As his thoughts raced like wild horses, Leng Yue, who was pressing down on him, suddenly opened her eyes wide, her gaze filled with panic and shyness, like a frightened little white rabbit.
Her body instantly froze on Lu Qingzhou's body, too afraid to move, feeling as if her heart was about to leap out of her throat.
She never expected that her playful banter with Lu Qingzhou would lead to such an awkward and ambiguous situation, leaving her somewhat at a loss.
The two remained in that position for several seconds, as if time had stopped.
It wasn't until Zhouzhou's clear, childlike voice broke the slightly eerie silence: "Daddy, Aunt Lengyue, what are you doing?"
The two then seemed to wake up from a dream.
Leng Yue's face instantly turned as red as a ripe tomato, even her earlobes turned bright red, as if they could bleed.
She scrambled to her feet from Lu Qingzhou's body in a flustered manner, using both hands and feet, and almost fell again.

Lu Qingzhou almost rolled his eyes when he heard Leng Yue's explanation, and he complained inwardly, but he didn't refute it.
He stood up, quickly straightening his slightly disheveled clothes with his fingers. Looking at Zhouzhou's innocent and bewildered eyes, he forced himself to remain calm and said, "Hehe, we were just joking."
Although he said that, his heart was pounding like a rabbit's.
The sensation of that brief touch was still vividly etched in his memory, causing his heart to beat faster involuntarily.
A strange feeling filled his mind. He shook his head, trying to clear his head, silently telling himself, 'This is just an accident, I can't overthink it, otherwise... damn it, I'll just pretend nothing happened. I'm a grown man, what's the panic? It's not my fault.'
After this mental preparation...
Lu Qingzhou felt that his posture had straightened up considerably.
After hearing their explanation, Zhouzhou's gaze swept back and forth between the two of them like a scanner, her little eyes revealing a shrewdness beyond her years.
This made things even more awkward for the two of them, and neither of them dared to look at Zhouzhou's wise little eyes.
It's outrageous that two adults were completely outmaneuvered by Zhouzhou.
