His short black hair was dyed with a layer of furry edges by the light. He looked young and handsome. His cold temperament was neutralized by a faint smile. On this hot summer night, he was as pleasing as a piece of cold jade soaked in water.
The man rubbed Shen Pianxian's dazed head with his hand. His technique was gentle and full of undisguised doting, and his voice was low.
"I came here because I heard you miss me."
"But I'm going back tomorrow."

Shen Pianpian was carried out of the car upright, in a child-like position.

"Something happened at the Yan family. I bought a ticket tonight to return to Yungang. Your things are packed. I've also bought your ticket for tomorrow. Remember to get up on time so you don't miss the plane."
