Chapter 4 Rebirth or Dream?
Xia Yunduan came out of the bathroom and saw the little girl who came over at the beginning was leaning against the door waiting for her.
She walked over slowly. The little girl stood up straight, crossed her arms and looked at her with a slightly unhappy tone.
"What's wrong with you? I told you not to drink with them. You'll be in trouble if they get upset."
Xia Yunduan pulled the corner of his mouth without saying anything, and whispered while holding his head with a look of excruciating pain,
"It's too uncomfortable. I have to go back first."
The little girl frowned and stared at her for a long time before she reached out and pulled her over, holding her on her shoulders and walked out.
"OK."
Faced with the crowd who were trying to persuade her to stay, the little girl glared back.
After following her out of the bar, Xia Yunduan immediately took a deep breath. The cool breeze also relaxed her tense and tangled brain a little.
The car lights came on, and she squinted her eyes to see a black Maybach.
The little girl put her in the back seat.
"You can't drive after drinking. I'll ask my driver to take you back and I'll bring your car to you tomorrow."
Xia Yunduan nodded, still without saying a word.
The car door was closed. Xia Yunduan looked at the shadow in the rearview mirror and stood there until it disappeared, then he closed his eyes.
She let out a long breath, pulled her phone out of her pocket, and pressed her fingerprint to unlock the screen.
She was dazed when she saw the date. November 8th, two months had passed since the last day in her memory, but those heart-wrenching and hateful things seemed to have happened just yesterday.
And… Xia Yunduan subconsciously pinched her fingertips. The warmth of that tear seemed to still linger there.
She turned her head to look out the window.
But is this still the world she is familiar with?
The Maybach stopped in front of a villa that looked very luxurious. She got out of the car slowly until the driver told her they had arrived.
She kept thinking about the possible situations and various ways to deal with them in her mind, and only went in when she had thought it through.
The hall looked like a family of three happily having a midnight snack. When she came in, only the handsome uncle in home clothes greeted her indifferently.
"I'm back."
She responded with a low "yes" and didn't dare to say another word, for fear that those who were familiar with the original owner would notice something.
The man was stunned when he got the response, but his expression became a little relieved and he said to her,
"There's a banquet at the Meng family in a couple of days, and you have to go," he said, taking another close look at his unnatural daughter, his expression turning grim again. "If you dare to go like this again, I'll freeze all your credit cards! You don't look like a lady from a wealthy family. Can you learn from your sister? You hang out with shady friends all day, like a little gangster! It's outrageous!"
The hostess dressed as a lady glanced at her calmly and began to stroke her hair.
"Alright, alright. Pianpian is in her rebellious phase. It's normal for her to act out of line. As her father, you should be more understanding."
When she said this, the man became even angrier and slammed the table.
"Rebellious period? Ling Wei has never been rebellious at this age! She keeps asking me to understand her, but how can she, as a daughter, not understand me as a father? Last time, she smashed the cake at her sister's birthday party and covered Miss Zhu in the face. I haven't settled the score with her yet! If it weren't for Ling Wei's good relationship with her, who knows how much more trouble this matter would have caused!" He pointed at Xia Yunduan angrily.
"I'm telling you, this Meng family banquet is very important. If you dare to do anything weird again, I'll kick you out!"
Xia Yunduan was confused inside, but she just glanced at them indifferently.
The host and hostess were one angry and one giving soft persuasion, while their daughter sat upright and elegantly eating. Her every move was gentle and graceful, and she was a model of a lady from a noble family.
She never glanced at me from beginning to end, and her indifferent attitude was full of unspoken contempt.
Xia Yunduan withdrew his gaze, made a preliminary assessment of the original owner's family, then walked upstairs without paying any attention, leaving the angry male voice behind.
When she went up to the second floor and was wondering which room to enter, a bedroom door opened and a servant came out holding a carpet. When he saw her, he hurriedly bent down and
"Second Miss, I'm sorry I was too busy today and just cleaned your room."
Xia Yunduan breathed a sigh of relief, waved at her, walked in and closed the door.
The servant, who had expected to be scolded, was left with a puzzled look.
The second young lady, who has always had a gloomy and bad temper, seems to have changed a little?
