Chapter 151 An'an, you've been hiding it well.

"You little duck, aren't you happy to receive a red envelope?"

"Yes, thank you, honey," An Yiruo said sweetly.

Mo Jingchen leaned down and pinned An Yiruo beneath him, kissing her. Only after a long while did he reluctantly release her.

"I'll let you off the hook for today, and I'll collect the interest tonight," Mo Jingchen whispered in An Yiruo's ear before getting up and going to the bathroom.

An Yiruo was left alone on the bed, her face flushed as she stared at the ceiling.

She thought to herself, "This Mo Jingchen is really getting better and better at flirting." She seemed to be becoming more and more dependent on him.

After calming herself down, An Yiruo got up to wash up.

When the two of them came downstairs, they found that they were the only two people missing from the living room, so they had to quicken their pace.

"Grandma, Happy New Year," An Yiruo said, stepping forward with a sweet smile.

"Alright, alright, give our An'an a big red envelope." Old Madam Mo handed An Yiruo a thick red envelope.

An Yiruo turned her head to look at Mo Jingchen, who nodded and then accepted the gift.

"Thank you, Grandma."

He then extended New Year's greetings to Gu Wanting and Mo Zhiyuan, and to Wang Yuan and Mo Zhiting.

Unsurprisingly, everyone received a red envelope.

It can be said that she could not refuse the gift from her elders. This year is the first time that An Yiruo has spent the New Year in the Mo family as Mo Jingchen's wife. She doesn't care how much money is in the red envelopes, she just wants to have a happy occasion.

Meanwhile, Mo Jingfei was receiving so many red envelopes that her hands were sore from accepting them.

Mo Jingchen sent out red envelopes in several work groups early in the morning. The amounts were quite large, and the employees were very happy, unanimously thanking their boss in the comments.

Zhang Yuanyuan: "Yi Ruo, Happy New Year!"

An Yiruo: "Happy New Year, Yuanyuan. Did you have a good time celebrating the Spring Festival at your hometown?"

Since Zhang Yuanyuan is not a local of City A, she naturally returned to her hometown with the Spring Festival travel rush.

Zhang Yuanyuan: "Don't even mention it. I lost my wallet on the way back. Luckily, there wasn't much money in it, but my ID card and everything else were inside. I'm going to be very busy this Spring Festival."

Replace various certificates and bank cards.

Zhang Yuanyuan added a helpless emoji to the post.

An Yiruo: "Isn't there a holiday during the Spring Festival?"

Zhang Yuanyuan wrote, "It's a holiday, so I took a few extra days off," followed by several crying emojis.

Zhang Yuanyuan sent another message: "Don't miss me too much if we can't see each other right after the New Year. By the way, your boss just sent out red envelopes in the group chat, and I got over a hundred."

An Yiruo: "Then I congratulate Yuanyuan on your good luck. See you after the New Year."

After chatting with Zhang Yuanyuan, An Yiruo sent a New Year's greeting to her college roommates' group chat.

The others quickly responded.

"It's almost Chinese New Year, how about we all get together? We haven't had a get-together in a long time," Li Mei suggested in the group chat.

Wang Tingting: "I'm fine with anything, it depends on your schedule."

Gu Siqi: "I'm fine with either, after all, I'm all alone."

Li Mei: "Yeah, now apart from Tingting who's already taken, we're all single in the dorm."

Li Mei sent a message in the group chat expressing her feelings, and An Yiruo seemed thoughtful after reading the message.

"An'an, what are you thinking about? You can get lost in thought while looking at your phone," Mo Jingchen asked with concern as he sat down beside him.

“Look, I want to… tell them you exist,” An Yiruo said, turning her phone screen towards Mo Jingchen.

"I'm fine with anything, I'll listen to An'an."

Mo Jingchen was secretly delighted; his An'an was finally going to introduce him to her friends.

"Then I'll tell you."

An Yiruo looked at Mo Jingchen, and saw him nod.

He sat there calmly, seemingly indifferent, but inside he was in turmoil.

An Yiruo: "Um... I have something to tell you."

Li Mei wrote, "What's wrong? You didn't find someone too, did you?" followed by several frustrated emojis.

An Yiruo: "Yes. Meimei, you have to keep it up."

After he said that, the group chat exploded.

There was no indication of it beforehand, and then suddenly she announced she was no longer single. Everyone looking at their phones was filled with surprise.

Li Mei: "Seriously? This is dog abuse during the New Year! Where's the justice? When are you going to bring it out for us to see?"

Wang Tingting said, "There's no time like the present. Bring her out to our gathering in a few days so we sisters can give you our opinion."

An Yiruo: "I'll ask him."

"They want to see you and are asking if you have time."

"Even if you don't have it, you still have to."

"You can't breathe so heavily when you talk."

An Yiru rolled her eyes at Mo Jingchen, then continued replying to her message on her phone, "He said it's okay. See you in a few days then."

Li Mei: "An'an, why haven't we heard from you at all before? When did you get together?"

Of course, no matter how much time has passed, Li Mei's gossipy heart has not diminished.

An Yiruo said, "We've been together for a while now, but our relationship was a bit unstable before, so I haven't told you guys yet."

Li Mei: "Oh, An'an. You've kept it well hidden. What does he do?"

An Yiruo thought for a moment and typed a few words: "Let's do some small business at home."

Wang Tingting: "An'an, explain yourself clearly, or else... hmph, you know what I mean!"

An Yiruo, though seemingly strong, was actually filled with helplessness. "It was just an accident. In the end, I found out he was a good person, so we got together. There's nothing special about it."

Li Mei: "Send me a photo first, let's see if it matches our beautiful An'an."

Photos? It seems they... don't have any photos together.

"Shall we take a picture?" An Yiruo asked, sitting down beside her.

"Okay, where to film?"

"This is fine."

An Yiruo raised her phone, tilting it slightly upwards at a 45-degree angle, and took a photo that satisfied her.

It was sent to the group.

Li Mei: "An'an, is that a celebrity? How come she's so beautiful?"

An Yiruo is "not a celebrity, just an ordinary worker."

Li Mei "She passed the looks test, but there's something about the age difference between her and Li Mei."

Gu Siqi: "What do you know? Older men are more caring, they won't make you feel bad, and they know how to coax you. Isn't that great?"

Li Mei: "What you said makes some sense."

An Yiruo: "I'll stop here for now, let's talk when we meet in a few days."

"Is it settled?" Mo Jingchen asked as An Yiruo put down her phone.

"Well, I just don't know if Mr. Mo is prepared."

"Always be prepared."

"The date is set for the third year of junior high school, and we'll go together then."

"Okay, I'll have Assistant Zhou make a reservation at a restaurant later."

An Yiruo thought for a moment, then instructed Mo Jingchen, "Don't go for anything too fancy, keep it casual."

"Okay, I'll do whatever An'an says."

After saying that, Mo Jingchen's eyes fell on the stack of red envelopes next to An Yiruo: "Aren't you going to open them and take a look?"
