Chapter 67 Fool, you're already moved?

“A true heiress, An An. I’ll be working under you from now on, so please take good care of me,” Mo Jingchen said, standing in front of An Yiruo, his hands on the table as he leaned closer to her.

"No problem, no problem. After all, I'm not short of money these days!" An Yiruo said, waving a stack of A4 papers in front of Mo Jingchen.

“An’an, take a look at these properties inside, and pick one for Mom to move into.”

“Chen, you…” Hearing Mo Jingchen’s words, An Yiruo still didn’t understand. Mo Jingchen first gave her assets, and then asked her to find a property for her mother to live in from these assets.

The purpose is to... put my mother and me at ease. And also to provide my mother with a good living environment!

"Silly girl, you're already moved?" Mo Jingchen said, tapping An Yiruo's nose as he looked at her slightly red eyes.

"Chen, why are you so good to me!" An Yiruo could no longer hide her feelings. She reached out and hugged Mo Jingchen, burying her head in his shoulder as she spoke.

"because I love you!"

"Chen, I love you too!"

"An'an, say it again!" Hearing An Yiruo confess her feelings, Mo Jingchen was a little excited. He was worried that he might not have heard her clearly, so he held An Yiruo's shoulders and asked her to say it again.

"Mo Jingchen, I love you."

"An'an, thank you for making such a wise choice. From now on, I will definitely make you the happiest woman in the entire City A!"

"Chen, I feel like I'm the happiest woman in the whole of City A, no, the whole world," An Yiruo said with a smile, her arms around Mo Jingchen's shoulders.

"An'an, quickly take a look and see which house you like. Once you've chosen one, let Mom move there as soon as possible," Mo Jingchen said, letting An Yiruo hug him like that, his eyes full of affection for her.

Urged by Mo Jingchen, An Yiruo began to carefully review the properties under his name. Most of them were located in convenient locations, and the houses and apartment layouts were of superior quality.

The materials included villas, apartments, and residences. The houses varied in size and style. In the end, An Yiruo chose a residence in front of her from among many options. It had two bedrooms and a living room, and at her age, it would provide a place for her to stay if she went back to visit her mother.

"Chen, this one."

Mo Jingchen looked at the photos of the house that An Yiruo handed him and frowned: "This... isn't it too small?"

"No, a two-bedroom apartment is just right for my mom. It won't be too tiring to clean, and I'll have a place to stay when I go back to visit her occasionally. Also, it's residential water and electricity, which will save on expenses!"

“That’s true, but I still think it’s a bit too small! How about An’an looks at some other options?” Mo Jingchen found a two-story villa in the city center among the documents. The location and decoration were quite good. He handed it to An Yiruo: “An’an, I think this one is nice. Why don’t we let Mom move here?”

After taking it, An Yiruo saw that it was a villa and shook her head: "Knowing her as I do, she wouldn't live in a villa like this by herself. Unless she bought it herself!"

"Or... this will do too." Mo Jingchen handed An Yiruo a large, single-level apartment with large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering excellent views and scenery!

“This two-bedroom apartment is perfect. We’ve already moved from the suburbs to the city center. Besides, my mom is home alone most of the time. If the house is too big, she’ll be scared. And she can’t do strenuous work. If she lives in such a big house, cleaning every day would be too much for her,” An Yiruo explained to Mo Jingchen.

"Alright, if that's the case, then we'll do as An'an says. Why don't you call Mom?"

"good."

An Yiruo picked up her phone and gestured for Mo Jingchen to go out first.

Mo Jingchen understood that An Yiruo did this because she wanted to say something to her mother. Although he was somewhat reluctant, he still left with great gentlemanly manners and closed the study door behind him.

"Mom, are we home yet?"

"I'm home already. I just came in and had a sip of water. What's wrong, An'an?"

"It's nothing, I just wanted to ask Mom if she got home yet!"

"We've arrived. You and Jingchen must be home by now!"

“We’ve all arrived. Mom, how did you feel about today’s meeting?” An Yiruo tentatively probed her mother’s attitude.

“An’an, I’m so glad you found such a good man as Mo Jingchen. I sincerely hope you and Jingchen can live a good life together.”

An Yiruo could tell that her mother truly liked and accepted Mo Jingchen, as well as his family.

“In that case, Jingchen and I have picked out a house in the city for you. I’ll go over there in the next few days to help you pack your things, and then we can move in sometime!” An Yiruo said this because she didn’t want to give her mother a chance to refuse.

"I..." Before her aunt could finish speaking, An Yiruo continued, "Mom, as your daughter, I also hope that you can be happy. I also hope that you can have a good living environment."

"Okay, I'll pack my things in the next few days." Mother An no longer refused and readily agreed!

"Don't pack yet, wait until I get home from get off work tomorrow night and we'll pack together! You can't overwork yourself!"

"Okay, I'll do whatever An'an says!" Even through the phone, you could feel An'an's mother's helplessness and frustration towards her daughter.

After hanging up the phone, An Yiruo returned to her bedroom: "Chen, what are you thinking about?"

An Yiruo watched Mo Jingchen sitting on the sofa, lost in thought.

"An'an, are you done on the phone? What did Mom say?"

"My mom agreed to move in. But, Chen, you still haven't told me what you were daydreaming about just now!"

"National Day is coming soon, and the company gives us a seven-day holiday according to national regulations. I was thinking of taking you somewhere to have some fun."

"Where does Chen want to go?" An Yiruo asked casually, finding a seat next to Mo Jingchen. She was willing to go anywhere as long as she was with Mo Jingchen.

"I'm just wondering whether to go abroad or stay in China. If we go abroad, seven days might not be enough. If we stay in China, I'm worried that An'an won't have enough time to enjoy herself," Mo Jingchen said, naturally pulling An Yiruo into his arms as he shared his thoughts.

“Abroad, I don’t have a passport,” An Yiruo said, voicing a question that Mo Jingchen hadn’t expected.

With that said, Mo Jingchen no longer needed to worry; he could only spend his seven-day holiday traveling within China.

"It's okay, An'an. We'll just have fun in the country then."

"Yes, Chen. Our country has beautiful mountains and rivers, and many famous historical sites. Traveling within the country is a very enjoyable thing."

An Yiruo wasn't very interested in going abroad. First, there was the language barrier, and second, the food was different. She didn't want to suffer abroad!
