Chapter 1568 I Cried

Chapter 1568 I Cried

"Cheng Zhiyuan..."

She murmured something, then turned around somewhat uncontrollably and pushed open the closed doors one by one.

Entertainment room, study, movie room, and even bathroom.

There was no one in those rooms, but they all looked like they had just been used.

"Cheng Zhiyuan!"

She turned around and rushed downstairs, her eyes covered with a thin layer of mist without her knowing when. In her blurred vision, the flower pots at the corner of the stairs were tripped over and fell all over the stairs with a crackling sound. But Shen Pianpian did not stop for a moment. She stumbled downstairs over the turned-up soil and searched all the rooms on the first floor. Only then did she realize that there was a pot of soup cooking in the kitchen.

The girl's eyes were red under the light. She opened all the doors but still didn't see the man she was thinking about so much that she was going crazy.

Finally she ran straight to the backyard, across the hallway carpet, flung the door open and ran out.

There was a wooden floor under the eaves of the porch at the back of the house. The mud under the soles of her slippers made her slip the moment she stepped on it, causing her to stumble forward and fall down the stairs. However, she did not feel the pain or the cold grass.

She fell unexpectedly into a warm chest with open arms. The man hugged her and staggered back a few steps under the force, and finally fell down with her in his arms.

After a long silence, a light laugh came from above.

It was slightly hoarse, but it was like the wind blowing through the lights under the corridor in the night, slightly cool yet warm.

Shen Pianpian's eyes suddenly turned red.

She lay motionless in the arms of the man beneath her, her ears pressed tightly against his chest, greedily counting the steady and real heartbeats.

It was as if someone had placed a drum in her heart, and the heartbeat in the chest beneath her ear was the tiny drumstick, beating away all the unknown anxiety, pain, sadness and loneliness she had been feeling for so long.

One hand touched the back of her head, scratched her hair, and then hugged her tighter.

"It's been a year since we last met. Do you miss me?"

"What do you mean no see for a year?"

Shen Pianxian, furious, propped himself up on his chest, stared at him from above, and roared,

"I've been looking at you almost every day this year. You're the only one I haven't seen in a year. It's you who refuses to open your eyes!"

The man who came into view was still pale, but his eyes, which had been tightly closed for more than three hundred days, finally opened. In those eyes, as deep and vast as the deep sea, he reflected his own appearance very clearly, as well as a faint light.

This is a living, moving and talking Cheng Zhiyuan with eyes open.

Shen Pianpian stared at him straight and noticed that a few drops of water had appeared on the man's face.

She asked in a hoarse voice,

"Are you crying?"

The man in the sight was stunned for a long time, and then his eyes were filled with unspeakable heartache and self-blame.

He silently reached out and touched the girl's face, his hands were covered with tears, and after a while he whispered,

"I thought I would never make you cry in my life."

"sorry."

Shen Pianxian leaned over him and looked at him, saying with an expressionless persistence,

"You're the one crying."

The man's mouth corners slightly curved,

"Yes, I cried."

Shen Pianpian continued to look at him, her face still expressionless, but her eyes showed a completely different look.

It was as humid as a rainy day that refused to stop. Water droplets kept dripping down, falling on the man's face and eyes. It seemed as if the blood flowed straight into his heart along his skin, soaking his heart.
