Rescue
Gu Youan stood at a distance, holding a mechanical umbrella. Flames soared into the sky, and the air was filled with the smell of burning. She frowned and covered her nose.
Jiannan looked at the firelight not far away and sighed softly, "General Ye guards the western border, but his family has come to such an end."
Gu Youan pursed her lips. "Since someone is willing to kill Ye Qingchen, then we'll proceed according to plan."
The cries of agony filled the air. Gu Youan turned her head away, unable to bear looking at this hell on earth. Jian Nan stood in front of her, saying, "This is the fate of the Ye family. His Majesty is suspicious of the Ye family. You and I can only save Ye Qingchen."
She didn't dare to raise her head, and Jiannan gently covered her ears. "I know you're heartbroken, but you're an assassin for the Emperor's Creed, you can't let your emotions get the better of you."

In the original novel, Ye Qingchen is a character with a tragic and beautiful life. His ability to seduce Gu Youan with impunity is also due to his intention to use Xie Daoqing to expose the truth behind the massacre of the Ye family.

No matter what kind of harm Ye Qingchen had suffered or what kind of tragic past he had, none of that was a reason for Ye Qingchen to hurt her. Her first confrontation with the original character had begun.
Jiannan placed a small medicine bottle in her hand, and Gu Youan looked at him in confusion, "What's this for?"

Ye Qingchen stared intently at her, "Are you going to kill me or save me!"

She silently watched him, covering his eyes with her left hand and gently pressing the acupoint below his ribs with her right. Ye Qingchen coughed up blood. Gu Youan looked at the bloodstains on the ground and said, "I will send you to the Princess's residence. She will protect you."
Ye Qingchen pulled down Gu Youan's hand, blood still in his mouth, and said, "Why did you cripple my skills?"
Gu Youan looked at him calmly, "Only a member of the Ye family who poses no threat can put people at ease."
Ye Qingchen looked up at the darkness, raindrops falling on his face, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth down to his throat. He sighed, "My Ye family will not perish."
Gu Youan had imagined different scenarios, but when she stood before Ye Qingchen, everything seemed so calm. Gu Youan recklessly destroyed Ye Qingchen's heart meridian, rendering him unable to cultivate internal energy in the future.
Blood spread, and Ye Qingchen collapsed in front of her. Jian Nan stepped forward and wiped the blood from her hands. "You still have a soft heart."
Gu Youan withdrew his hand. "Keeping him alive could cause great trouble in the future. The Ye family was wiped out, and General Ye, who is in the Western Region, will have a hard time surviving."

A swordsman landed lightly on the ground. "Are you a member of the Emperor's Ship?"

She thrust her longsword straight at the swordsman, who nimbly turned 180 degrees in front of Gu Youan, his toes barely touching the ground.
"Are you a woman?"

Gu Youan parried with his sword, the two blades making a crisp sound. The two grappled together, and with a turn, Gu Youan plunged his sword into his right shoulder.
She looked at him defiantly, "Don't get angry. My sword is poisoned; it will sever all your meridians."
She chuckled, pulled out a dagger, and plunged it into her left shoulder. She chuckled softly, "Don't try to struggle; you're no match for me."
With both hands she drew her sword and dagger, and looked at the kneeling swordsman. "No matter who you are, the Ye family is wiped out today. Don't look for Ye Qingchen. He is the person the Princess wants to save."
The swordsman looked at the wound on his shoulder and sneered, "I didn't expect that everyone would be involved in the Ye family's affairs. It seems that the Emperor's Ship is not a peaceful place either."
Gu Youan ignored his sarcasm and said, "You should leave. It will be dawn soon."
After daybreak, government officials will come in to investigate, and the incident will soon be classified as an accident. Everyone who remained at the scene will be a suspect, and Gu Youan did not want to get too involved with him.
She needed to go to the Princess's residence and meet with Jiannan as soon as possible.
The swordsman chuckled, "Do you think you can leave?"
A gust of wind swept through the forest, causing her skirt and hair to flutter in the wind. Gu Youan caught a fallen leaf in her hand.
She looked down at him. "Do you think I'm stupid? That these few people can stop me?"
Her lightness skill was even more effective than his poison; she moved away as quickly as if she were riding on wheels of fire.
Only her mocking voice echoed in the wind; the rain fell all night, leaving only ruins.
As dawn broke, the government was searching everywhere for assassins. Gu Youan changed into women's clothing and stood outside the pine and bamboo forest, her hair styled in two buns.
Gu Youan was dressed in a light green dress, as if she had blended into the mountains and fields. Rain fell on her oil-paper umbrella, and through the rain, she watched Jiannan walk towards her step by step.
"After killing people all night, I thought you would be exhausted from your journey, but I didn't expect you to come back before me."
Gu Youan smiled gently, "I didn't kill them, I just ran away."
She was no match for them, so she couldn't confront them head-on. Warfare is all about deception!
"Could they see your face?"
Gu Youan shook her head. "Ye Qingchen can enter the Princess's residence now."
Jiannan stroked her hair, "Your face looks gentler when you wear women's clothes."
Gu Youan shook off his hand. "Do you want to be one of the Twelve Messengers?"
Jiannan was silent for a moment. They all knew what Gu Youan was asking. Becoming one of the Twelve Messengers meant facing real slaughter.
“You can do it if you want to, Xuanji. You’re not someone to be trifled with.” Jiannan pinched her cheek. “I believe you can do it.”
They stood outside the mountain for a long time. Gu Youan looked down at him and asked, "You won't regret it once you go back?"
