Chapter 36 Regaining the Initiative (2/2)

First, she spurred the growth of the cherry orchard after the harvest. Suddenly, the bare cherry trees were covered with fruit. Lin Zhaozhao felt a great sense of accomplishment and felt like she had inexhaustible energy and superpowers. Her originally tired spirit suddenly became refreshed, and she became more and more energetic as she spurred the growth.

After three attempts to establish a cherry orchard, the harvested cherries successfully drove the system price up to 60 yuan per kilogram. Lin Zhaozhao finally stopped sending them to the shelves and instead set her sights on the strawberries in the vegetable garden.

Perhaps due to her supernatural ability, the strawberry seedlings grew into strawberry trees, with strawberries hanging from the branches like ripe persimmons, each one as big as a baby's fist. Even Lin Zhaozhao, who had been spoiled by cherries, was amazed after eating one.

When I put it on the shelf and saw the price, it was 65 yuan per kilogram.

Lin Zhaozhao saw this opportunity and couldn't let it pass, so she immediately set aside a piece of land to grow strawberries.

As the saying goes, one shouldn't fall twice in the same place. Tragically, Lin Zhaozhao broke her leg again, making the same mistake as when she started her cherry orchard.

The reason why strawberry seedlings in vegetable gardens can grow into strawberry trees is through the accumulation of time and effort. However, strawberries in strawberry fields start as seedlings and need to be forced to grow into trees multiple times.

Lin Zhaozhao was in high spirits and, with an indomitable spirit, managed to turn a third of the strawberry seedlings in the strawberry garden into strawberry trees overnight. As for the strawberries that grew, she put them all on the shelves.

Seeing that her account was now missing nearly 200,000 yuan in loan payments, Lin Zhaozhao mentally exclaimed that it wasn't a bad deal before leaving the space.

Lying in bed, drowsiness washed over her like a tide, but her head was throbbing with a dense, needle-like pain from overuse of her powers. After tossing and turning for a long time, Lin Zhaozhao couldn't bear the pain any longer and stuffed a large handful of strawberries into her mouth.

After eating the strawberries, Lin Zhaozhao's depleted supernatural power was replenished, and she drifted off to sleep.

Lin Zhaozhao was not at ease after falling asleep. She had a dream in which she was climbing a mountain and was about to reach the top, but there seemed to be a barrier blocking her way.

The feeling of seeing something but not being able to touch it was too unbearable for Lin Zhaozhao, so she immediately put all her strength into trying to break through the barrier.

In a flash, she pulled out all sorts of tools like Doraemon, including sticks, daggers, axes, and electric drills. She tried them all and finally managed to pry open a hole after a long struggle.

The wound tore open, revealing a vast expanse of mountains and valleys. A gentle breeze blew, filling the air with a sense of exhilaration. Every cell in the body seemed to be clamoring for more, and even the soul felt a sense of lightness and ethereal bliss.

The feeling was so wonderful that Lin Zhaozhao, lying on the bed, smiled and turned over.

Unbeknownst to her, she was surrounded by a pale green glow, light and clear, which was spreading outwards from her center.

The four little ones who were sleeping soundly in the yard suddenly straightened their legs and rushed towards Lin Zhaozhao with lightning speed the moment they came into contact with the light.

Because of their small size, Xiao Teng and Xiao Guai squeezed in through the half-open window. Xiao Li and Mei Mei were not so lucky. They watched as Xiao Guai and Xiao Teng nimbly took their places beside Lin Zhaozhao, absorbing the pale green light overflowing from her body with satisfaction. They were so anxious that they trembled.

Suddenly, Little Li remembered that its branches and leaves could extend and retract. It was delighted and stretched its branches and leaves into the house, absorbing the nutrients eagerly. Only Meimei was powerless to help, and could only let out a long bleat and stomp its hind hoof in frustration.

After a good night's sleep, Lin Zhaozhao felt refreshed. Stepping out of the house, a breeze greeted her, her eyelids were slightly closed, and her stray hairs brushed against her face, as various images came into view.

The bustling crowds, the hawkers, the escort agencies transporting goods, the noble ladies of wealthy families surrounded by their brocade robes, and even the students in the academy engaging in lively discussions.
