Extra 2 Getting Married

Half a month later!

The afterglow of the setting sun painted the sky above the sea with a warm orange-red and purplish-red hue, while the waves gently lapped against the soft sand.

This was no ordinary beach, but a meticulously decorated wedding venue.

Pure white gauze curtains fluttered gently in the sea breeze, adorned with warm yellow string lights and delicate champagne roses.

There weren't many guests, but they were all close relatives and friends, and everyone's face was filled with a smile of blessing.

"Mom, Uncle Chen, look over here!" Leng Yue excitedly shouted, holding up her camera.

At the end of the red carpet, Zhang Ruoshui wore a well-tailored pearl white satin cheongsam, simple yet elegant, the charm accumulated over the years shining brightly at this moment.

She linked arms with Chen Yang, who was dressed in a crisp navy blue Tang suit. The two smiled at each other, their wrinkles filled with the happiness and shyness of finally achieving fulfillment after going through many hardships.

Old Chen looked at Zhang Ruoshui beside him with eyes so tender they could melt.

"Ruoshui, you look beautiful today."

Old Chen said in a low voice, his voice tinged with a barely perceptible sob.

"You too, Old Chen."

Zhang Ruoshui's face was full of sweetness as she held his arm tightly.

Zhouzhou and Momo, dressed in adorable little dresses and carrying flower baskets, scattered pure white rose petals in front of them, giggling as they went.

Su Qingyao, Mu Shaohua, Leng Yue, Chen Xiaoxi, and Lin Yinuo stood on both sides of the red carpet, watching the newlyweds slowly walk in, their faces showing smiles of relief and emotion.

Chen Xiaoxi, the chief planner, had tears welling up in her eyes as she watched her father finally find his own happiness.

Su Qingyao was in charge of overall coordination, Mu Shaohua oversaw the process details, Leng Yue was responsible for creating the atmosphere and music, and Lin Yinuo meticulously arranged the floral arrangements on site.

They worked together to give the two elders an unforgettable ceremony.

The emcee was a seasoned host invited by Mu Shaohua. His words were warm and affectionate, guiding the two newlyweds to exchange vows.

There are no fancy words, only a simple and sincere promise.

"Ruoshui, her first half of life... let's not talk about it."

This immediately drew laughter from the crowd.

Old Chen coughed lightly to cover his embarrassment and continued, "For the rest of your life, let me take care of you and watch the gentle flow of time with you."

After saying that, he solemnly placed a simple and elegant ring on Zhang Ruoshui's finger.

"Old Chen, thank you for entering my life. From now on, we'll walk hand in hand, and I'll never be alone again." Zhang Ruoshui's voice was gentle yet firm as she placed the ring on Old Chen's finger.

Amidst the applause and blessings of relatives and friends, and witnessed by the magnificent sunset, Old Man Chen gently kissed Zhang Ruoshui's forehead.

The sea breeze blew, ruffling Zhang Ruoshui's hair and stirring Old Chen's pocket square. This moment of tranquility and beauty was forever captured.
