Chapter 107 I'm much easier to pet than those furry ones.

Chapter 107 I'm much easier to pet than those furry ones.

The next day, as soon as Jiang Yan opened the door, Lin Yun "whooshed" up onto her ankle.

Jiang Yan looked down and met the tiny snake head, only to have her face instantly covered in mosaics again.

This damn face blindness is acting up again.

She bent down and lifted the small snake wrapped around her ankle: "Why did you turn back into your original form again?"

Jiang Yan took the opportunity to check his breathing, then frowned and asked, "Is your internal energy restricted?"

Her thoughts raced: "Was it a restriction imposed by the Grandmaster?"

Lin Yun offered his snake tail to her palm: "Could you please go and beg her for me?"

Jiang Yan raised an eyebrow and smiled, "I'm not going. You must have offended the Ancestral Grandmother. You'd better suffer the consequences!"

With that, she casually tossed him aside, and Lin Yun was left hanging on the tree. His slender snake body swayed helplessly for a few moments before falling to the ground with a "thud."

He was immediately dizzy from the fall.

He turned his head and saw that old monster Feng Qingyu standing in front of Jiang Yan.

Lin Yun's eyes widened suddenly, and he scrambled towards them!

Feng Qingyu glanced at the green snake struggling to crawl not far away, raised her finger and a flash of white light instantly sent the snake flying far away.

Lin Yun, enraged, shouted, "Feng Qingyu, you old monster! I'll never forgive you!"

Feng Qingyu raised an eyebrow indifferently and said silently, "It's just a snake, who would care?"

Lin Yun: "!!!"

Enraged, he was about to crawl over and bite the old demon to death.

Feng Qingyu slightly raised her hand towards him, and Lin Yun's eyes widened suddenly. Not again?!

He immediately changed direction, scrambled up to the Grandmother's room, and knocked on the door a few times.

Then she pushed open the door and crawled to her grandmother's feet, wrapping her arms around her ankles and whining, "Grandma, my dear grandma~ please release the spell on me~ look how badly your good grandson has been bullied~"

He deliberately pointed out the tiny scratch on his tail, "Don't you feel any pain at all?"

The patriarch glanced at the little snake and chuckled, "You call this an injury? It will heal in less than half an hour. If you want to play the victim, at least come up with a proper injury."

Lin Yun frowned slightly, then quickly climbed onto her shoulder: "Grandma, please~ please restore my human form!"

The ancestral master reached out and tapped his forehead: "No, I just want you to learn a lesson."

"If this keeps up, that old monster will bully me to death..."

The patriarch chuckled and said, "If you don't provoke them, who would bother with a snake like you?"

"..." Lin Yun gritted her teeth: "Grandma, you're not cute at all now!"

"What would I need that thing for at my age?" With that, the matriarch lifted the snake off her shoulder and threw it to the ground.

"You should keep a low profile these next few days, otherwise those old and new grudges will all come back to haunt you at once, and life will only get harder."

Lin Yun climbed out of her room dejectedly. After thinking for a moment, she decided to climb out to find Jiang Yan.

She was dispensing medicine to those people; Shen Yuchen had transformed into her original form last night and hadn't reverted back yet.

After Jiang Yan fed him the pills, she stroked his smooth, shiny fur and kept praising him with her eyes narrowed: "Our baby's fur has been getting better and better lately, it feels really nice to the touch."

As she spoke, she reached out and gently brushed away the two feathers on his head.

Shen Yuchen trembled slightly as if he had been electrocuted, and his pale face instantly turned as red as a ripe apple. He said in a low voice, "I'm glad you like it."

Jiang Yan squinted and stroked his wings, showering him with praise once more.

She looked up and saw the blue mosaic tiles not far away, with Lin Yun looking at her with a displeased expression.

He'd only been gone a short while, and she was already praising and touching him to others. What a fickle woman!

Jiang Yan had no idea what he was angry about, and waved to him: "Lin Yun, come and take your medicine."

Lin Yun snorted, "I won't eat!"

After saying that, he turned to leave.

Jiang Yan frowned, and inexplicably became angry again.

With a flick of her finger, she instantly froze the snake in place, then quickly walked over and picked it up.

They pried open the snake's mouth and stuffed a few pills inside.

Lin Yun swallowed the pills without thinking. He had been fed too many, and he choked instantly, his snake-like eyes widening as he coughed.

Jiang Yan was startled and quickly grabbed his head and shook him.

After the pills were swallowed, Lin Yun swiftly climbed onto her wrist and angrily said, "Is this how you feed medicine?! Are you trying to murder your husband again?!"

Jiang Yan smiled and patted his head: "Oh dear, it was a moment of carelessness, it's my fault, don't worry about these details."

Lin Yun nuzzled his head into her palm and rubbed his tail against her, saying, "Aren't my scales much nicer to the touch than those furry ones?"

Upon hearing this, Shen Yuchen glanced at the snake with displeasure, and suddenly felt an urge to cast a silencing spell on it.

Lin Yun noticed the murderous look in the other party's eyes and immediately hid himself in Jiang Yan's sleeve.

Then he whispered, "I'll take you around to see the treasures of our ancestral master."

Jiang Yan's eyes lit up: "Great!"

As she turned around, Jiang Yan saw Gongsun Jin walking towards her from not far away.

So she tossed him a few pills, saying, "These are yours."

Gongsun Jin reached out and took it, saying, "Thank you."

Lin Yun led Jiang Yan to the study, and the others followed closely behind.

Jiang Yan looked at the dazzling array of books on the bookshelf and was somewhat shocked: "These are all books that our Grandmaster Grandmother read?"

"Basically yes."

Jiang Yan casually picked up a book titled "Ancient Artifacts," and flipped to a page where the words "Heavenly Heart Glazed Lamp" caught her eye.

After quickly scanning the few lines of text above, Jiang Yan couldn't help but frown.

Seeing that she was engrossed in watching, Lin Yun couldn't help but tilt the snake's head to look over.

Jiang Yan slammed the book shut and hurriedly put it back in its place.

Lin Yun asked suspiciously, "What's wrong?"

Jiang Yan smiled slightly: "It's nothing."

Lin Yun didn't think much of it. His eyes lit up as he said, "I'll take you to a good place."

As he spoke, his tail snapped open a button.

Before Jiang Yan could react, she was sucked in by a powerful force.

Soon, the door behind her closed again.

Jiang Yan looked at the hillside covered in blooming flowers and was somewhat surprised. It turned out that the study was a hidden gem.

Lin Yun pointed with his tail to a hot spring not far away and said, "That's the place with the most abundant spiritual energy in Medicine King Valley."

Just as Jiang Yan was about to take a step forward, she heard him call out again, "Don't go over there. Your cultivation is still shallow. Getting too close will only cause it to backfire on you."

Jiang Yan was taken aback. "Is it that strange?"

She glanced down at the flowers and plants at her feet. "These flowers and plants are growing very well."

"Let's go explore other places. Our ancestral grandmother planted many precious medicinal herbs here. You can pick some to take back with you."

Jiang Yan frowned and said, "But isn't it inappropriate not to greet her beforehand?"

"I'll talk to her about it later."

Jiang Yan nodded, wandered around, and spotted a blue flower blooming not far away.

Just as I was about to walk over and take a closer look, I saw a dark shadow flash by not far away.

Lin Yun instinctively shouted, "Who!"
