Ye Jianguo had never seen anything like this before. He had never even eaten a mango, let alone something as big as a coconut.
At times like these, being able to eat your fill is already a blessing; fruit and the like are luxuries.
Brother Fu quickly urged him, "Brother, you should try it. We still have plenty left. Take some back for your wives to try!"
There was quite a lot of seafood drying at home, and Ye Xiaocui was thinking of packing a nice bag for her older brother later.

The staple food was still the multigrain steamed buns that Ye Xiaocui had prepared early in the morning.

Ye Jianguo was dumbfounded when he saw the table full of dishes.
There were six dishes on the table, but apart from eggs and green vegetables, all of them were meat dishes.

"Unless Ah Wan comes with me!"
Ye Xiaocui rolled her eyes at him; her son was starting to look more and more like her niece!
They're all at the level of five-year-olds!
Fu Wan was unaware of what was going on. "Where are we going?"
"Let's go to my uncle's house to play!"
Fu Ming eagerly answered, saying that going on a blind date alone would be too awkward. If Fu Wan and the others went, he would just treat it as if he were going for fun.
Fu Wan agreed without hesitation. Coincidentally, she found out that her period had started when she got back this morning, so she probably wouldn't be able to go to sea for a few days.
It just so happens that I'm taking Chen Lingling to the mountains to play, so the child won't think that the only things in the world besides houses and the sea are houses.
When it was time to leave the next day, Bai Qianzhou followed them closely, insisting on going with them.
Ye Jianguo had noticed early on that the child seemed to have a mental disability, and he was quite amused by it.

It was Shen Lingling's first time riding in a tricycle, and she excitedly shouted, "I'm going to my uncle's house to play!"
Hearing from her mother that there were rabbits and pheasants there, Chen Lingling couldn't wait to go.
