Chapter 1434 Late Night Visitor
Imperial capital.
The streamlined body of the black car reflected the bustling lights of the city, breaking through the bizarre night and stopping silently at the gate of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
The bodyguard wearing gloves got out of the passenger seat to open the door, and walked out of the car in a pair of Italian handmade leather shoes, stepping on the cold black ground.
The man was wearing a black three-piece suit, which was specially customized by a craftsman from a high-end clothing store on the Champs-Elysées. From the fabric to the tailoring, everything fit his tall and straight figure. The tie clip, cufflinks, and the handkerchief exposed like a petal on his chest all represented the man's taste in an extremely arrogant way.
They are representatives of a class that is far away from the ordinary people, intimidating and almost inhuman.
The man stood in front of the car, looking up slightly at the silent and majestic building.
His gaze penetrated the darkness and fixed coldly on the scale emblem hanging on the building, representing justice and fairness.
No one disturbed him.
The bodyguard in black stood behind him, head lowered in silence.
He stared at the badge for a long time, and finally a smile appeared in his dark brown eyes in the dark night, a sarcastic, indifferent, and cold smile as sharp as a needle.
But it was only a brief moment, and the sense of danger disappeared from his eyes. The next moment, he walked towards the stairs, while putting his left hand into his suit trouser pocket, and with the other hand he casually adjusted his bow tie, which was not at all wrong.
Like any proud and unyielding nobleman, he walked up the stairs, his bodyguards following him like silent shadows until they reached the gate of the Imperial Supreme Procuratorate.
Someone received them silently, without even saying a word, and began to lead the way for them with his head slightly lowered.
Passing through the wide hall, the dark garden, and the entrance to the corridor at the corner, they turned into a long, winding passage.
At some point, cameras with red lights appeared on both sides of the passage.
The man paused slightly, and raised his beautifully shaped eyebrows.
"Ready to monitor me?"
The leader stiffened and turned around.
"This is the rule of the procuratorate. The cameras here are never turned off."
The man didn't speak, a leisurely and indifferent smile appeared on his thin lips. He stayed there and never walked into the range of the surveillance camera.
"Really? But I'm not used to exposing myself to any surveillance equipment. Can you take me to another route without surveillance?"
Although it was a question, there was no intention of negotiation in his tone.
The guide was stiff for a while, and finally walked to the side to make a phone call. After a short conversation, all the cameras in the entire passage went off.
The guide came back, wiped the sweat from his head, made an inviting gesture, and the man walked in with a faint smile.

It was a very old interrogation room. The lights were even covered with dust. It looked like it had not been used for a long time, but for some reason it was turned on again tonight.
The gray-haired old man in prison clothes sat upright on a chair, with shackles on his wrists and ankles.
There was a dark tint under his eyes and his face was pale, like the withered and wrinkled bark of an old tree. He looked extremely miserable, but there was still a calm light in his cloudy eyes.
Even when he was imprisoned, he still seemed to be the low-key and wise person he appeared to be.
Until leisurely and orderly footsteps were heard outside the interrogation room.
He looked up and saw a dark shadow moving forward on the ground outside the door.
Then he raised his gaze and saw a familiar face in the dim shadows.
