Lu Qingzhou drove the car out of the clinic, soft music playing inside. The two chatted casually, occasionally bursting into cheerful laughter.
Before we knew it, the car had stopped on the busiest commercial street. People were coming and going, shops were lined up, and all kinds of colorful signs were flashing. The laughter of couples could be heard from the street from time to time.
Just as they were getting into the swing of shopping, Chen Xiaoxi's eyes suddenly lit up. She tugged at Lu Qingzhou's sleeve and said excitedly, "Qingzhou, look at that shop! That newly opened jewelry shop is so pretty, shall we go check it out?"
Looking at her bright, expectant eyes, Lu Qingzhou felt like a child who had discovered a treasure.
He couldn't help but smile: "Let's go in and take a look."

Before they could get any closer, Lu Qingzhou suddenly froze in his tracks.
His body tensed instantly, his gaze fixed straight ahead, as if he had been frozen in place.
Two people walked towards them.
One of the women, dressed in a light purple dress, was holding a bouquet of carnations.
Standing next to her was none other than Chen Xiaoxi's father—Old Man Chen!
'Oh my god, what a coincidence!'
This unexpected encounter was truly dramatic.
He met Old Man Chen at the flower shop, and they both knew why the other was buying flowers.
But both of them were simply spouting lies to deceive each other.
Lu Qingzhou's lips twitched violently a few times. He pointed forward, his voice unconsciously becoming a little hoarse: "Xiaoxi, look ahead..."
Chen Xiaoxi looked in the direction he was pointing, her eyes widening instantly, and her voice involuntarily rising: "Is that my dad? And the one next to him is...?"
Before she could finish speaking, her voice abruptly stopped, because Zhang Ruoshui on the other side had already seen them. The three of them looked at each other, and the air seemed to freeze instantly, as if time itself stood still.
Seeing Zhang Ruoshui suddenly freeze, a puzzled look on her face, Old Chen asked curiously, "What are you looking at?"
Old Chen followed Zhang Ruoshui's gaze, and the smile on his face instantly froze into a mask. A hint of embarrassment flashed in his eyes, and he seemed to be frozen in place.

Lu Qingzhou swallowed hard and said in a low voice, "We need to take the initiative and control the conversation. Let's go and say hello to them."
Chen Xiaoxi pursed her lips and replied, "Okay, I'll listen to you."

The two stepped forward,
They shouted it out in unison.
"Mom?! Dad?!"
Old Chen was the first to react. He rubbed his hands together and forced a kind smile: "Xiao Lu, Xiao Xi, what... what are you doing here?"
His eyes darted away, avoiding direct eye contact with his daughter and Lu Qingzhou. His heart was pounding with anxiety; 'How come I keep running into this kid everywhere? It's so weird.'
Zhang Ruoshui was speechless at the chance encounters. How many times had this happened? Couldn't we old folks have a little privacy?
She instinctively hid the carnations behind her back, forcing a calm expression and managing a smile: "Qingzhou, Xiaoxi, what a coincidence..."
Watching her mother hide the flowers, Lu Qingzhou felt both annoyed and amused. 'So they can be embarrassed too. Never mind then.' She instantly felt much more relaxed.
He stroked his chin, looking at the two of them with a half-smile: "What a coincidence, Mom? This bouquet of carnations looks familiar. I feel like I've seen it somewhere before?"
He deliberately dragged out his words, his eyes darting back and forth between Zhang Ruoshui and Old Man Chen.
She was considering whether to bring up the incident of bumping into Old Man Chen at the flower shop, so that the old man would be thoroughly embarrassed.
Zhang Ruoshui looked bewildered, not understanding her son's meaning, and subconsciously said, "Aren't there many flowers on the main street?"
She was completely unaware of the hidden meaning in her son's words and was still trying to hide her panic.
