He adjusted his posture, gently raised his hand, and then lowered it again.
Through the thin layer of pajamas, I immediately felt a soft sensation on my hands.
Lu Qing froze, and the chaotic embrace from two hours ago flashed through her mind.
He subconsciously turned his head to the side.
Leng Yue also noticed something amiss, suddenly feeling a soft touch on a certain soft spot on her body. As their eyes met, they could both feel each other's heavy breathing.
Lu Qingzhou almost blurted out "Damn it!" in his mind. The misunderstanding from two hours ago had only just subsided a little, and now this was happening again. He didn't know whether to consider himself lucky or unlucky.
He gave an awkward smile, gently raised his arm, mouthed an apology to Leng Yue.

Mu Shaohua withdrew her gaze, turning her head to glance at Su Qingyao's tense knees. "I know you're feeling a bit upset about what we talked about tonight,"
She paused, reached up to tidy a strand of hair behind her ear, and said with an unwavering certainty, "However, I still want to clarify my position: as long as Xiao Lu is willing, I have no objection. I believe that even if he has many other women around him in the future, he will still love me."
Su Qingyao stared at the pearl swaying on Mu Shaohua's earlobe, her nails digging deep into her palms, almost piercing her flesh: "Are you so sure that Lu Qingzhou will like Yueyue, and that Yueyue will like him too?"
The night breeze carried the lingering fragrance from her hair, but it couldn't mask the chill in her voice.
Mu Shaohua toyed with the cup in her hand.
Seeing Su Qingyao shrug slightly, her silk robe slipping half an inch down to reveal her delicate collarbone, he said, "How about we make a bet? If they like each other, you'll give them your blessing. What do you say? Are you in?"
She deliberately dragged out the last syllable, the sound like a cat's claw scratching at Su Qingyao's heart.
That sly smile was hidden in the fine lines at the corners of his eyes, like a trap that had been laid long ago.
Su Qingyao's temples throbbed.
Images of my recent gambling losses flashed through my mind like a revolving lantern.
But his inherent arrogance instantly surged.
She raised her head, her neck taut with a hint of stubbornness: "Let's bet! Who's afraid of who! If they really like each other, I... I'll let them be together! Anyway, he's your man. Since you're going to be the good guy, why should I, Su Qingyao, be the bad guy? What's the stake?"
Mu Shaohua smiled inwardly, but remained elegant and composed on the surface: "If I lose, I will acknowledge you as the eldest sister in this family. If you lose, you will have to acknowledge me as the eldest sister, how about that?"
She watched the anger flickering in Su Qingyao's eyes, and the provocation on her face became increasingly obvious.
It would have been better if Mu Shaohua hadn't brought it up, but hearing her say it now, Su Qingyao immediately recalled the scene where she was forced to call her "sister" last time, and a feeling of resentment welled up inside her.
She glared at Mu Shaohua and said decisively, "Fine, it's settled then."
Behind the curtains,
Lu Qingzhou's Adam's apple bobbed up and down, almost causing his jaw to drop in astonishment.
His mouth gaped open, his expression was priceless, and he was completely dumbfounded.
His face was filled with disbelief; he even wondered if he was hallucinating.
'What did I hear?'

His mind was in complete chaos, and even his breathing became rapid.
Leng Yue's fingertips gripped the curtain fabric tightly, tiny fibers embedded in her nails.
Mu Shaohua's suggestion was like a pebble thrown into a deep pool, causing ripples in her lifeless heart, mixed with tension and anticipation.
She never expected this, and she couldn't understand Mu Shaohua's purpose in doing so.
But at this moment, she didn't want to delve into it further!
She looked away, staring at Lu Qingzhou's tense back, her heart pounding as if it would burst out of her chest.
She subconsciously stretched out her little finger and gently poked Lu Qingzhou's waist. Her playful expression was incredibly cute.
Lu Qingzhou only felt a slight itch in her waist.
He turned around.
Seeing Leng Yue's shy and charming expression, a mix of nervousness, bashfulness, and anticipation swirling on her fair face, she resembled a young bride about to meet her in-laws.
Lu Qingzhou's heart pounded as he watched.
Seeing that Su Qingyao had finished talking and that he had achieved his goal, Mu Shaohua felt there was no need to continue the conversation.
She then sat up slightly, the hem of her nightgown brushing against Su Qingyao's calves, bringing a subtle sense of pressure: "Alright, let me see if Xiao Lu has finished preparing the snacks for his drinks."
Su Qingyao followed them back to the living room, staring at the exquisitely plated braised beef on the dining table, and suddenly felt utterly bored. "The food's all cooked, where did everyone go?"
Mu Shaohua glanced at the corner, noticing the slightly swaying curtains, and a smile appeared on her lips. She then said casually to Su Qingyao beside her, "It's probably in the kitchen. Go check."
Leng Yue and Lu Qingzhou tensed up for a moment.
I really didn't expect them to suddenly get up and go back to the living room.
It was too late to escape; the two of them, their bodies tense, had no choice but to continue hiding behind the curtains.
"Why don't you go and see?" Su Qingyao asked, her neck stiff, but she still couldn't help but walk towards the kitchen.
She glanced into the kitchen, then came back. "No, it's not there."
Mu Shaohua withdrew her gaze from the curtains, smiled gently, a mischievous glint in her eyes, and feigned surprise, "Oh, Qingyao, do you have a cat at home?"
Su Qingyao looked puzzled. "No?"
Mu Shaohua pointed to the location of the curtains on the balcony, "Isn't it there? Then why are the curtains moving?"
