Chapter 347: Hair Loss

Chapter 347: Hair Loss

The night deepens.

In the Huo family's English-style mansion with a red brick pointed roof, the street lights were quietly on, and the grass and trees seemed hazy and blurred as if they were in deep sleep.

The separate guest room where the Ning brothers and sisters lived was not far from the main house, and seemed like an outsider's residence isolated from the central area.

Few people come here during the day, let alone at night.

The front yard, which had been in chaos due to Ning Qianqian's childbirth, was now very quiet. The two Roman lanterns were still brightly lit, and moths would occasionally flutter into the lampshades.

At this moment, a slender black shadow suddenly appeared silently in the night, crossed the corridor as quickly as a cat, and floated straight to the window at the back of the house.

As if she knew the structure of the house very clearly, the black shadow pried the window frame apart and slowly pulled it out from the gap in the middle, little by little. Her movements were very gentle, and there was no sound until the window was completely opened.

Then she stood there quietly for a while, as if listening to the noise inside, and quickly supported herself against the window, lightly kicked the ground with her long legs, and leaped lightly into the room.

The room was silent.

The furniture was shrouded in a dim shadow in the night.

The black shadow slowly moved towards the big bed, where even breathing could be heard.

Just as she was about to reach the bed, her footsteps suddenly felt strange. She immediately controlled the fall of her feet and looked down. It was a foot wearing men's leather shoes. Looking along the legs, she saw a man sitting on a chair beside the bed, sleeping soundly with his head lowered. His position was at the head of the bed, blocked by thick pleated curtains, so the dark shadow did not notice that there was another person here at first.

If she could speak, she would definitely be laughing at this moment.

Even though she couldn't make a sound, she curled the corners of her lips, her tone sharp and mocking.

Then she stepped over the man's legs that were across the bed and looked down at the woman sleeping on the bed.

The face could not be seen clearly in the darkness, only the vague outline of a pretty face, and it seemed that she was frowning slightly, while the woman's hands were unconsciously tightly protecting the small quilt beside her.

She was wrapped tightly in a thin quilt, revealing only a tiny face.

That's a newborn baby.

There were still even puffing sounds coming from his mouth, and he looked like he was sleeping soundly.

The black shadow looked at the baby indifferently for a while, then suddenly bent down slowly towards the baby. With slow and cautious movements, he pulled the quilt to reveal a little bit of the child's head.

A small tuft of soft lanugo hair came into view.

The black shadow reached out, slowly and carefully grabbed one, and tentatively pulled it lightly. The child moved slightly, and the black shadow stopped. Finally, she gave up and groped carefully in the quilt. In the end, she was very lucky and touched a few fallen baby hairs.

The movements were simple, but she had to keep watching the reactions of the two adults while doing it, and also be careful not to wake up the child, so by the time she finished, nearly ten minutes had passed.

The black shadow grabbed those strands of fetal hair, exhaled silently, stood up and put the hair into a small transparent bag.

Then she seemed to relax a lot, turned around and walked to the sleeping man, looking at him for a while with cold and emotionless eyes.

Then she bent down, reached out and grabbed a hair, and pulled it out quickly, forcefully and unceremoniously.

The hair arrived smoothly.

However, in this short period of time, the man in pain slowly opened his eyes.

Looking at her quietly in the dark night.

A dim light came in from outside the window. The face in front of me was facing away from the light, so I could only vaguely see the beautiful jawline and a pair of peach blossom eyes that sparkled like stars even in the dark night.

Then the man smiled slightly, put a few strands of hair into the bag in front of the man, and put it in his pocket.
