The correct way to wash a female ghost's hair

The correct way to wash a female ghost's hair

The dinner hadn't been going on for long when another headache struck.

The argument came from Nan Yehe's right front, about one or two tables away, so it was hard to miss.

"Are you really not some kind of script generator?" Taking advantage of everyone's attention being on that side, Nan Yehechao Xujiu made a sarcastic remark.

What kind of luck allowed her to encounter so many bizarre things in a row?

Xu Jiu gave a mysterious smile. "Let's just watch the show."

"Please delete the photos," a slightly plump woman said to the others. "Delete them now."

Nan Yehe frowned and picked up a piece of meat.

"Hey, an old acquaintance, isn't this Chen Ni?" Xu Jiu rested his chin on his hand and turned his head to look over there. "Why is Manager Chen out here now instead of keeping her artist out of the limelight?"

Nan Yehe had never been very knowledgeable about these things. "An artist?"

"You didn't know? It was all over the news a while ago, giving me a headache. Their artists were 'exiled' to a diplomatic mission, and their diplomatic partners were brought down. These artists' value plummeted, and the company was 'coincidentally' investigated and found to be involved in money laundering." Xu Jiu widened his smile, looking extremely gloating.

One accident may be an accident, but multiple accidents happening together are not necessarily so.

"You're so happy about something illegal?" Nan Yehe scooped up a few spoonfuls of soup and picked up the bowl.

She was always very perceptive, and her abilities were amplified after being deceived by Xu Jiu. So, judging from the other side's behavior, she knew that this matter was 100% related to her.

Xu Jiu waved his free hand and uttered only a word whose meaning was unclear.

“Those who are pure will themselves be cleansed.”

"Cough, cough, cough cough..." Nan Yehe was caught off guard by the sudden attack and choked, her face turning red.

Her outburst was so sudden, coming right after the two sides had finished negotiating and the atmosphere had calmed down, that it was completely noticed.

Just as Xu Jiu was about to marvel at her undiminished personal charm, she suddenly realized that the protagonist she was talking about had already come to their side.

"Did you take pictures too? If so, please delete them." The woman named Chen Ni seemed to sized up Nan Yehe, and her attitude softened a bit.

Still as snobbish and annoying as ever, Xu Jiu looked at Chen Ni, curled his lip, and his standard disdainful face almost made Nan Yehe choke again.

Her trachea was still a little sore, and Nan Yehe was too lazy to speak. She covered her throat with her right hand and casually pointed to the phone placed in the upper left corner with her left hand, indicating that she hadn't taken any pictures.

Her expression now held a fierce look born of pain, and Chen Ni, too embarrassed to speak further, smiled and said "excuse me" before turning and going back.

Not long after Chen Ni returned, she prepared to leave with the female companion wearing a hat on the other side. After all, too many people would cause more trouble if they stayed any longer.

As Chen Ni passed Nan Yehe's table, she smiled apologetically. The tall, fair-skinned woman behind her turned her head and glanced at her. Nan Yehe couldn't see her expression, but she noticed that the woman seemed to quicken her pace.

After watching the two walk away, Nan Yehe turned around, ready to continue drinking her soup, only to find an eerie silence falling across from her.

She looked over in confusion and saw that Xu Jiu's brows were furrowed and his hands were pushing against the table, as if he was about to leave at any moment.

Before she could speak, Xu Jiu raised the question himself.

“We followed, and the person behind us was Ding Jingyi. She made eye contact with me…”

Will those who are murdered but survived remain, allowing those who have had conflicts with them to see them?

This is a question, but Nan Yehe can be certain that she and Xu Jiu have no grudge against each other, because they didn't know each other at all before.

This should ensure that I won't be followed all night.

"Luckily, I won the university racing cup championship." Nan Yehe parked the car on the side of the road and smirked.

"Your university is really open-minded, even having these kinds of competitions for people who have nothing better to do," Xu Jiu said with a smile.

Nan Yehe rubbed his temples. "Take a look at this distance. If we go any further, it might cause trouble."

They are now outside Ding Jingyi's apartment; if they go any further, they might really be flirting with the edge of illegality.

"I'll go see her alone and test the distance while I'm at it." Xu Jiu quickly got out of the car and flew away without any further discussion.

"We're already this far away?" Nan Yehe asked, somewhat surprised.

But I can't control a flying ghost, so whatever.

She took out her phone, intending to kill some time, when she suddenly heard someone knocking on her car window.

Nan Yehe rolled down the car window, looked up, and saw a man wearing a black baseball cap.

Hmm, another baseball cap.

"You're finally here. Hurry up, there's a vacancy."

? ? ?

Nan Yehe looked at him, completely bewildered.

"You just arrived, right? Why didn't you bring your things? What's wrong with you? Why are all newcomers like this? Hurry up and come with me."

If confusion had a color, it would definitely be Nan Yehe's current expression.

Before she could even refuse, the man had already opened the car door for her.

"Quickly, let's forget about today and go up first."

The man was pulling her, but his grip was relatively loose, and Nan Yehe easily broke free.

