Chapter 152 Movie Review

Chapter 152 Movie Review

In fact, the theater situation of Magical Girl is not very good, and the screening rate of the entire empire is less than 15%.

However, on the night of the premiere, the box office results announced by the relevant website were a terrifying 150 million!

This shows that with the limited screening schedule, the cinema is almost full for every show.

Some cities that were not optimistic about Magical Girl and therefore had very few screenings scheduled, after countless emergency arrangements and contacts overnight, managed to squeeze out a space in their originally scheduled films to show Magical Girl.

Soon, the popularity of magical girls began to spread across the empire.

The box office exceeded 300 million the next day, breaking the box office record for fantasy films in the entire empire.

Foreign films about magic and fantasy have always been superior. Ever since the box office debacle of the blockbuster The Duke of the Dead three years ago, there haven't been any major fantasy films in the empire. However, Magical Girls offers me hope for Eastern fantasy. From its setting, storyline, character development, to its deeper, thought-provoking themes, this film rivals any excellent Western fantasy. Of course, the greatest credit goes to the talented actors, who bring the characters to life, imbuing the previously ethereal souls with richness and reality, and making the story feel natural and captivating. As the original author said, I hope to see sequels, parts two and three, that are just as exciting, if not more so.

This is a review of the magical girl by a famous film critic on Douya Movie, which was praised as the most popular.

The second most popular title is a few words

【Only for Ni Huan, only talk about Shen Pianpian】

The poster is "Moonlight Wind" who is famous for his sharp and direct comments on Douya Movie.

I've seen a lot of great reviews of the film, all well-reasoned and detailed, so I'll just focus on the part that interests me the most and that I like the most. Just like the title, Ni Huan, Shen Pianpian.

I've read the original novel, and because I'm a beautiful woman myself (don't call me narcissistic), I'm always a bit hostile towards those who are more beautiful than me. So, from the moment I learned that newcomer Yan was playing Ni Huan, I was completely resistant. Whether it was because of my deep love for A Huan or because of the natural jealousy of women, I was full of critical thoughts when I entered the theater.

Then the movie started. In the first half, Ni Huan's performance was just average for me. She brought the sunny and cheerful Ah Huan to life. Why is it that she is only average when she can clearly say that she brought the role to life? Because I have seen so many excellent films both at home and abroad, it is difficult for me to rank highly praised films or actors. So this average performance is already a rare praise.

However, the reason why the actor Shen Pianpian went from being just average to someone I really liked and wanted to talk about in detail was in the second half of the drama where she turned evil.

In fact, her performance can't be called a darkening, it's just a natural transition. When she learned her true identity, when her terrible nightmare became a real past, when she was tangled in pain and saw the sword raised by her beloved, she naturally became what she later became. This is not a darkening, this is the original Ni Huan.

In the second half of the scene I just mentioned, Shen Pianpian's performance is really worth watching carefully frame by frame with a magnifying glass.

Every little movement, every micro-expression, and the most terrifying look that shocked me the most.

There are many close-ups of her eyes in the film, and I won't go into the plot to avoid spoilers. However, when her eyes appeared alone on the big screen, the first thing I noticed was not how beautiful they were, but how complex they were. Darkness, yearning for light, still loving, still hating, wanting to abandon oneself and fall into hell, wanting to stick to one's heart and remain kind - all of this was mixed into those dark eyes. Oh, and the most important and heartbreaking thing was innocence.

Don't ask me how I can see so many things in one pair of eyes. Go and see for yourself and you will understand.

Just based on a pair of eyes, Shen Pianpian is enough to rank in the top five actors in my mind.

Oh, someone has been sending me private messages these past few days asking me to write a review of the witch TV series. I'm sorry to reply here in a unified manner. I refuse to admit that the TV series is magical girl, especially after watching the movie.
