After hearing Jiang Wanyan's situation, Yin You was so shocked that his jaw dropped.
"Where's Xi Chenzhu? You ran away secretly, I came to pick you up."
Jiang Wanyan stood at the door, far away from the bathroom door, as if this way she would not be able to hear the sound of running water.
She said helplessly: "I am wearing a yukata now."
Someone knocked on the door behind her. Jiang Wanyan was stunned. She whispered to Yin You that she would contact him later and then hung up the phone.
When she opened the door, Xi Nuannuan was standing at the door with a fruit plate in her hand. She glanced into the room and didn't see Xi Chenzhu. She stuffed the fruit plate into Jiang Wanyan's hand and said unhappily, "Don't even think about being my sister-in-law."
Jiang Wanyan understood that Xi Nuannuan minded that she was divorced, especially since her husband was Xi Chenzhu's arch-enemy He Ming.

After closing the door, Xi Chenzhu pulled his sister into the study and placed the fruit plate on the table.
Xi Nuannuan reached for the fruit plate: "Brother...don't you not eat fruit?"
Xi Chenzhu slapped her hand away, chuckled, and asked, "How could I not see through your little trick?"
"Oh," Xi Nuannuan rubbed the back of her hand and blinked as she explained, "I just washed it with chili water. It's okay if she eats it."
Xi Chenzhu stuffed the fruit plate into her arms and stared at her seriously, "Nuannuan, I will endure the hardships with your sister-in-law."
Xi Nuannuan nodded dejectedly. At worst, she would just not bully her for the time being.
