Sheng Ruoxin, he never mistreat the two children. After Yun Ren and Qi Zhinian reconciled, he also treated the two children as his own, doing his best to cherish "the children left behind by Sheng Ruoxin's death due to illness."

Qi Wuchen first overheard the conversation between Qi Zhinian and Wen Shuyu when he was sixteen years old, and finally heard about his parents' love-hate entanglement from Qi Chiyue.

From then on, it became normal for Qi Wuchen to avoid answering and turning a blind eye to Qi Zhinian, so that his subsequent avoidance was also within everyone's expectations.

The day he brought Ling Jianghan back was the first time Qi Wuchen had argued with Qi Zhinian since he knew about the past. Now, Qi Zhinian took the initiative to approach him to negotiate peace while also trying to persuade him to cut his losses.

"I deliberately placed the photo on the desk so I could divorce your mother." Qi Zhinian answered his question expressionlessly, without a trace of guilt in his tone. "Your mother and I didn't part ways amicably back then, but that doesn't stop me from using my role as a father to remind you—even if your mother were still alive, she wouldn't agree to this."

"Qi Zhinian," Qi Wuchen said with an ambiguous smile, his eyes already tinged with red. "You don't understand her and you don't love her, so what gives you the right to say 'no' for her? Based on the divorce agreement she signed before she died, or the wedding ring she threw into the river before she died?"

Qi Zhinian seemed to be genuinely shocked by these words. He stared into Qi Wuchen's eyes and did not respond for a long time.

"Dad," Qi Wuchen didn't intend to wait for Qi Zhinian's answer. He stood up and continued, "I'm not here to wait for your approval today. Sister has her own job now, and I can leave you alone for a long time. In the next few months, let's each prepare to part ways amicably."

Qi Wuchen turned around and left after he finished speaking.

"Mistaken Dust!"

Qi Zhinian's voice rarely sounded anxious, but Qi Wuchen ignored it and walked out of the coffee shop without looking back.

When he returned home, no one was at home. Qi Wuchen was about to take out his cell phone to call Ling Jianghan when the door behind him suddenly opened.

He turned around and saw Ling Jianghan carrying the ingredients in both hands: "Why didn't you just ask me to bring it back?"

The phone rang twice as soon as he put it back in his pocket. Qi Wuchen ignored it and just wanted to go upstairs to get the vegetables so that Ling Jianghan could change his shoes.

"I'm worried you haven't finished your work." Ling Jianghan glanced at Qi Wuchen in the kitchen after entering the house, then lowered his head and swiped his phone and said nonchalantly, "Aunt Cheng won't be back until the afternoon, so you can make lunch."

After putting his things away, Qi Wuchen turned around and looked at him, and asked hesitantly, "Shall I do it?"

"Hmm?" Ling Jianghan looked up at him for a moment before realizing, "Oh, I forgot you're a young master who's never had to do housework. You feed the cat, I'll come over later."

Qi Wuchen leaned against the refrigerator without moving: "Ling Jianghan, who are you looking down on? I can cook, okay?"

"You can?" Jiang Han looked at him in disbelief.

"What can't I do?" Qi Wuchen said as he started washing the vegetables. As he washed, he explained, "When I was little, my grandmother said that if I couldn't cook, I wouldn't find a partner, so my sister and I can cook a little bit of everything."

Ling Jianghan walked in and rested his chin on his shoulder: "So you learned to cook so you can fall in love?"

"No," Qi Wuchen skillfully picked the vegetables. Upon hearing this, he glanced at Ling Jianghan and said, "It's to prevent myself from starving to death."

"Really?" Ling Jianghan leaned his head against his neck, and the hot breath from his thin lips hit Qi Wuchen's ears directly: "Just to prevent yourself from starving?"

Qi Wuchen paused while picking vegetables, then turned his head away unhurriedly, calmly replying, "And by the way, I can give my future partner a treat."

Ling Jianghan smiled softly in his ear, put his arms around his neck and asked, "So what do you know?"

“…”

A seductive whisper, restless fingers. Qi Wuchen's movements completely stopped, and after a light breath, he reached out and grasped the two fingers on his Adam's apple. "Ling Jianghan, why didn't I realize you were this kind of person before?"

"What kind of person?" Ling Jianghan pinched his hand and asked with a smile.

Qi Wuchen felt that if he said it out loud, he would probably get beaten up, so he lowered his eyes and stared at the other person: "What do you think?"

