Chapter 141 Getting Started

Two hours later, the disciples of Wanjianmen arrived one after another.

Lin Hai immediately summoned his flying sword and threw it into the air. The sword instantly grew ten times its size in the wind. He then turned around and said, "Madam, please come up. We have something urgent to report to the sect immediately, so we won't rest."

Luo Qingyun hugged Xiang Sheng tightly and walked onto the flying sword, finding a place in the middle to sit down.

Lin Hai cast a shield of true energy to protect the two of them, and then warned: "Madam, sit down!"

Luo Qingyun nodded, and Lin Hai no longer hesitated. With a light shout, the flying sword soared into the sky from under his feet.

The disciples of Wanjianmen immediately followed him on their swords and disappeared into the dark night sky in the blink of an eye.

After a night, the east was already bright.

The first rays of dawn in the early morning shone from the sky, illuminating the vast mountains and rivers of Wanjianmen.

Surrounded by mountains, thousands of them are competing for beauty, and continuous pavilions and towers are dotted in the lush mountains. Surrounded by clouds and mist, you can vaguely see cranes flying through the mountains. It can be said to be a fairy-like atmosphere.

Xiang Sheng sat on the flying sword and looked down, his face full of amazement, which made Luo Qingyun laugh inwardly.

Although the blessed land of Wanjianmen is good, it is still far behind the five major sects.

She thought so, but she didn't know that Xiang Sheng had the same idea.

Ying Changfeng said that Wanjianmen was a small sect with fewer disciples and only established a sect in a place that could barely be called a sacred mountain. Now it seems that the situation has improved a lot.

However, it is still far from the Chiyan Sect of the past.

The mother and son each commented on it in their hearts, but on the surface they both pretended to be surprised and ignorant, so that the disciples of Wanjianmen could not see any flaws.

The flying sword passed through several mountains and finally landed on the top of the most majestic mountain, stopping on a flat stone surface.

As soon as Fang landed, the elders from the sect came rushing over.

The man who came was an old man in a Taoist robe with white hair and beard. Seeing that the team had no casualties, he immediately breathed a sigh of relief and approached, asking, "Did you gain anything this time?"

Before Lin Hai could speak, someone couldn't help but say, "Fifth Uncle, this time we not only gained something, but a lot!"

"oh?"

The old man in Taoist robes glanced behind Lin Hai and finally landed on Xiang Sheng, his face slightly pleased: "Found another good seedling?"

"Fifth Uncle, I want to take her to see the headmaster in person."

Lin Hai glanced at Xiang Sheng and said, "This child's talent is not much worse than Jian Jue's. He must be nurtured well."

"Comparable to Jian Jue?"

The old man in Taoist robes was greatly encouraged. "You go and settle down first, I will go tell Changfeng!"

After saying this, the old man in Taoist robe left in a hurry without saying another word.

"Fifth Uncle is still so impatient..."

Someone in the team laughed. Lin Hai shook his head and turned to Luo Qingyun and said, "Madam, I will arrange a place for you to live first. I will make arrangements for Xiao Sheng'er after I find a good teacher."

Luo Qingyun had no objection and nodded politely, "Thank you, Immortal Lin."

"No problem."

Lin Hai smiled kindly and said, "Follow me."

Although this blessed land is not big, it seems a bit empty compared to the Wanjian Sect. After Xiang Sheng was beaten up, there were not many people on the road.

Luo Qingyun seemed to be equally confused and couldn't help but ask, "Lin Shangxian, your sect doesn't seem to have many disciples?"

Lin Hai was speechless and said, "Madam, you can't see many people because most of our disciples are out clearing out the demons that are causing chaos, and they haven't returned yet."

Luo Qingyun nodded suddenly.

It has been thirty years since the Diyin Demons invaded Dongzhou. During the past ten years, she has lived relatively peacefully in the village. It turns out that it was not because of good luck, but because of the Wanjian Sect's unremitting protection.

Luo Qingyun knew that the more she talked, the more mistakes she would make, so she stopped talking and followed Lin Hai forward silently.

After crossing a moon-shaped bridge between two peaks, the three of them arrived at a lower peak. Xiang Sheng finally saw that there were more people around, including many children of her age, who were following the accomplished young men and chattering non-stop, making the place quite lively.

"Big Brother is here!"

Someone shouted, and suddenly a large group of young disciples gathered around, looking at Lin Hai with a hint of admiration.

"Everyone, go and practice properly. Why are you standing here watching the fun? Don't you want to go down the mountain and slay demons and monsters sooner?"

Lin Hai scolded with a commanding look that made the teenagers scatter quickly like mice seeing a cat. Only a few ignorant and young ones remained, curiously looking at Xiang Sheng behind Lin Hai.

Xiang Sheng's gaze was not on these children. Her eyes passed through the crowd and fell on an expressionless young man in black standing under a tree not far away.

The young man was like a sharp blade that didn't know how to restrain its edge. He stood straight as a sword under the tree, and his pair of dark and bright eyes were sharp and determined.

Xiang Sheng looked at the young man, as if seeing himself trapped in the Chiyan Sect and madly honing his swordsmanship.

She is a good candidate for sword training, and is fortunate enough to be admitted to a sect that specializes in sword training. Her luck is more than a hundred times better than hers back then.

She felt emotional and quickly looked away.

The young man seemed to have realized something and came back to his senses from his thoughts. He frowned and turned around to look. Seeing that it was his eldest senior brother, he showed a little respect, but was puzzled in his heart.

The feeling just now didn't seem to be brought by my senior brother.

His gaze continued to wander over Luo Qingyun and Xiang Sheng, but he ultimately found nothing, so he had no choice but to give up and continue to close his eyes to ponder matters of cultivation.

Lin Hai naturally noticed the boy's gaze, but he didn't care. His junior brother was nice to others, but he was a loner and didn't like to talk much. He had long been accustomed to it.

A moment later, Lin Hai led Luo Qingyun and her son to a small courtyard and stopped. He said, "This is Yunlong Peak, specially designed for younger disciples. This courtyard is very close to the dining hall at the foot of the mountain, making it convenient for eating. The courtyard is often cleaned by sword servants. Madam, you can just stay here with Xiao Sheng'er. Someone will bring you clothes later."
