Chapter 213: Forcing Daughter Away

Tong Chengsheng's expression was filled with panic: "Tonghua, why did you come back so suddenly?!"

He clearly remembered that his daughter didn't come home often, so why did she suddenly come home at this critical moment?

Tonghua asked him directly: "Of course I came back because of you, Dad. Why did you suddenly stop going to work and go out, and instead stay at home drinking all day?"

In fact, when Zhang Guiying called her and said that her father was drinking all day and even didn't go to work, Tonghua was skeptical. After all, in order to support their family, her father was very serious about his work and would not be absent from work without reason.

But with a hint of worry, Fairy Tale still hurried over.

But when she saw the house full of scattered wine bottles, and saw a strong smell of alcohol coming from her father's clothes, and his face was unshaven, as if he hadn't taken care of it for several days.

Tonghua completely believed what Zhang Guiying said. His father really had not left the house for a long time.

So what exactly happened?

After waking up, Tong Chengsheng's expression shrank for a moment, but soon returned to normal: "I...it's nothing. I will go to work as usual tomorrow, don't worry."

Tong Hua was told not to worry, but just as Tong Zhengyuan took a step outside, he stumbled and almost fell to the ground. Fortunately, Tong Hua was quick-witted and immediately grabbed his arm to stabilize his body and prevent him from falling.

Tonghua sighed helplessly and helped him sit on the sofa.

Tonghua sat down next to him and said softly, "Dad, I'm your daughter! If you have anything to say, you can tell me. We're all family, why are you hiding things?"

She didn't understand why her father didn't tell her if he had any problems, but chose to drink instead. It would have been fine when she was young, but now she was an adult and had the ability to help the family, why did her father still refuse to tell her anything? Even if she couldn't help, she could at least be a listener, which would make him feel better.

Tong Chengsheng tilted his head to the side and said in a stern tone, "Don't meddle in my business! Get out of here right now!"

? !

Why did her father, who had just asked her with concern why she had suddenly returned, now change his expression and ask her to leave?

Tonghua was afraid that she had misheard and wrongly blamed Tong Chengsheng, so she asked again: "Dad, what did you just say? I just seemed to hear..."

Tong Chengsheng glared at Tong Hua and said, "I told you to leave my house! Don't stay here! Are you deaf?!"

Tonghua's eyes widened. Could such heartless words really have come from her father?

Tonghua was completely stunned by Tong Chengsheng's words. Seeing that Tonghua didn't move, Tong Chengsheng became even more impatient and started to chase her away.

He warned her, "Get out of here! You are not welcome in this house! Never set foot in this house again! Remember! Forever!"

Tonghua's heart was broken. Could this really be what a father said to his own children? At this point, Tonghua began to doubt whether she was her father's biological daughter.

She had obviously rushed home despite the hardship because she cared about her father, but now her father wanted to drive her away without any reason and even specifically said that this was his home.

Tong Chengsheng kept pushing Tonghua, as if he didn't want her to stay any longer. Tonghua didn't resist and was pushed out the door by Tong Chengsheng.

When they reached the stairs, Tong Chengsheng stopped pushing and started pulling Tonghua's arm as they walked out. As they walked down the stairs, both Tong Chengsheng and Tonghua remained silent.

Halfway up the stairs, Fairy Tale actually believed what her father had said about not staying there.

She began to resist: "Let me go! I can walk by myself!"

Since her father said such words, she also has self-respect and will not stay here stubbornly, but why does her father not show her any mercy? It seems that if he lets go of her, she will refuse to leave, and he even drives her away with his own hands.

It was like a loud slap in the face of Fairy Tale.

Tong Chengsheng turned a deaf ear to her and kept pulling her downstairs. When they reached the gate of the unit and saw the residents coming and going, Tong Chengsheng obviously quickened his pace and continued to walk forward with Tong Hua without saying a word.

Tonghua was completely devastated by her father's words. Her eyes were dull and she let the other party pull her away. She didn't notice that once her father saw people around, his body tensed up and his face became extremely nervous. She also didn't notice that everyone in the community seemed to point and talk at her after seeing her, and they looked gloating together with the people next to them.

When Tong Chengsheng was pulling Tonghua almost out of the community gate, a father and son came towards them. Tong Chengsheng was also familiar with that father and son. He and Tong Chengsheng had a common hobby, which was drinking.

In the past, Tong Chengsheng would bring the other party to his home for a small gathering, but now the other party was walking towards him, and before the other party could extend his hand, he wanted to say something.

Tong Chengsheng immediately took Tonghua by the hand and walked towards the side, making a big circle before leaving the community.

After Tong Hua was finally pulled out of the community by Tong Chengsheng, Tong Chengsheng's tense body finally relaxed. He breathed a sigh of relief, slowed down his pace, looked back at Tong Hua, and saw the heartbroken expression on his daughter's face. He also felt sad, but immediately hid his expression.

Tong Chengsheng continued to pull Tonghua to a road section they didn't often go to, and called a taxi there.
