Chapter 1017 What Snake

Upon hearing the word "snake," Bai Qianzhou instinctively stood up and stood in front of Fu Wan.

Fu Wan pulled Fu Ling and Qin Mingzhu aside, then turned to look at the panicked Robert.

Seeing that Robert was lively and didn't look like he had been bitten, Fu Wan breathed a sigh of relief.

Then she noticed the long, wriggling thing next to Robert's legs.

Good heavens, what Snake? It's clearly a thick, muscular wolf eel!

The wolf-tooth eel, also known as the dog eel, scientifically named *Sinura esculenta*, is one of the common moray eels found in the waters of my country.

This type of moray eel is relatively large, with an overall shape similar to a snake. Its body is cylindrical, its tail is laterally flattened, its back is bluish-black, and its belly is white.

Compared to other moray eels, the wolf tooth moray has a slender head, a large mouth, and incredibly sharp teeth that rival those of a wolf.

From the side, the wolf-tooth eel's mouth looks very much like a wolf's. When it opens, its mouth can stretch all the way to behind its eyes, and its mouthful of fangs looks quite frightening.

This type of moray eel looks frightening and has a very fierce temperament.

Compared to other moray eels, the wolf tooth eel doesn't taste the best. Its muscles have many hard, prominent spines, making it unsuitable for braising.

However, it tastes quite good when used to make fish balls or sashimi.

"Holy crap, this is a huge wolf-tooth eel!"

Fu Ming immediately recognized it as a wolf-tooth eel. Robert had clearly provoked the wolf-tooth eel, and now it was chasing Robert like a snake.

Robert was so frightened that he kept screaming. Seeing this, Fu Wan picked up a harpoon and called to Fu Ming.

"Brother, let's go, let's catch that wolf-tooth eel!"

"Catch them! We have to catch them! How can there be moray eels chasing after people like that!"

Fu Ming also picked up a harpoon, and Bai Qianzhou followed closely behind. However, he didn't have a harpoon, so he simply grabbed a pair of fire tongs and ran over.

This wolf-tooth eel was at least 1.5 meters long, and Fu Wan could see its tail from a great distance.

She boldly grabbed the moray eel by the tail. Sensing danger, the moray eel immediately abandoned its pursuit of Robert and circled back.

"Damn, this wolf-tooth eel must weigh over 20 pounds!"

Fu Ming was overjoyed. Twenty jin! Even if it's only one yuan per jin, it's worth twenty yuan!

I think it's more than that!

Fu Wan shook her head. The moray eel opened its mouth and lunged forward. Fu Wan's harpoon accurately and decisively speared the moray eel's head.

With this fork, it pierced through the eel's head in one go.

"Wan's technique is amazing!"

Fu Ming couldn't help but praise him, and although he was saying it, his hands were still moving.

He also hurled the harpoon in his hand.

The wolf-tooth eel is quite strong; even two people couldn't hold it down as it struggled.

Bai Qianzhou seized the opportunity and firmly held down the wolf-tooth eel's tail to prevent it from lashing out and attacking Fu Wan.

After about five or six minutes, the wolf-tooth eel finally stopped struggling. Fu Ming shouted to Jack, who was standing to the side dumbfounded, "Quick, give me a knife!"

Upon hearing this, Jack hurriedly ran to the pile of tools nearby to find a knife. After the wolf-tooth eel's head was cut off, everyone cheered.

Robert, who was almost bitten, was so angry he wanted to bite the wolf-tooth eel right off the hook.

He showed Fu Wan and the others the spot where he had just been bitten.

This kid was lucky; his rubber shoes were incredibly tough. Everyone gasped when they saw the clearly visible teeth marks on the shoes. If the wolf-tooth eel had bitten his leg, it would have torn off a chunk of flesh!

"My goodness, where did such a huge moray eel come from!"

"Good heavens, these teeth look terrifying! Are you all alright?"

Jiang Chunlan and Ye Xiaocui arrived just now. After picking up the seaweed, they couldn't resist starting to pluck sea snails from under the rocks.

They had unknowingly wandered a bit further away. They didn't pay attention when they heard Robert shouting, but the more they listened, the more something seemed wrong, and they ran back.

When they saw the wolf-tooth eel lying on the beach, the two of them were immediately worried.

Wolf tooth eels can be as fierce as wild dogs when they get angry; getting bitten by one can be quite dangerous!

Upon hearing this, Fu Wan quickly waved her hand, "It's alright, no one was bitten."

"It was chasing Robert just now. Luckily he was wearing rubber shoes, otherwise he would definitely have to go to the hospital today!"

"Oh my, it's really thanks to Mazu's blessing! Let me see, let me see, heavenly bodhisattva, even my shoes are torn apart."

Sure enough, it bit through the shoe. The wolf-tooth eel's teeth are no exaggeration; Robert's shoe was already bitten through.

Fortunately, his size was among the spare water boots on the boat, so he could just change into a new pair on board.

Although he was frightened by the wolf-tooth eel, Robert was always carefree. After catching a few crabs with Fu Wan, he turned around and forgot about it.

There are indeed many crabs under these rocks, and there are several different kinds.

Besides the stone crab with red shell and red husk, there are also the three-spot crab and the orchid crab.

Fu Ling and Qin Mingzhu were not idle either; they caught more than ten Dawn Crabs.

In less than half an hour, Fu Wan's bucket was already more than half full.

She didn't have to carry anything; she was only responsible for catching things. Bai Qianzhou carried the bucket and followed beside her. This was a job she had snatched. Behind her was Robert, who was eyeing the job covetously, thinking about how to get it back to him.

Fu Ming and Qin Anning also had a good harvest, but it was still less than what Fu Wan had in her bucket.

But the resources here are good, and when he turned his head, he saw a crab that immediately shrank under the rocks.

But as soon as he walked over, the water near the rocks became murky, and he couldn't see the crab's location for a moment.

Fu Ming held the pliers and fiddled with them under the rocks for a long time, but he missed every time. Qin Anning even began to wonder if Fu Ming had misjudged the situation.

Or perhaps the crab has already escaped!

"No, the crab must still be down there!"

Fu Ming made a firm promise. After thinking for a moment, he simply put the fire tongs aside and reached directly into the water.

He clearly felt something clamping down on his claws; the crab definitely hadn't run away.

"Holy crap!"

Fu Ming swiftly withdrew his hand, tearing off his glove, revealing several obvious serrated marks on the web of his hand.

"Damn it, he actually dared to pinch me!"

Fu Ming was furious, so he put on gloves and put his hands into the water again.

"Maybe we shouldn't try to catch this crab!"

The seawater was too murky, and Qin Anning couldn't see the crabs at all.

"No, once it's clamped on me, I can't let it go!"

He refused to believe he wouldn't catch that crab today!

"Hiss! Why is this crab so fierce!"

With another inhale, Fu Wan looked over and saw Fu Ming pull his hand back from the seawater, a palm-sized red armor hanging from his hand.

The pliers held up were still clamped tightly on Fu Ming's gloves.

Judging by its appearance, it's most likely stuffed with meat again.

Tsk tsk, it looks painful.

Just as the crab bucket was about to fill up, Bai Qianzhou turned around to switch to another bucket. At that moment, a figure ran over from not far away and started yelling wildly at Fu Wan's location.

"rhubarb?"

"Didn't you leave with my father?"