"Hey, what's wrong with you, newbie? What about professional conduct? You forgot your things, fine, but now you're wasting time here!" The man was getting angry too. "You don't want to work here anymore? If you don't want to work here, then quit tomorrow. Don't mess things up today. Li Xuran is coming back soon, and if you keep dragging this out, you'll miss the best time for filming!"

He didn't seem to want to lecture anyone here, and his voice was very low, but Nan Yehe roughly understood what he was supposed to do.

Even someone like me who doesn't follow the film and television industry much knows that Li Xuran is very popular. Back in high school, everyone was a fan of her dramas. Now she may be transitioning to a different career path and doesn't appear in the public eye as often anymore.

By revealing this identity, Nan Yehe naturally knew what the other party was up to, but being dragged by a strange man in the middle of the night... she still had to refuse.

"I'm sorry, I'm not..."

"If our Boss Xu were here, you wouldn't even have a chance to get this job. That bastard Tang Xuan, he's always up to no good." The man cursed viciously, then looked up at her. "What are you not?"

Nan Yehe suddenly chuckled for no apparent reason, her tone natural and generous.

"I didn't do it on purpose, and the car wasn't locked. I'll be right there."

She quickly locked the car, turned around, and followed the man.

All the way, she kept thinking about what the man had just said.

Regardless of the others, she heard the name Boss Xu. The man's accent was very standard, so there was no doubt that it was the surname Xu.

There's only one prominent family surnamed Xu in this city. The Xu family owner of Xusheng is so busy he's been to the hospital; he hasn't even resolved his company's issues yet, so he certainly doesn't have time for this. So, the remaining Xu family owner…

Nan Yehe didn't know how much Xu Jiu was hiding from her, but one thing she was certain of was that there were some crucial things he hadn't told her yet.

If she wasn't told, she wasn't told. She can find out for herself now.

Nan Yehe stepped inside. The room was empty except for photography equipment, and a man was looking out the window with binoculars.

"How much time do we have left?" the man leading the way asked, picking up a DSLR camera and looking at the person by the window.

"Almost there, the car's at the door, we can get ready now." The person by the window didn't turn around, still observing the outside.

The man leading the way nodded and handed the things in his hand to Nan Yehe, "Go and keep watch in the bathroom of that bedroom. Take pictures as soon as someone comes, and don't let anything go wrong."

Nan Yehe calmly took it, nodded seriously, and turned to find the bedroom.

This was the first time she had ever done something so incredibly stupid—impersonating a paparazzi? Nan Yehe wanted to go home and sleep, but the die was cast, and she couldn't possibly run away with the plane.

Xu Jiu was truly her calamity.

Without any psychological pressure, Nan Yehe shifted the blame to Xu Jiu.

She found the bathroom in the bedroom, where stools were already set up and a camera was also mounted.

Stepping onto a stool, Nan Yehe observed the scene within her field of vision for a while, then turned on her DSLR and video camera, ready to get started.

He spent the whole night flirting with the edge of illegality; in a sense, people in this line of work have pretty good mental fortitude.

Nan Yehe chuckled to herself for a moment, when suddenly the man who had led the way came in a low voice from the doorway.

"You've already come over and are getting ready."

Nan Yehe didn't even turn her head, calmly raising her hand to give an OK sign.

I really don't know where I got the confidence to stay calm.

As people appeared on the path below, Nan Yehe quickly and steadily took a photo, but at this height, only their heads could be seen. Nan Yehe estimated that she would have to continue later.

Sure enough, about five minutes later, the lights on the seventh floor of the building across the street came on. From this vantage point, I could only capture a glimpse of the lights, so I had to wait a while longer.

A few more boring minutes passed, then there was movement in the bedroom. Nan Yehe started to make her move. The woman across the room, dressed in a sexy and revealing outfit, walked to the window, glanced outside, and drew the curtains.

Li Xuran also started out as a pure and innocent young actress. Although she has kept a low profile in the past two years, these photos are probably still quite surprising for her young fans.

Nan Yehe didn't understand why Xu Jiu wanted to do this. She had money, ability, and background; she could achieve any ideal she wanted. Doing this was not like her style.

Is that why she didn't want to tell me her true identity? Not necessarily.

Nan Yehe wasn't some hot-blooded young person who hadn't even graduated yet; she could analyze that this wasn't something a simple paparazzi studio could pull off.

First, the houses here aren't cheap. The man leading the way had studied Li Xuran's schedule, indicating they'd been staking out the place for at least ten days, meaning the rent alone would be exorbitant. Second, all that photography equipment couldn't possibly be rented. The DSLR she had was already a top-of-the-line camera, and that was only part of what she could see.

Another point is that even at night, her car is clearly visible from where she parked. This car is the one Nanfengting recently lost a bet to her and drove for three months. Although she doesn't know the price, it certainly wouldn't be cheap. The man who led the way not only came directly to her, but also mistook her for someone else without any doubt, which means that the cars he usually sees are probably no worse than these.

From the perspective of a studio, such a configuration is indeed a bit extravagant. The first two can be said to be for the purpose of making the work more efficient, but the latter is really unnecessary. Would Xu Jiu really adopt such obviously inefficient work results?

Nan Yehe had doubts.
