Jiang Ranran did what he said and went to the mental hospital in person and asked to see the director.
"Our dean is busy. Just tell me if you have anything to say." The nurse at the door was a strong woman with acne all over her face. Her dark skin was glowing with light. She could hold two Jiang Ranrans in her!
She was like a wall, blocking Jiang Ranran and refusing to let him enter their door.
Jiang Ranran was not afraid at all, as he believed that the loudness of the voice was not the key to success.
"Can you make the decision?" Jiang Ranran raised his eyes and stared at her calmly, even with a hint of pride between his eyebrows.
The female nurse was a little unhappy when she saw that Jiang Ranran was not afraid of her.
"Of course I have the final say! If you have something to say, say it. If not, leave quickly. This is not a place for you to play house!" She growled, and her cloudy eyes would glare at Jiang Ranran from time to time, as if Jiang Ranran owed her 2.58 million.
Jiang Ranran frowned. It was really tiring to communicate with such a rude person.
"I want to find Duan Meimei. I want to see her. She is a patient here." Jiang Ranran went straight to the point and didn't want to argue with her anymore.
When the female nurse heard Duan Meimei's name, she was obviously stunned, and then she showed a look of contempt towards Jiang Ranran.
"You were the one who called to ask just now, weren't you? You're meddling in other people's business. You're not a family member!" The female nurse rolled her eyes and looked down upon Jiang Ranran more and more.
Jiang Ranran clenched her fists. Her patience was limited!
"Are you going to let me in or not?" Jiang Ranran held onto the last bit of her temper and tried hard to restrain herself from losing her temper.
The female nurse heard the emotion in Jiang Ranran's words and glanced at him arrogantly, "You are not allowed in, what do you think?"
Very good, Jiang Ranran was successfully angered.
"Su Cheng, I heard that you know the director of this hospital. Did you make a donation here?" Jiang Ranran immediately called Su Cheng. The reason why Duan Meimei was sent here was all arranged by Su Cheng, so he must have a connection with this hospital.
While speaking, Jiang Ranran glanced at the female nurse from time to time. When the female nurse heard what Jiang Ranran said, she looked arrogant and had no idea that she had offended someone she shouldn't have offended.
"Hmph, just putting on airs." The female nurse curled her lips, thinking Jiang Ranran was bragging.
Jiang Ranran ignored him and coldly ordered Su Cheng: "President Su, I was stopped by the female nurse at the door. Please help me, I have to go in."
Su Cheng is Jiang Ranran's loyal "little follower". Don't look at him as the president of the Su Group. It's bullshit!
After finishing the call, Jiang Ranran sat on the bench at the door, waiting to see the female nurse get slapped in the face.
In less than five minutes, Jiang Ranran saw from afar an old man in a white coat walking out from inside and approaching Jiang Ranran quickly. When the female nurse at the door saw the old man, she hurriedly stood up to greet him, but the old man ignored her. It was obvious that he had urgent matters to deal with and didn't care about anything else.
"Miss Jiang, is it? I'm sorry for not welcoming you in person. I'm sorry for not welcoming you in person!" The old man stood in front of Jiang Ranran with a smile on his face.
How could he dare to neglect Jiang Ranran? She was Mr. Su's friend, and Su Cheng donated a lot of money here every year.
Although the Su Group donates to the society every year, Su Cheng doesn't know where the money goes. It was only when Duan Meimei got into trouble that he learned that their company had donated to this hospital.
Jiang Ranran glanced at the old man and asked him doubtfully, "Dean?"
"Yes, yes, I am the dean here. Oh, this is my first time meeting Miss Jiang. I didn't know you were Mr. Su's friend." The dean was so respectful and even servile to Jiang Ranran that the nurse's dark face turned ashen, and her arrogance was no longer as arrogant as before.
Jiang Ranran subconsciously looked at her. The female nurse just hung her head in shame, afraid that she would be scolded.
"Everything else is easy to deal with, but Dean, the female nurse guarding the door is really unreasonable. She just won't let me in." Jiang Ranran curled his lips into a cold smile, waiting to see the show.
The director turned his head and scolded the nurse, "How many times have I told you to pay attention to your service attitude?"
The female nurse lowered her head, not daring to breathe, and nodded repeatedly: "Yes, Dean."
"Hurry up and apologize to Miss Jiang!" the dean shouted at her.
The female nurse glanced at Jiang Ranran, not knowing whether she was unconvinced or not, but she apologized obediently, "Ms. Jiang, I didn't know you were a distinguished guest. I was wrong just now. Please forgive me."
After hearing the other party's apology, Jiang Ranran's anger finally subsided. She sighed and regretted that she shouldn't have been angry with a gatekeeper. If she couldn't get in, wouldn't it be better to just call Su Cheng?
"Forget it." Jiang Ranran waved his hand, then softened his expression and said to the dean, "Dean, I have something important to discuss with you. Let's go in."
The dean then respectfully invited Jiang Ranran in.
This was Jiang Ranran's first time in such a place. It was fine outside the door, and it felt quite quiet. But once he came in, he heard all kinds of strange noises and people with weird expressions everywhere.
As soon as he came in, Jiang Ranran felt that countless pairs of eyes were staring at him, and the kind of staring that never left his side made Jiang Ranran feel uncomfortable all over.
A cool breeze blew across Jiang Ranran's body, and she couldn't help but shiver. This place gave people a gloomy feeling.
To get to the dean's office, one has to go through a long corridor. Jiang Ranran had never thought that a corridor could be so long, so long that it seemed endless.
"Miss Jiang, please come this way..." The dean turned around and greeted Jiang Ranran from time to time, which made Jiang Ranran feel more at ease.
At least the dean is a normal person.
Finally they arrived at the dean's office. The dean invited Jiang Ranran in and poured her a glass of water.
"Ms. Jiang, I wonder if you have any advice for me this time?" The dean smiled and did not dare to neglect Jiang Ranran at all, otherwise, their hospital would have difficulty in getting funding next year.
Jiang Ranran sat down and politely told the dean, "Dean, I want to see someone. Her name is Duan Meimei. It was President Su who sent someone here. Is she healed? Why did I see her outside the hospital?"
When Duan Meimei was mentioned, Jiang Ranran clearly felt the muscles on the dean's face twitch, but they quickly returned to normal.
"What's the patient's name?" The dean asked again, as if he didn't hear clearly.
"Duan Meimei." Jiang Ranran said truthfully.
The dean looked thoughtful, as if trying hard to recall the name, but soon a look of relief appeared on his face. "Ms. Jiang, you know, there are many patients in the hospital. I don't remember this patient." The dean said with an apologetic smile.
