Teacher Wang glanced down at the documents in her hand, smiled, and said, "Alright, I'll take on this work report for the sake of this meal. But don't run off too fast, or you might trip and fall!"
Watching Lin Yinuo's hurried departure, Teacher Wang gently shook her head and turned to walk in the opposite direction.
Lin Yinuo jogged across the street, her high heels clicking crisply on the ground.
Just as she was about to catch up with Lu Qingzhou, she suddenly stopped, her heart pounding like a drum.
Taking a deep breath, she took out her phone and dialed Lu Qingzhou's number.
I wanted to tease him.
Lu Qingzhou was walking along, completely unaware of the movement behind him.
His phone suddenly vibrated in his pocket. He freed one hand to take out the phone, and the moment he saw the caller ID, a gentle smile unconsciously appeared on his lips: "Hello, Yinuo."
Lin Yinuo stared at his retreating figure, a hint of slyness in her voice: "Brother Qingzhou, where are you?"
Lu Qingzhou blurted out almost without thinking, "I'm at work."
He regretted it as soon as the words left his mouth.

Lu Qingzhou was about to respond when he suddenly froze.
This sound is a bit off; it's not coming from the phone at all.

He slowly turned around and met Lin Yinuo's almond-shaped eyes, which were full of resentment.
The moment their eyes met, time seemed to freeze.
He stood there, frozen in place, his mind blank. It took him a while to come to his senses. He cursed inwardly, "Damn it, no wonder I felt a chill when I was lying earlier. So I was being watched by the mother leopard."
I was filled with remorse. Damn it, why did I lie? It was completely unnecessary. They're all from my own family, what's there to be afraid of?
His mind raced, and he stepped forward, forcing a fawning smile: "Yinuo, what are you doing here?"
Lin Yinuo's gaze slowly moved downwards.
Finally, it landed on the two cups of milk tea in his hands.
Her face instantly darkened: "I'm running some errands nearby. Aren't you at the company? Why are you here in the shopping street so quickly? Do you cultivate immortality first?" Her tone was clearly dissatisfied, and her jealousy was almost overflowing.
Knowing he was in the wrong, Lu Qingzhou quickly grabbed her fair hand and coaxed her softly, "That was just an unconscious response. I was wrong. Here, have a cup of milk tea and you won't be angry anymore." He handed her the milk tea, his eyes full of appeasement.
Lin Yinuo's tense face instantly broke into a smile. She took the milk tea and took a big sip, the pearls bouncing between her teeth.
But then she suddenly remembered something, and her eyes sharpened: "Are you on a date with friends? And you even bought two cups of milk tea?"

His tone seemed light, but it carried an unyielding force that made Lu Qingzhou shiver.
Lu Qingzhou felt a chill run from the soles of her feet to the top of her head, her scalp tingling. She inwardly groaned, lamenting: she had just encountered Chen Xiaoxi's father, and now she had run into Lin Yinuo.

This trip to the commercial street is likely to turn into a difficult "survival journey".
