Chapter 992: Little Heartless

Chapter 992: Little Heartless

Chu Yan sat in the car, looking out the window at the girl holding a doll and speaking incoherently, and looked away in annoyance.

"You little heartless one."

The man muttered to himself, and when he saw a bald figure hurriedly running out of the door, he leaned back in his chair, raised the glass, and gave a lazy order.

The car slowly turned around and drove towards the underground garage.

·

"Is it really you?"

Uncle Mao led the girl upstairs while chattering non-stop.

"I searched for you in Alaska for a long time but couldn't find you. I was still worried."

"Pian Pian also kept thinking about you and complained for a long time that you didn't call her."

The girl remained silent as usual, but the self-introduction on the phone was enough to let Uncle Mao know that she was not a little mute.

The elevator door dinged open.

The men standing on both sides of the door frowned as they glanced at Uncle Mao, their cold, scrutinizing eyes sweeping over the strange girl.

Chu Yang shrank back warily, but his eyes suddenly became as aggressive as a wolf, staring at the person in front of him.

The two bodyguards immediately frowned even deeper.

Uncle Mao hurriedly tried to smooth things over.

"This is a friend of Pian Pian, who came here specially to see Pian Pian. You can put him in."

"Sorry, we need to check."

The bodyguard nodded at him politely, but his tense expression and cold eyes showed his tough attitude.

Uncle Mao scratched his head helplessly, turned around and whispered to the girl,

"Chuyang, this is all for the safety of Pian Pian and... uh, other patients. So if you want to go in to see Pian Pian, you may have to be examined."

The originally sharp eyes flickered slightly when she heard the last word, and the girl's light brown pupils moved downwards reluctantly.

She lowered her head, and her black hair looked full of reluctant submission.

A bodyguard took out a detector and scanned her from head to toe, but the machine did not make any abnormal noise.

So they both nodded and signaled that they could go in.

·

Outside the isolation room, the girl stood in front of the closed door, almost pressing her face against the glass.

"I've actually woken up twice."

Uncle Mao explained,

"He's basically out of danger now, but I heard this hallucinogen is very scary, and the possible mental side effects are still uncertain."

Sadness flashed in the bald uncle's eyes, and he sighed and said,

"In just a few days, Pian Pian has become so thin that he no longer looks like a human."

The girl's body was slightly stiff, and her eyes were a little dim, but she still tried hard to look at the girl on the bed, as if even seeing a strand of hair would make her feel at ease.

·

Underground garage.

The lights in the hospital garage seemed a little paler than anywhere else.

Of course the garage area will be a bit bigger.

So when the convoy drove into the garage silently and majestically, the sound echoing in the vast space was enough to wake up Chu Yan who was dozing off.

He opened his eyes.

In his sight was a whole row of smooth, streamlined cars, which passed by him silently and then stopped neatly and steadily.

The sound of the car door opening was chaotic and silent, as if making the air in the garage tense.

It's a very strange feeling.

It was clearly just an ordinary parking and opening of the door, but one could sense something unusual, as if it was an important and oppressive appearance.

The man in the car raised his eyebrows with interest, and his eyes, which had become more clear, took a quick glance and then fixed on one of the cars.
