Mu Shaohua softly hummed in agreement, her eyes filled with tenderness.
Lu Qingzhou walked out of the guesthouse and headed towards the owner's cashier area.
Watching Lu Qingzhou's departing figure, Su Qingyao took out a tissue, elegantly wiped her mouth, and then walked lightly to Mu Shaohua's guesthouse room: "You gave him money?"
Mu Shaohua looked up, glanced at Su Qingyao indifferently, and said calmly, "No!"
Su Qingyao frowned slightly, looking puzzled: "No? Then why are his pockets bulging?"
Mu Shaohua's lips twitched, feeling somewhat speechless. This woman, you might think, is stupid, yet she manages to run her company so successfully.
She's smart, but she doesn't understand how to grasp men's psychology.
I simply ignored her.
Seeing Su Qingyao's bewildered expression, a teasing thought arose: "You're mistaken, he's just exceptionally talented."
Su Qingyao's brain went blank for a moment, and she asked in confusion, "What pancake?"
Mu Shaohua almost burst out laughing. She blinked and continued teasing, "It's not a pancake, it's the ham you're eating."
Su Qingyao then realized what was happening, her face instantly flushing red. She spat lightly, "Pah, shameless! You just ate it!"
Mu Shaohua put down the clothes she was tidying and looked at her with a mischievous grin: "Haven't you ever experienced it?"
Su Qingyao felt extremely uncomfortable, as if ants were crawling all over her body, under Mu Shaohua's fiery and piercing gaze.
Her neck stiffened instantly, her face contorted with indignation, and she retorted loudly, "Of course I didn't! I'm not a vixen like you, always scheming and coming up with all sorts of tricks."
As she spoke, the corners of her mouth turned up in a disdainful smirk.
He even exaggeratedly shook his shoulders and squeezed out a "Ugh, disgusting!" from his nose.
The way it looked made it seem as if Mu Shaohua was talking about something disgusting and filthy.
Mu Shaohua watched Su Qingyao's retreating figure, a sly smile slowly spreading across his face.
Her voice wasn't loud, but it was like a pebble dropped precisely into Su Qingyao's heart: "Little Lu really likes it!"
Su Qingyao's body suddenly seemed to freeze, and her steps came to an abrupt halt.
In an instant, a blush spread rapidly from her ears to her entire pretty face, turning as red as a ripe tomato.
She bit her lower lip tightly, her teeth chattering, and squeezed out a sentence through gritted teeth: "If he likes it, then eat more, or you'll choke to death."
But deep down, she felt like she had a little rabbit in her hand, a sense of panic washing over her.
'Is that really okay? Oh my god, how embarrassing!'
It felt like two little people were fighting inside her: one was curiosity about what Mu Shaohua had said, and the other was an indescribable shyness.
at the same time,
A sense of doubt arose in her mind: 'That damned vixen, how does she know so much? Where did she learn all this?'
Su Qingyao frowned slightly, her delicate eyebrows forming a beautiful "川" shape, her eyes filled with thought.
He stepped out of the guesthouse mechanically, looking thoughtful as he left.
......
Lu Qingzhou arrived at the guesthouse's cashier, raised his hand and gently tapped the table, polite yet somewhat anxious: "Boss, please settle the bill."
A middle-aged woman dressed in an elegant cheongsam walked gracefully towards the sound, her steps light and each one carrying the charm of time.
As she approached, her gaze scrutinized Lu Qingzhou, scanning him up and down several times.
He muttered to himself, "He is indeed tall and handsome. His figure and demeanor are extraordinary. No wonder that little girl Yinuo likes him so much. It's just that there seem to be a lot of women around him."
Lu Qingzhou felt uncomfortable under her direct and intense gaze, and goosebumps rose on his skin.
He subconsciously took a small step back and spoke again, his voice tinged with embarrassment: "Boss, I'm here to settle the bill; we're heading home today."
The middle-aged woman then came to her senses, a gentle smile blooming on her face, and said softly, "Young man, you are from one of the four guesthouses in Area A, right?"
Lu Qingzhou nodded quickly: "Yes." The middle-aged woman's lips curled up slightly, her smile widening: "Your bill has already been settled."
Lu Qingzhou was instantly filled with confusion. Recalling the way the landlady had looked at him earlier, alarm bells rang in his mind.
He subconsciously took two steps back, waved his hands frantically in the air, and said earnestly, "Boss lady, I'm a respectable person."
The middle-aged woman was so amused by Lu Qingzhou's comical yet nervous behavior that she doubled over with laughter, which echoed across the cashier counter.
This little rascal, what on earth is he thinking? He's even teasing his future aunt.
However, it seems unreasonable not to explain.
She suppressed a laugh and explained, "Your friend has already paid your bill."
When Lu Qingzhou returned to the guesthouse courtyard, his mind was still a mess, as if shrouded in a fog.
Everyone had already packed their luggage neatly, with suitcases of all sizes stacked in the yard, just waiting for him to return so they could set off together.
Su Qingyao, with her sharp eyes, saw Lu Qingzhou return and immediately rushed forward. Her hair swayed gently with her movements, and her eyes were full of concern: "Why did you take so long? Were there many people checking out?"
Lu Qingzhou scratched his head, a hint of doubt on his face: "There weren't many people, but the boss said someone has already settled our bill."
Mu Shaohua looked at Lu Qingzhou with a half-smile, a hint of teasing in her eyes: "Was that the middle-aged lady you met at the front desk? She's quite pretty."
