Zhang Ming sat on his electric scooter, looking at his phone.
Lu Qingzhou quietly came up behind him.
She lightly slapped his shoulder, trying to scare him.
"Hey, looking at pretty girls again!"
He then nudged Zhang Ming and shifted his position.
I sat next to him on the seat of the electric scooter.
Zhang Ming dropped the cigarette in his hand and suddenly turned around to look at Lu Qingzhou. "You little brat, who are you trying to scare?" He then bent down to pick up the cigarette butt that had fallen to the ground, blew a few puffs at it, and then took a few deep drags.
He took out a cigarette case from his pocket and offered one to Lu Qingzhou.
Lu Qingzhou naturally took the cigarette, lit it, and slowly exhaled wisps of smoke from his mouth.
His gaze was fixed on the brightly lit bustling city in the distance!
Couples strolled through the bustling crowd with smiles on their faces.
Seeing that Lu Qingzhou didn't speak, Zhang Ming turned to look at him and said, "You look like you have something on your mind, what's wrong!"
Lu Qingzhou withdrew his gaze, flicked the ash from his cigarette, and smiled. "I don't have anything on my mind. I'm just lamenting how fast time flies and how ruthless life can be."
"In the blink of an eye, several years have passed, and I'm already 27 years old!"
Zhang Ming said, "What's wrong with being 27? At that age, men start to mature and understand responsibility. You're just getting started, what's there to be sentimental about!"
Lu Qingzhou didn't pick up on that topic. Instead, he asked, "What was wrong with your little electric scooter? You fixed it today?"
Zhang Ming said, "One of the power cables is loose and has a poor connection."
"I almost forgot about your electric scooter if you hadn't mentioned it. What happened to your electric scooter? How did it get like that?"
Lu Qingzhou looked helpless. "I don't know either. There aren't any security cameras over there, and I don't know who put them there. Damn it, just thinking about it makes me furious. If I find out who did it, I'll beat them to a pulp!"
Lu Qingzhou gave Zhang Ming a brief account of what had happened that day.

She said sourly, "Don't pretend you're innocent after getting a good deal. Why didn't I get such a good thing? Let me try out your new electric scooter!"
My gaze swept over, "Where did you park your little electric scooter? I can't see it!"
Lu Qingzhou stood up and pointed to a spot not far away. "Over there!"
