Chapter 2290 [Shangxie] No Antidote

Chapter 2290 [Shangxie] No Antidote

Half an hour later.

Changsun Qingzhao, who was standing on the stone platform, lowered his eyes and turned around. Mu Ningqing cast a questioning look at him. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly, but there was no smile in his eyes.

"The first enemy who broke through the sword tomb and razed half of the Tianji Sect, I must personally meet him to show my respect."

His timing was just perfect.

As soon as the man in brocade clothes stepped down the long white stone stairs, he saw someone slowly climbing up the steps at the end of the square.

The dawn light in the distance gradually dyed the horizon, soaked through the forest, and just reached the white stone steps, illuminating the bloodstains that continued to fall as Qingshan walked forward.

There were drops of blood falling from the tip of the sword, dripping from the soaked hem of the clothes, and dripping from the girl's drooping fingertips.

Her blue shirt was stained with blood, her long hair was disheveled, and the sword was mottled with red.

She walked slowly and it was obvious that she was seriously injured. She had been bleeding all the way, but she never stopped.

A road paved with blood and dawn.

She stopped at the foot of the stone steps in a disheveled state but with her back straight, and looked up at the man a few steps away.

Xia Fuyi swallowed the blood in her throat, and her pupils, which had completely turned golden, stared at the man steadily, and uttered four words dryly,

"Give me the antidote."

Changsun Qingzhao didn't say anything.

He looked at her quietly.

From the messy hair, to the bloodstained pale face, to the cut and tattered, red-stained clothes, and finally to the sword-holding, scarred hands.

Another drop of blood fell to the ground from the tip of the shiny sword.

Chang Sun Qingzhao turned his gaze back to her eyes and smiled suddenly.

"Xia Fuyi, I must have taught you many things after I picked you up, and the most important one is the word love."

"A foolish and ignorant person like you is not suitable to be sincere to anyone, because you will either hurt him or yourself."

Xia Fuyi didn't seem to have heard what he said at all.

She just looked up at Changsun Qingzhao and repeated it mechanically.

"Give me the antidote."

Changsun Qingzhao paused, and the corners of his mouth suddenly curled up even wider. This sudden smile inexplicably brought a kind of cruel joy.

Xia Fuyi's heart paused, and before she could think further, she heard the man say leisurely,

"It seems no one told you that the medicine Yimeng Huangliang was developed specifically for the Chiwei Emperor, Changsun Chi. And there is no antidote for this medicine made specifically for him."

He uttered the last few words clearly, one by one, with a hint of smile. When they fell into Xia Fuyi's ears, her eyes became empty for a moment.

For a moment, his sight seemed to lose its focus and fell into the void. His feet went weak and he stumbled, almost falling. He held on to Long Yuan and managed to stand firm.

She looked up at Changsun Qingzhao, her face turned even paler, and her voice was cold and hard.

"I don't believe it."

The smile on Changsun Qingzhao's lips gradually faded, and he looked down at her with a hint of indifference.

"Why don't you believe it? I was the one who gave him the drug, and Zhan Luoying made the medicine. You don't know anything about a dream, so why don't you believe it?"

Long Yuan was slowly laid across her body. Xia Fuyi stared at Changsun Qingzhao with a grim expression. She gripped the hilt of her sword so tightly that veins bulged. A cold murderous aura slowly seeped out of her body.

"Or give me the antidote."

Her tone was slow and low, and she finally squeezed out three angry words from between her teeth.

"Or die."
