"My business?"
Li Chi lowered his head and smiled lightly.
His fingers played with the rough tea bowl, yet he was as dignified as if he were playing with a priceless luminous cup. The light from outside the tea stall slanted in, passing through his dark long clothes, with a kind of icy indifference and a distant feeling from another world.
"I have nothing to do,"
He said in a calm tone,
"I'm just out here to enjoy the scenery. I'm just going wherever I want to go. I don't have any destination."
Then he raised his eyes to look at Xia Fuyi. There was a smile in his amber eyes, reflecting a faint light, but without any warmth, instead there was a sense of alienation that kept people at a distance.
"It's a good thing to meet you. At least I have a destination."
Li Chi picked up the tea bowl as if clinking a glass with wine, toasted Xia Fuyi with a bowl, and drank it with a smile.
Xia Fuyi stared at him blankly, and her hand under the table involuntarily clenched the amber stone hidden in her sleeve.
