Chapter 112 Madman

"Sister is so pretty, even prettier than Sister Yue'er."

"You said something bad, I'm going to tell Sister Yue'er!"

"Then I'll ignore you!"

“…”

The children started arguing with each other and soon forgot about Xiang Sheng and rushed to Wang Yueer's residence.

Just as Xiang Sheng was about to leave, she saw a little girl with pigtails standing at her feet, looking at her with bright eyes. "Sister, can you accompany me to listen to the story? I don't dare to go alone."

Xiang Sheng didn't know where to go to relax, so he happily agreed when he heard this.

The guesthouse where Xiang Sheng lived was very close to the village entrance. He was led by the girl and had not walked far when he saw the big tree that the girl had mentioned.

This tree is obviously old. Its shade is like a canopy and it is lush and green. Even before getting close, you can smell a fresh and pure breeze from afar.

It has become a spirit.

When this thought came to Xiang Sheng's mind, he inexplicably thought of the huge tree roots in his dream that were dozens of people wide.

"drink!"

Suddenly there was a loud shout, startling Xiang Sheng back to his thoughts.

She looked closely and saw an old man with disheveled hair squatting at the roots of a tree, muttering something to them.

Sword madman?

Xiang Sheng thought of what Wang Tuo had said that year and narrowed her eyes. She looked down and saw the little girl looking at her, her face filled with fear and anticipation. "The stories that Crazy Grandpa tells are really fun, but they're scary. My mom won't let me talk to him."

Xiang Sheng pinched the little girl's hand and pulled her closer to the tree roots.

Crazy Sword was originally talking in a low voice, but when he saw someone coming, he immediately stopped talking. His cloudy old eyes stared straight at Xiang Sheng, his pupils dark and extremely creepy.

The girl was so scared that her mouth pouted and she almost cried.

Xiang Sheng blocked the girl's sight and was about to bow, but Sword Crazy suddenly became excited, knelt on his knees without saying a word, and kowtowed several times.

“Master!”

Xiang Sheng was slightly startled and subconsciously pulled the girl back.

When Crazy Sword saw this, his eyes immediately turned red with grievance, "Master, do you really not want me anymore?"

Xiang Sheng immediately explained: "Senior, you have the wrong person."

Crazy Sword seemed not to hear these words. He stared straight at Xiang Sheng and kept admitting his mistakes: "Master, I was wrong. Please don't abandon me. Master, I shouldn't have disobeyed you, Master..."

Xiang Sheng frowned, not knowing what to do when his clothes were gently pulled again.

"Sister, crazy grandpa is sick again. He can't hear anything you say."

The little girl poked her head out from behind. There was no fear in her eyes anymore. Instead, there was anticipation: "It will be fine in a while. When the crazy grandpa wakes up, he will tell me stories."

Xiang Sheng felt relieved after hearing this, and he pulled the girl to sit aside.

Sure enough, not long after, the Sword Crazy's muttering gradually slowed down and finally stopped.

He slowly stood up and saw Xiang Sheng and the other man waiting on the side. He sighed and said, "Excuse me."

Xiang Sheng quickly stood up and bowed, "I am the junior who has come to visit you without permission. I beg your forgiveness, Senior."

"What's the point of forgiving sins?"

Crazy Sword smiled gently, brushed his messy black hair, and sat down at the stone table: "It's rare to see someone from the outside world come in here, and even chat with me. It's very good."

Crazy Sword was surprisingly easy to get along with, so Xiang Sheng relaxed and sat down.

The little girl climbed onto the stone bench and asked impatiently, "Crazy Grandpa, you haven't finished telling yesterday's story yet!"

"Why, do you still want to listen?"

Crazy Sword chuckled and stroked his graying beard. "This isn't a good story at all. If you cry after hearing the end, don't blame me."

"Don't blame me, crazy grandpa, just keep talking!"

The girl supported her chin with both hands, her eyes were as bright as the moon, and her tone was very sweet and innocent.

Crazy Swordsman looked helpless. "That disciple was arrogant and proud. He had been blessed with a chance by Heaven, so naturally he ignored Master's warnings. He then insisted on his own way and became obsessed with Heavenly Swordsmanship for hundreds of years, eventually reaching the state of great mastery. His swordsmanship skills have surpassed those of my senior brother, making him the best in the sect."

“Wow, that’s amazing!”

The girl's eyes lit up. "Since he's become so powerful, his master won't object, right?"

"No."

Crazy Sword shook his head and sighed softly: "Master, expel him from the sect."

"Why?"

The girl looked confused and asked, "Master, your disciple is like this, and you still don't like him?"

"I felt very aggrieved, but what happened later proved that everything the master did was right."

Crazy Sword lowered his eyes to hide his emotions, then smiled again and said, "Come back here tomorrow, and I'll tell you the rest of the story."

"What? You're gone after just two sentences, you crazy grandpa! You're going too far!"

The girl was so angry that tears welled up in her eyes. "My mom was right. You are a big bad guy! I will never come here again!"

After saying that, the girl ran away without looking back.