Jiang Han loosened his hand and put some distance between them. Just as he raised his smiling eyes, Qi Wuchen's kiss fell on him without any warning.

When the kiss reached its deepest point, Jiang Han's back was already against the wall behind him.

Qi Wuchen's hands covered Jiang Han's back of the head and strong waist respectively, and the hand on his waist was as restless as ever.

Jiang Han wanted to grab the restless hand, but just as he stretched out his hand, another bony hand grabbed it and pinned it firmly against the wall.

"Don't……"

As their lips and tongues tangled, Jiang Han finally managed to seize a moment to speak. But before he could even begin to speak, the rest of his words turned into a short, muffled groan.

But the culprit pretended to be deaf at this moment, and the hand on his waist pinched him twice, not too hard or too lightly, before pulling his lips away a little and whispering, "What are you talking about?"

"you……"

Qi Wuchen knew what he was going to curse, and posted it again before he could finish it.

Ling Jiang Han's right arm was draped around his neck, and his bony hand twisted Qi Wuchen's neck at some point.

This time, the other party understood his dissatisfaction, and the lips covering his waist were no longer so fierce, and the hands on his waist were no longer mischievous.

As his movements became increasingly gentle, Jiang Han's hand, which was pressed against the wall, stopped struggling, and the hand around his neck tightened slightly, and he began to respond to him slowly.

Qi Wuchen knew that he never ate like he did, so he let him control the pace.

Halfway through the kiss, Qi Wuchen felt something grabbing his left leg. He opened his eyes and glanced down, and saw Chuyi clinging to his leg.

Qi Chuchen didn't want to care about it at first, but the little guy waved his two claws and dug hard, forcing Qi Chuchen to muster up the courage to kick it to the side.

Chuyi cried a few times to show his dissatisfaction, and Jiang Han pushed Qi Wuchen away a little after hearing the sound, and rarely frowned at the cat on the ground.

He was about to start scolding the cat when Qi Wuchen asked first, "Didn't you feed it cat food?"

Jiang Han was silent for a moment before clearing his throat and speaking: "...You go and feed me, I need some water."

Qi Wuchen responded with a smile.

The phone in his pocket kept ringing while he was feeding the cat. Qi Wuchen took out his phone and unlocked it. There were twelve unread messages on it, half from his sister and half from his grandmother.

He first clicked on the message sent by Wen Shuyu, which contained a photo and a video.

The photo shows Ling Jianghan and an old lady. Ling Jianghan is holding a large bundle of cardboard boxes in his right hand, and his left hand seems to be reaching for the travel bag that the old lady has placed at her feet.

This photo captured most of Ling Jianghan's face, and the boy's facial features looked even more handsome and three-dimensional in the slanting sunlight.

Qi Wuchen stared at the photo for a while, then raised his finger and swiped to the left, and the video behind it came into view.

In the video, Ling Jianghan was carrying a heavy travel bag, and he and the white-haired old lady left a trace of their backs walking away in front of the camera.

The video was short, and after Qi Wuchen finished watching it, he clicked on Wen Shuyu's message: [Is this the boy you mentioned to me last time?]

[He should be a year younger than you, right? He's so handsome. Why don't you bring him to me someday?]

[Why aren't you talking? Aren't you up yet at this hour?]

{Missed call}

“…” Qi Wuchen exited and opened the chat with Qi Chiyue.

[Guess who I met, brat?!]

【video】

[You never thought I'd meet the person you wanted to date but couldn't this weekend!]

[Are you envious and jealous? Don't be sad, you'll see each other every day from now on.]

[Why aren't you replying to me? Are you secretly crying in bed?]

【Hello?】

After another message from Qi Chiyue popped up, Qi Wuchen immediately stood up and took a photo of Ling Jianghan's back, and clicked send without hesitation.

Ling Jianghan hadn't changed his clothes after returning. He was sure that Qi Chiyue would be able to tell who the person in the photo was even without wearing cosmetic contact lenses.

After the photo was sent successfully, Qi Wuchen turned his phone to silent mode and threw it on the sofa beside him.

He hadn't walked a few steps when he suddenly remembered something. He went back to his phone and quickly typed: [Sorry, we've been living together for a long time.]

After clicking send, Qi Wuchen returned to the kitchen contentedly.

He said he could cook, so Jiang Han really didn't go into the kitchen to help.

