Jiang Wanyan calmed down and asked softly, "What play?"
"Meet the parents."
"Now?" Jiang Wanyan looked down at her plain clothes. "Should I go get ready?"
“It requires preparation.”
Xi Chenzhu said this and drove into the mall's underground parking lot.
He got out of the car first, opened the door for Jiang Wanyan, and raised his hand to protect her: "Get out."
It was almost dinner time and there were very few people in the mall.
Jiang Wanyan hadn't been to the mall for a long time and was a little hesitant.
Xi Chenzhu didn't know much about women's clothing, so he said, "If you see something you like, try it on."
Jiang Wanyan was embarrassed: "I like them all, but they don't suit me."
Jiang Wanyan hadn't worn beautiful clothes for a long time, and she felt afraid, always worried that she would become a laughing stock if she wore them.
Xi Chenzhu found it funny, so he reached out and took out a light blue dress and handed it to her, saying, "Time is running out, go and try it."
Jiang Wanyan had no choice but to take the clothes into the fitting room.

"Okay, let's stop talking for now." Xi Chenzhu interrupted her and hung up the phone.
"Is anyone looking for it?"
Jiang Wanyan came out and saw him on the phone, and said considerately: "I'm fine, you go ahead and do your thing."
Xi Chenzhu turned around and saw Jiang Wanyan wearing a light blue halter dress. The simple style did not outshine the crowd, but instead made her temperament stand out.
"It's not a big deal," Xi Chenzhu smiled lightly, his eyes full of satisfaction. He reached out and took Jiang Wanyan's left hand, saying, "It seems it's almost there."
Jiang Wanyan blinked, and before she could say anything, Xi Chenzhu pulled her away. He said as they walked, "A ring is missing."
"Ring?" Jiang Wanyan was surprised. "No need, I have one in my bag..."
Xi Chenzhu paused and asked, "Wedding ring?"
Jiang Wanyan looked at Xi Chenzhu's back and whispered, "It's a wedding ring."
She put it in her bag early in the morning and planned to return it to He Ming today, but she unexpectedly forgot about it.
Xi Chenzhu turned around, still holding Jiang Wanyan's hand with one hand, and stretched out the other hand in front of Jiang Wanyan, "Give it to me."
Jiang Wanyan was stunned, and Xi Chenzhu said, "Or are you reluctant to throw it away?"
As soon as she said this, Jiang Wanyan immediately reached out and took out the wedding ring, handed it to Xi Chenzhu, and said disdainfully, "I'd be crazy to not want to give it up."
Xi Chenzhu smiled and took Jiang Wanyan to the jewelry store. He then shook the wedding ring and asked Jiang Wanyan, "Did I sell it?"
Jiang Wanyan said indifferently, "Sell it."
Xi Chenzhu asked the store clerk for a new diamond ring for Jiang Wanyan to choose from. Jiang Wanyan chose a simple, low-key yet decent diamond ring.
After buying the diamond ring, Xi Chenzhu asked Jiang Wan for her cigarette card number.
Not long after Jiang Wanyan said this, a text message came on her phone indicating that she had received a sum of money.
Xi Chenzhu said, "The money from selling the wedding ring."
The clerk smiled and said, "Miss, your husband is so good to you. You are so lucky."
Jiang Wanyan blushed slightly and picked up the wedding rings.
Xi Chenzhu stretched out his hand in front of her and looked at her with raised eyebrows.
Jiang Wanyan nervously helped him put it on, Xi Chenzhu held her hand in his backhand, and they left the jewelry store together.
Xi Chenzhu helped Jiang Wanyan open the door, lowered his eyes and looked at her sideways with a smile. Jiang Wanyan raised her eyes and met his eyes, and her heart beat wildly.
A camera in the distance captured this eye contact. The camera owner took out his phone and made a call, chuckling, "I have two photos that are sure to go viral."
The car entered an upscale residential area. When Xi Chenzhu took Jiang Wanyan upstairs, her eyes rolled around.
When the elevator stopped, Jiang Wanyan asked, "Mr. Xi, do you live with your family?"
Xi Chenzhu held the elevator door open and waited for Jiang Wanyan to exit the elevator. He followed her and asked, "Don't you like living with your family?"
Jiang Wanyan quickly shook her head: "No, I like living with my mother too."
Although Liang Manzhu may not like living with her.
When she was a child, Liang Manzhu loved her very much, but later on, for some reason, she started to avoid her.
Xi Chenzhu looked at her doubtfully, and Jiang Wanyan explained, "Given your status as President Xi, I thought you would live in a big house."
Xi Chenzhu said casually, "My sister and I were raised by our mother, so we're used to living together. If you're not used to it, we can move out."
"We still want to live together?" Jiang Wanyan was surprised. She was planning to stay at Yin You's house for one night.
As they were talking, the two walked to the door. Xi Nuannuan, who was waiting inside, saw them from the surveillance camera and immediately opened the door.
Xi Nuannuan saw the ring on Jiang Wanyan's hand and saw that she was dressed elegantly and decently. She immediately took a liking to her and excitedly pulled Jiang Wanyan to her arm: "Is this my sister-in-law? Brother, you really found me a sister-in-law!"
Jiang Wanyan smiled and stood there uncomfortably as punishment.
Seeing that she was a little reserved, Xi Nuannuan liked her even more. She didn't like those who tried to get close to her brother and had no self-respect. On the other hand, she liked Jiang Wanyan no matter how she looked at her.
She clung to Jiang Wanyan affectionately, praising her brother naggingly, "Don't be afraid, sister-in-law. My brother only looks fierce, but he's actually very gentle and self-disciplined. He's different from those people out there..."
Jiang Wanyan laughed. Was Xi Nuannuan worried that she would dislike Xi Chenzhu?
Xi Chenzhu tapped Xi Nuannuan on the head with his finger and said, "Stop annoying me and go in."
Xi Nuannuan stuck out her tongue and shouted as she entered the house, "Mom, my brother brought a beautiful sister!"
