Chapter 30: The Studio Looks Like It's Going Bankrupt



Jiang Wanyan said politely, "Hello, I'm Jiang Wanyan."

"I know," Chen Ye seemed very satisfied with Jiang Wanyan. "I told the teacher about you a long time ago, but he just didn't believe me. He only decided to contact you yesterday."

"This is supposed to be my job, but you insist on doing it yourself and won't let me interfere."

Jiang Wanyan could tell from his words that the teacher he was talking about was the old man she met yesterday.

Chen Ye simply comforted him, saying, "Don't be nervous later. Just do whatever you are asked to do. Don't think the teacher is difficult to get along with. He is actually a very nice person."

Difficult to get along with? Nice?

Jiang Wanyan wondered how Chen Ye put these two words together.

There aren't many people on this floor. I only met four or five people when I walked all the way to the end.

Even the air revealed that the studio was going bankrupt.

At the end was the recording studio, and Chen Ye gently pushed open the door.

The recording studio was quiet, without a sound at all.

It was dark and there were no lights on.

It took Jiang Wanyan a long time to adapt to the darkness and she followed Chen Ye inside.

Chen Ye suddenly stopped and squatted down.

There was a recliner in front of Chen Ye, and the person on the recliner was sleeping with a notebook covering his face.

Sleeping in the studio?

Chen Ye was conflicted, but in the end he didn't wake the person up.

Jiang Wanyan was not in a hurry and began to look around the recording studio.

Before even looking at the recording studio, Jiang Wanyan's attention was drawn to the person in the corner.

They weren't the only three people in the recording studio. The others were huddled in a corner, silent, as if they were frozen in place.