Even after he had served the cooked dishes, Ling Jianghan, who was leaning against the wall, was still bent over with his long legs, talking on the phone. Only after he had put the dishes away did Ling Jianghan hang up the phone and pull out a chair to sit down.

"Who have you been talking to on the phone for so long?" Qi Wuchen pulled out a chair and sat down opposite him.

"The principal of Yishan Primary School." Ling Jianghan took a rare photo of the food on the table with his phone. After putting the phone down, he picked up the chopsticks beside the bowl and said, "Ask me when I can go to Yishan later."

Qi Wuchen paused for a moment after hearing this: "Are you going?"

"Well, go check there for them." Ling Jianghan picked up a piece of fish and put it into Qi Wuchen's bowl.

Qi Wuchen knew who "they" he was talking about, and subconsciously said, "I'll accompany you."

Ling Jianghan neither agreed nor refused, and didn't seem to take Yishan's matter to heart: "We'll talk about this later. I don't know when I'll go."

Qi Wuchen was about to say something when the phone next to him suddenly started vibrating. He picked it up and saw that it was a voice message from his sister.

"You little bastard, you actually...!"

Qi Wuchen instinctively felt that this was not a good thing to say, so he cut it off halfway through.

Then he clicked on the second one: "I was wondering why you suddenly wanted to..."

Qi Wuchen deleted the message and decisively converted the next one into text: "I've been trying to figure out how to help you pursue someone, but you've already made up your mind to fall in love with me!"

Qi Wuchenxin said that this man's words were all lewd and vicious, and immediately locked Qi Chiyue in a small dark room.

Ling Jianghan, who was standing next to him, could clearly hear that Qi Chiyue was angry, and asked curiously, "What happened to your sister?"

Qi Wuchen's face was expressionless, but the silence in his eyes could not be hidden: "Nothing, I accidentally broke one of her lipsticks a while ago, and I just confessed to her yesterday that I transferred the money."

As soon as he finished speaking, a call from Wen Shuyu popped up at the top of the screen.

Qi Wuchen hesitated for a moment before finally answering the phone. Before he could even call out "Grandma," Qi Chiyue's voice suddenly exploded in the air: "You're a dog, aren't you, Qi Wuchen! How dare you..."

Qi Wuchen held the phone away expressionlessly. Qi Chiyue's voice on the other side instantly disappeared, replaced by Wen Shuyu's: "Stinky boy, when did you tell yourself that you like..."

Qi Wuchen immediately turned off the hands-free function, raised his hand to put the phone to his ear, and did not forget to glance at Ling Jianghan opposite him.

Ling Jianghan was scooping pork rib soup with a spoon without even raising his eyes.

Qi Wuchen breathed a sigh of relief and automatically skipped Wen Shuyu's question: "Grandma, where did my sister take you to play again?"

"How dare you ask?" Wen Shuyu didn't answer but asked, "Do you think he's as cruel as you? He doesn't even come back to see me on weekends!"

"I'm at school all day long, so how can I be as idle as her who works?" Qi Wuchen argued cunningly, but his eyes never left Ling Jianghan.

The other person took a sip of soup and went into the kitchen with the bowl. Qi Wuchen saw with his own eyes that Ling Jianghan put a spoonful of salt into the bowl.

"Stop talking nonsense to me," Wen Shuyu said, then lowered her voice and asked, "Where's the boy you live with?"

"It's next to me." Qi Wuchen also scooped some soup for himself and replied lazily while Ling Jianghan was still not out of the kitchen.

While he was drinking his soup, he heard Wen Shuyu ask, "How old is he? Is he the same age as you?"

"Grandma," Qi Wuchen looked at Ling Jianghan sitting down across from him, feeling somewhat helpless. "Didn't you say we'd talk about it after the college entrance exam? Why are you asking these questions now?"

Upon hearing this, Ling Jiang Han glanced at him, then drank the soup calmly.

It seemed as if he didn't really care who he was talking to on the phone.

"What's wrong with asking you a few questions?" Wen Shuyu's voice continued to ring in his ears: "I heard from your sister that you brought someone to the Qi family?"

"Yeah." He was slapped by his father.

Wen Shuyu snorted softly, "So you didn't even bring him here to let me see him. What? Are you trying to isolate me?"

Qi Wuchen wanted to explain: "I didn't..."

"Then bring the person to me next Friday."

