Chapter 31 I Want It
Chen Hui looked furious. He pointed at Chen Pianpian and said sternly,
"Pack your things and get out of the country right now! I thought you were still young and would have to wait a while before going abroad, but I see you're getting more and more outrageous! If you continue to stay at home, I'm afraid you'll crawl over my head!"
Shen Pianxian raised her eyebrows calmly, but saw Shen Hui turned around and strode out of the room, went to the study next door, took out a document and threw it at her head.
"These are the admissions documents you requested! Pack your things and get out of here right now!"
This was not planned.
Shen Pianpian slowly and methodically put away the scattered documents while glancing at the contents inconspicuously.
Then she stood up on the bed, looking down at the woman who was still crying and Chen Hui who was comforting her while glaring at her.
Shen Pianxian smiled indifferently and arrogantly.
"From the day my mother died, from the day you brought this shameless mother and daughter into the Shen family, from the day you forgot my eighteenth birthday and made me come home to see the three of you having so much fun, you no longer have the right to interfere with my decisions."
"So you have no right to stop me from doing what I want to do."
She jumped out of bed in the midst of Shen Hui's shock and astonishment, she passed by Mrs. Shen and smiled softly.
"In order to monopolize this man, you and your daughter have gone to great lengths to exclude me, slander me, and attack me. I'm afraid you don't even realize how ugly your faces are. But now you can rest assured."
"Because I'm giving him up. I'm giving him to you."
The steps to walk out were interrupted by the gnashing roar behind him.
"Chen Pianxian! If you dare to step out of the Shen family's gate today, don't come back!"
Shen Pianpian stood barefoot on the carpet, the light from the sky outlining her slender yet straight back.
She smiled softly, her voice light and cheerful.
"I couldn't ask for more."

Shen Pianpian left without taking anything with him.
Chen Hui, however, kept staring at the desk calendar in a daze.
Yes, he had forgotten, his eighteenth-year-old coming-of-age ceremony, such an important day, but what did he do that day? He couldn't remember it clearly. He only remembered his wife and Ling Wei always around him, laughing and joking with him. That day, when he came back from dancing, he seemed to have scolded her?
When was the last time you celebrated her birthday?
It seemed like a long time had passed, and he couldn't even remember the wish she had made, nor the tone she had used when she had acted coquettishly to him.
Mrs. Shen saw that he was in a daze, her eyelids drooped, and she cried and fell into his arms.
"You'd better go and call Pian Pian back. Where else can she go without shoes and a car? Fathers and daughters don't hold grudges overnight. She said you're not qualified to be a father, so can you really just ignore her? What if she scolds me a few times?"
Seeing Chen Hui was silent, she said aggrievedly and sensibly,
"I just hope she won't treat Ling Wei the same way she treats me. After all, Ling Wei is with Young Master Cheng now. If he hears about it and gets upset, I'm afraid our family will be unhappy too."
Chen Hui immediately pulled himself out of those emotions. He shuddered when he heard his wife's words. Thinking of the legendary moody man, and then thinking of Shen Pianxian's outrageous insults, he immediately began to grit his teeth again.
"This girl is simply an evildoer who has come out to antagonize me! Let her get hurt outside and learn her lesson first!"
Mrs. Shen patted Shen Hui's back soothingly, and where he couldn't see, she gently raised the corner of her mouth.
