Chapter 1438: The So-called Nothingness

Chapter 1438: The So-called Nothingness

Chu Yan retracted his foot and squatted down beside the old man.

He looked at Su Cheng for a moment with a smile on his face, then suddenly took out his cell phone and took a few photos of him, then put them in front of the old man with great interest.

"Come, take a look, Mr. Su. I didn't expect you to look like this, did you?"

The old man's cloudy eyes were half-open in a trance, but it was enough to see himself clearly on the screen, with shoe prints on his face, a dislocated jaw, and saliva and dust mixed on his face.

He roared incoherently, his words unclear, and only saliva kept flowing out.

Chu Yan chuckled and sighed,

"Look at Mr. Su, who used to be so dusty in the Presidential Palace that he had to be wiped ten times before entering or leaving, now is worse than a street beggar. At least beggars don't drool."

Chu Yan took out a folded handkerchief from his chest pocket and pretended to wipe Su Cheng's face, but he pulled his hand back halfway and said to himself,

"This is a limited edition Chanel. It would be embarrassing to give it to a beggar."

The old man glared at the man fiercely from the ground, his eyes filled with almost crazy resentment and anger.

But Chu Yan looked indifferent. In fact, the more the old man showed this expression, the happier he looked.

He stood up, picked up a chair, framed the old man between the chair legs, and sat down gracefully, completing this insulting act.

The old man raised his head and looked at the man who was standing beside him with his legs crossed, looking down at him from above. His whole body began to tremble violently, and his bloodless face began to become red with anger.

Chu Yan propped up his chin and looked at him, listening to his unclear and angry curses with saliva, and said indifferently,

"Shut up, you don't have to say anything from now on, just listen to me."

The air was still filled with the old man's indistinct voice, chattering like venom flowing out of a rotten branch.

But the next moment the sound was cut short by a loud slap.

Chu Yan leaned over, looking at the old man expressionlessly, and slapped him hard on the other half of his face, turning the face that had just been slapped in the other direction.

He looked down at the old man's stiff gaze and said expressionlessly,

"I told you to stop talking, old man."

"If you make any more noise, I'll slap you ten times. Do you understand?"

After a brief stiffness, Su Cheng's face turned even redder. He turned his head back and roared angrily at Chu Yan.

The moment the sound was heard, the slap came down without hesitation.

One, two, three times, mechanically, coldly and viciously.

It wasn't until half a minute later that the sound finally stopped.

Su Cheng's face was swollen from being slapped. He finally stopped making any sound and stared at Chu Yan with a terrifying and resentful look.

But the man withdrew his hand, and there was no fluctuation in his eyes.

"I'm actually very sorry that by the time I walked up to you, you had already become so old and useless. Otherwise, I would have had more ways to entertain you as a gift for meeting you again."

He stared at the old man at his feet, as if he was staring at an old poisonous snake that was nailed to the skin. His eyes were filled with cruelty and coldness, as if he wanted to peel off the man's skin and bones.

"When I used the account book to exchange Chu Yang for me in New York, and saw her first attack, I swore that I would make you feel the same way."

He looked down at the old man with an expressionless face and stepped on his chest, squeezing out a painful sound as unpleasant and hoarse as a broken bellows.

"It feels like wanting to cry but not being able to utter a word, wanting to kill but not having the strength, having no dignity at all, having to kneel at someone else's feet and lick the soles of their shoes, falling from heaven to hell, having nothing left."

Chu Yan laughed slowly and deeply, the light cast a cold shadow on his face.

"How is it, does it taste good?"
