Chapter 1 I'm so sick I'm vomiting
Xia Yunduan vomited.
It all started with a pregnancy test stick. Her sister-in-law gave it to her and explained it with a triumphant air.
"I'm pregnant with my brother's child."
She rushed into the toilet without any time to react and vomited all her dinner until she could vomit nothing. She could still feel the acid in her stomach, and she vomited out every struggle and pain she had experienced in the past five years of marriage.
When she turned around and staggered out of the bathroom, her husband had returned without her knowing.
The sister-in-law standing next to her stared at her with an ugly face. The sister-in-law also blushed, and her innocent little face was full of embarrassment and grievance of being humiliated.
"Sister-in-law, my brother and I are not related by blood..."
"I don't care if you're related by blood or not, or if you're actually ****ing each other or not." Xia Yunduan's fingers, gripping the wall with such force that they turned white, uttered the word "divorce" in a trembling voice.
She looked at her beloved husband and took a deep breath.
"Ning Haoyu, we're getting a divorce. Let's go and complete the paperwork right now."
"Yun Duan," the handsome man looked at her gravely, "I can't divorce you."
Xia Yunduan almost laughed out loud.
"Why?" She took two unsteady steps forward, her eyes filled with sharp sarcasm and disgust. "You cheated on me with your sister, and she's pregnant with your child. Why don't you divorce me?"
"Because I still love you," the man replied calmly, "Qianqian's child is a complete accident. I won't let her give birth to it. If you don't want to see her, I can send her abroad."
Ning Qianqian screamed and rushed over to hug his arms, crying bitterly.
"Brother! You can't do this! This is our child, how can you be so cruel to him?" Then she threw herself at Xia Yunduan's feet, crying and begging, "Sister-in-law, sister-in-law, I know I was wrong. I won't come to hinder you, but I beg you to give my child a chance to live, or I can give him to you for adoption after I give birth. Sister-in-law, you have been childless for five years, I will give the child to you to raise. I may not want him, but I beg you to give him a chance to be born! Sister-in-law, I beg you!"
Xia Yunduan took a few steps back like a poisonous snake. The woman fell to the ground and cried bitterly. Her white dress outlined her slender figure, making her look even weaker and more pitiful.
Xia Yunduan saw Ning Haoyu's eyes move as if he was interested, and he was almost speechless for a moment.
She suppressed her nausea, picked up the key from the table and walked out.
This Ning residence where I have lived for five years, and these two people who were once familiar and close to me, seemed so unfamiliar at this moment as if I had never been there or seen them before.
The moment she stepped out of the door, she left a message.
"Either we meet at the Civil Affairs Bureau tomorrow, or I'll wait for you at the court."
Xia Yunduan walked out of the Ning residence and drove away a Maserati parked in front of the door.
The daylight was just right, but she felt oppressed by alternating hot and cold sensations in the car, just like Ning Haoyu's attitude towards her, hot and cold, close and distant.
She had always thought that she was warming up a noble and pure iceberg, but she didn't expect that it was actually a lustful and cold-blooded venomous snake.
Her fingers gripping the steering wheel were almost cramping, and her teeth were clenched so tightly that they made a clicking sound.
She finally parked the car on the side of the road, stumbled out of the car and spat out a mouthful of sour water.
While vomiting, she finally let out a broken scream with tears in her eyes.
However, the next moment she heard the harsh sound of tires rubbing against the ground. She looked up and saw through her tearful eyes a familiar commercial vehicle rushing towards her at a terrifying speed, roaring like a beast.
At the moment she took off, she only had time to see two familiar faces behind the car window.
A face that had just been lying at her feet, begging her to let it go.
The other face just said to her, I love you.
