After discussing the issue of the empress with the ministers in the hall for most of the day, the emperor couldn't help but show a bit of fatigue between his brows.

He put one hand behind his back and walked leisurely. Xia Fuyi struggled with her hands wrapped in the brocade belt and retreated uncomfortably as he moved forward.

"Why is there no maid to help you?"
"I'm not used to it."
Xia Fuyi still maintained her habit of being frugal with words, and closed her mouth tightly after she finished speaking.
The emperor nodded and said lightly,
"How long have you been wearing it yourself?"
The words "less than half an hour" immediately came to Xia Fuyi's mind, but she felt embarrassed, so she still kept her mouth shut and did not prepare to answer. She just secretly put her hands behind her back, ready to untie the tangled brocade belt.
But Changsun Chi did not stop. He moved forward step by step and finally pushed Xia Fuyi to the edge of the bed, making her sit down on the bed with a thud.

Xia Fuyi held her breath and her body stiffened until the man untied her and stepped back. Then she took a deep breath and choked herself.
Amidst the awkward coughing, Chang Sun Chi couldn't help but touch her hair with a smile.
"Are you that nervous?"
Xia Fuyi refused to speak and continued to cough.
Chang Sun Chi was not obsessed with the answer. He just pulled her up and began to undress her layer by layer.
"You don't have to wear these,"
He said calmly while lowering his eyes.
"In the palace, you can wear whatever you want without having to consider other people's opinions."
Xia Fuyi paused and said hesitantly,
"But it is said that the queen must wear a phoenix robe at the coronation ceremony."
Chang Sun Chi smiled, with a hint of tenderness in his smile.
"I've already prepared it for you. It won't be too complicated."
He touched the girl's hair again and was about to say something when he heard Lian Tang's voice coming from outside the door.
"Your Majesty, the Grand Tutor requests an audience."
Changsun Chi paused, and finally just told Xia Fuyi to eat on time, then turned and left.
