After Assistant Zhou returned to the office, Secretary Zhang and Secretary Li came over and asked him with concern, "How is the little girl?"
Secretary Li: "Why did Xia Yu suddenly faint?"
Even if Xia Yu was the person that President Qin had mentioned as needing special care, even if a colleague fainted, they would still ask about it.
Assistant Zhou pulled out his office chair and sat down. He sighed deeply before saying, "Oh, forget it. It's not a big deal. She just fainted from heatstroke while buying coffee downstairs."

Assistant Zhou suspected he had misheard and asked, "Why don't you just take a taxi home? Why do you want me to pick you up?"
He really couldn't understand how a small intern could be so confident in asking her supervisor to take her home.

Assistant Zhou said politely, "It's just a simple favor. It's not your daughter's fault. She's still young and very innocent."
Some things can be discussed and complained to colleagues in private, but there is no need to complain to their parents and embarrass them.
