Chapter 1116 Exchange Room
The team left the hall and continued walking inside, occasionally stepping on some glass fragments on the way.
Song Boru collected samples with sealed bags along the way, perhaps ashes, or residues left after burning.
As I walked along, I realized that although this experimental building only has two floors, it actually covers a large area.
After the hall they walked down a long, dark corridor.
There are symmetrical, tightly closed doors along the walls on both sides of the passage, and there are no other windows on the walls. Just looking at it makes people feel depressed.
"There should be laboratories inside."
Tuesday looked at Ye Ku inquiringly,
"Boss, are we going in?"
"Do you know exactly where that thing is?"
Ye Ku smiled and replied,
"Of course I have to go in."
So they began a cycle of opening the doors one by one, going in, searching, and then coming out empty-handed.
The team was very quiet throughout the whole process, and everyone looked very tense. Before entering the door, they held their weapons tightly and looked alert as if some terrible zombies would jump out at any time. After coming out, they carefully closed the door and did not look relaxed at all.
Until they entered a room again, Lin Dong, who had been following Ye Ku closely, suddenly paused.
She stopped at the door. Zhou Er, who was walking behind her, finally stopped the car and frowned and asked,
"What's wrong? Are you tired from walking?"
Ye Ku turned around.
But the girl didn't say anything and didn't look at him.
She scanned the room slowly.
It's like the robot is scanning a set diagram, from the walls to the test benches, to some very small arrangements, leaving no place untouched.
Ye Ku looked at her, raised his hand to stop Zhou Er from interrupting, and asked patiently in a low voice,
"What's wrong?"
Lin Dong didn't say anything and walked into the laboratory.
Her steps were very slow.
It was like some animal was carefully testing a trap.
This was clearly the room she had left.
But for some reason, the layout inside was completely different from when she left. She even felt that this was not the place she left at all - but in terms of location, this was that room.
Lin Dong slowly walked to the place where the petri dishes were supposed to be placed. Now there was a laboratory table there, the kind that was built into the ground and could not be moved.
Her memory couldn't be wrong, so the only thing wrong must be the location of the two rooms.
Why?
How on earth could one swap the positions of the two rooms in one day?
Winter stood there and looked up. Those who had not yet entered the door walked in one by one.
Zhou Er, Fang Si, Awen, Rong Zan, and the strange man in the third car...
Dim light streamed through the corridor behind them, casting shadows of people into the girl's dark pupils.
Her gaze remained fixed.
In less than a second, her pupils suddenly trembled very slightly.
“Don’t come in!”
The moment the girl blurted out the words, the entire room suddenly trembled violently and descended. The man who had just stepped through the doorway missed his step but turned around very nimbly, grabbing the suddenly raised entrance and quickly rushed up, leaving behind a surprised cry.
"What the hell is going on!"
"Go up!"
Ye Ku made a prompt decision and immediately ran out while giving orders. Before that, Zhou Er and others who had already come in had already turned around and ran away.
"What the hell! Is this whole room full of traps?!"