Qi Wuchen: “…”

He stared at the plate of untouched shrimp on the table in silence for a moment, and finally replied, "Let's talk about it next week."

"Let's talk about it next week?" Qi Wuchen picked up a shrimp and prepared to peel it. Wen Shuyu's questioning voice came from the phone between his ear and shoulder: "Could it be that you haven't caught up with the girl yet and can't bring her back?"

Qi Wuchen paused while peeling shrimp: "...Grandma, can I come back to you after dinner?"

By the time he hung up, he had just finished peeling the shrimp. Qi Wuchen dipped the shrimp in soy sauce and placed it in Ling Jianghan's bowl, then pulled out a piece of paper and reached for the phone to his ear.

After putting the phone back on the table, Qi Wuchen continued to peel the shrimp, leaving Jiang Han chewing the shrimp while looking at him, wondering what he was thinking.

Qi Wuchen smiled and met his gaze, which made Jiang Han say nothing, but his ears turned visibly red.

Who are you trying to seduce? You smile so beautifully.

Qi Wuchen finished washing the dishes and went to answer the phone again, which made Jiang Han feel pretty good. He picked up the phone on the table and posted a message on his Moments.

Have a nice weekend. 【Picture】

The accompanying picture was the table of food he had just photographed. Not many people liked it. Cheng Yan, who had just prayed at Mingyue Temple, was the first to like it. The second was a name Jiang Han had not seen for a long time - He Minggao.

After Ling Jianghan exited the interface, he turned off his phone and picked up the cat toy on the coffee table.

The man and the cat hadn't been playing for long when Jiang Han, squatting on the ground, felt a warm sensation against his back. He paused as Qi Wuchen's voice rang out in his ears, "Play with me too?"

Ling Jianghan ignored the question and just glanced at him sideways before continuing to play with Chuyi, "Have you finished your call?"

"Yeah." Qi Wuchen responded, leaning slightly and raising his hand to pull Jiang Han's chin towards him.

Jiang Han's expression was extremely rare to go blank for a moment when Qi Wuchen came close to him, as if he didn't expect Qi Wuchen to kiss him without any warning.

Fortunately, the two had kissed many times in their previous life, so Jiang Han quickly started to respond to her.

This posture was not very friendly to Jiang Han's neck, so he stretched out his right hand and placed it on Qi Wuchen's neck, and leaned slightly into Qi Wuchen's arms.

Ling Jianghan still had the habit of not wanting to stand up after a kiss, so Qi Wuchen decisively picked him up sideways as he approached. The cat toy in Ling Jianghan's left hand gradually slipped and, by chance, fell on Chuyi.

The two of them were locked in another passionate embrace on the sofa. During the struggle, Jiang Han vaguely felt Chuyi's tail brushing against his calves, but he ignored it. His hands, pressing against Qi Wuchen's back, became increasingly thinner and longer as he exerted more force.

When the sound of a door opening was heard from the entrance, Jiang Han pushed it twice before pushing away the person on him.

"Jiang Han, do you have a cold?" Cheng Yan picked up Chu Yi, who had been circling at her feet since she entered the room. She looked at Ling Jiang Han, who was sitting on the sofa, bent over and coughing, with a worried look on her face. "Do you want to take some cold medicine?"

Jiang Han was coughing and unable to speak, so Qi Wuchen patted his back and said with a smile: "Auntie Cheng, don't worry, he just choked."

Cheng Yan glanced at the empty water cup on the coffee table and said after a long silence, "Drink slowly. No one is competing with you for it."

After she finished speaking, she pressed the restless Chuyi in her arms, lowered her head and stared at it with some surprise: "Chuyi, what's wrong with you today? You miss me so much after not seeing me for a while?"

"I don't know." Qi Wuchen stared at Chu Yi, who was showing her teeth and claws, and smiled. He stretched out his hand to take the cat from her: "Give it to me, otherwise it will accidentally catch you."

"Okay." Cheng Yan said as she handed the cat in her arms over.

Unexpectedly, after Qi Wuchen took Chuyi over, Chuyi started to beat and kick him, as if he wanted to fight to the death with the person who was holding him.

This was the first time Cheng Yan saw it like this, and she didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "What is this for?"

"You must be hungry." Qi Wuchen made a blind guess.

Jiang Han, who had recovered at some point, stared at him indifferently, almost writing curse words on his face.

Why are you hungry? It's obvious that you want to help your master deal with you, the bastard who refused to let go when he heard the noise.
