Chapter 8: The Disgusting Couple
"You took his business card and left his phone number?"
After shopping, they found a high-end Japanese restaurant for dinner.
Meng Qingse seemed very surprised to hear her response.
"Are you really planning to become a star?"
"I have this idea," Shen Pianxian stuffed a piece of tempura into his mouth and said vaguely, "I think being a star is good. It's fun and profitable. I can also start my own company in the future."
Meng Qingse raised his eyebrows and smiled, looking at her and said,
"What? Are you planning to get closer to your idol?"
Shen Pianxian looked at her in confusion.

"What are you talking about? Xia Yunduan from the Xia family. Didn't you recite all the lines from the only movie she acted in?"

However, at the peak of her career, she turned to behind-the-scenes work and became a screenwriter, just to write the best script for her beloved husband.
Meng Qingse continued to speak, she sighed,
"Speaking of which, it's really a pity for Miss Xia. She single-handedly made the Ning family's two siblings famous, but she died at such a young age. When the news came out, people on the internet cheered her death and said it was a good thing."
Shen Pianpian's eyebrows moved, and he looked up at her with the corners of his eyes raised.
"A good death?"
"Didn't she die from drunk driving?" Meng Qingse asked, "Everyone is thankful they didn't see the car that killed her on the day of the accident."
"Drunk driving death."
Shen Pianpian bit her chopsticks, her fingers pinching the silver chopsticks so hard that her knuckles turned white.

Ning Haoyu was still at work when he heard the news and fainted on the spot. I heard that apart from appearing at the funeral, she has been bedridden the rest of the time, refusing to accept the truth. His sister has been in charge of the company all this time. The chopsticks made a harsh and hoarse friction sound in her mouth. Meng Qingse pulled the chopsticks out of her mouth.

There was blood on the chopsticks, and Shen Pianpian stared blankly.
Meng Qingse leaned over and lifted her face, pried open her chin and looked inside. The skin on her upper jaw was punctured and bleeding. She couldn't help but raise her voice and scold her.
"Shen Pianpian, there's a hole in your head!"
She seemed to have just realized it and gave Meng Qingse a flattering smile.
"I've been distracted. You know I like Xia Yunduan, but it's really hard to hear you say that."
Meng Qingse's expression was still not very good. He looked at her coldly for a while before sitting back down.
